00:00 I've been noticing a lot lately that girls have been almost ashamed to say that they love makeup.
00:07 Because nowadays when you say you love makeup, you either do it because you want to look good for boys,
00:12 you do it because you're insecure, or you do it because you don't love yourself.
00:16 I feel like in a way lately, it's almost a crime to love doing your makeup.
00:21 So after seeing last week's RuPaul's Drag Race with the half drag, half male,
00:26 I was inspired to show you the power of makeup.
00:30 I notice a lot that when I don't wear makeup and I have my hair up in a bun,
00:33 and I meet people and I show them pictures of my videos or whatever looks I have done,
00:40 they look at me and straight up tell me, "That is not you."
00:44 They tell me that's funny because I don't even look like that girl on the picture.
00:48 So without any further ado, I'm going to do half my face, full on glam.
00:53 I'm truly going to transform one side of my face, and the other side is going to be me.
00:58 Raw, unedited, nothing. Me. Just me. So let's do it.
01:03 Today I'm first going in with my Kogen Dough Aqua Foundation in number 213.
01:07 It makes me look photoshopped without Photoshop. That's why I love it.
01:12 Same goes for concealer. I have dark circles. I want them to be gone.
01:37 I love brows. Problem is, I don't have them naturally. What is the solution for that?
01:42 Brow pencil.
01:44 For eyes, I don't like how my eyes are hooded, slightly on the smaller side,
02:01 and just not as open and awake and fresh.
02:03 So I like to take a brown eyeshadow and start building in my crease.
02:12 And most of the days, I don't even follow my natural crease.
02:17 I just go a little bit above it and create this new shape.
02:22 So I can create this eye shape, or the effect that I want my eye to give, by using makeup.
02:29 Here I'm using Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow in Fawn and Cognac.
02:34 Golds and taupe eyeshadows are my favorite for on the lid.
02:40 So for this transformation, I'll use no other.
02:45 I love optically making my eyes look larger, so for this I'm taking my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
02:50 and creating a new inner corner.
02:53 And creating a parallel line underneath and leaving the space in between there.
03:01 Smoke out the lower lash line as smoky as you want it to be.
03:06 And to open up those inner corners even more, I'm taking this Jewel Effects in Shine by Makeup Studio and sparkle it up.
03:15 And if there's one thing that completely changes up my eyes, it's eyeliner.
03:26 And of course, lashes.
03:40 For this I'm using the Laina lashes, and these are Bev.
03:46 One of the main things I get told when I show people a picture of me with makeup, like in my videos,
03:52 and when I'm without makeup in front of them in person, they always say "but you look so much slimmer!"
03:57 Let me introduce you to the world of contouring. Contouring is my religion.
04:02 So today to sculpt one side of my face, I'll be using the Kat Von D Shade and Light palette.
04:16 Gotta double chin, contour that shit.
04:21 Look at that, look at that. Cheekbones on point.
04:25 Where is the point? Bronzer, because it gives me the sun without the damage.
04:31 Luminosa Blush by Milani, because it just transforms my cheeks into heaven.
04:37 And the Balm's Mary Luminizer to highlight.
04:42 For lips, I like lining them. Today I'm using Boldly Bear lip pencil by MAC, just to give the shape of my lips a little bit more volume.
04:55 Then a Pinky Coral lipstick, this is Soft Touch by Dose of Colors.
05:01 And over top, a nude gloss. Here I'm using the Rimmel Apocalypse Lip Lacquer in #100.
05:09 And that guys, is the power of makeup.
05:12 By no means, I want to say that if you have insecurities, that you should just slap makeup on, feel better, and just never be content with your own self.
05:21 I just want people to know that makeup is fun, and there are no rules to makeup.
05:27 And if you want to go for that super ass sharp contour for the day, do it.
05:31 If you want to go for a red lip and crazy bold eyes, do it.
05:35 There are no rules to makeup, and makeup is there for days when you want to look hella good.
05:40 And that's why I love the power of makeup.
05:43 Thank you so much for watching. If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel.

06:01 And I want to thank you for watching. Bye bye!

06:20 Hi guys! So really quickly I'm going to do an intro for this video.
06:24 I just finished filming it, so I did my everyday makeup routine.
06:27 And it has been quite a while since I've done one of these. I think that the last one I did was actually last August.
06:32 So it's been quite a while, and I've been getting asked a lot lately if I could do one of these again.
06:37 So I decided that I would do it because obviously some stuff has changed since the last one I did.
06:41 But before I get into it, I just want to do a little disclaimer and say that this is my full face makeup routine.
06:47 So this is what I do on days that I have to work or something like that, or if I'm going out somewhere.
06:51 Which is quite often, there's not a lot of days where I'm just lounging around my house.
06:55 But I mean there definitely are days where I feel like wearing a little bit less than this.
06:58 Or there's days where I feel like wearing a little more than this. Like a little bit more on my eyes or my lips or something.
07:03 So just keep that in mind that this is not what I do like every single day. It's just like most days.
07:08 So yeah, if you guys are interested in watching my everyday makeup routine, then just stay tuned because I'm going to jump right into it.
07:14 Okay, so the first thing that I do is I take Benefit's Porefessional Primer and apply this to my nose.
07:19 Then I take Smashbox Photo Finish Light Primer and apply this to the rest of my face.
07:24 Then I take the new CoverGirl Outlast 3-in-1 foundation and just kind of dot this all over my face randomly.
07:39 And then I take the Quo blending sponge and I make sure that it's damp before I use it.
07:44 This is pretty much a knockoff of the Beauty Blender and it's way cheaper. So I love this one.
07:49 And like I said, I use it damp and I pretty much just blend it in using a patting motion.
07:54 I never rub with it. I always make sure to like press the foundation into my skin.
07:58 Then I use my Garnier Tinted Eye Roller under my eyes. I like to use this especially in the morning because it's cool and it gives me a little bit of coverage.
08:11 Then I just take that same Quo blending sponge and blend that in.
08:15 Then I go over that concealer with my L'Oreal True Match Concealer. I like to use this over top just for a little bit of extra coverage because I personally like that full coverage concealer look.
08:33 Then I just set all my liquid products with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. I wear the color Translucent and I love this powder because it's one of the only powders that keeps me matte all day, even in my T-zone.
08:47 So I pretty much just blot this on all over that foundation and concealer.
08:53 Then I take my Pure Minerals Bronzer in the color Medium Dark and this is actually a face powder, not a bronzer, but it's one of the only colors that I like with my skin tone.
09:03 And then after that I take the Benefit Throb Box Powder and I use this as a blush and highlight.
09:09 And this kind of changes for me every day, but this is the one that I've been loving recently.
09:13 Then I take this matte brown eyeshadow in this MAC Duo that I have with my Sigma E65 angled brush and I just start to fill in my brows.
09:22 I've been doing them a lot thinner lately, but I kind of like to change up the way that I do them.
09:27 And I personally like the look of a stronger brow, that's just kind of the way that I roll with mine.
09:32 And I do understand that that's not for everybody, so I just recommend staying within your comfort zone.
09:37 Now we're going to move on to the eyes. So I'm going to start with my Essence Eye Primer and I'm just going to apply this to my lids and then simply blend it in with my fingers.
09:49 Then I mix these two champagne shades together from my mini Smashbox Soft Lights palette and just apply this all over my lid.
09:56 Next I take Naked 2 from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette and I just apply this into my crease using a big fluffy blending brush.
10:18 And then I just simply line my upper lash line with the Urban Decay 24 hour eyeliner in the color perversion.
10:41 Then I generously apply a couple coats of the Covergirl Lash Blast 24 hour mascara to my lashes.
11:09 Now I'm going to take my Gauche White Eyeliner and apply this into the waterline just to give my eyes a little bit of an extra pop.
11:15 Then I'm going to take that purple Essence Eyeliner that I just showed and apply that below the white right into my lash line.
11:21 And that is actually all that I do for my eyes. So it's pretty quick and easy and I love that pop of purple for the spring and summer.
11:36 Then on my lips I'm going to use the Lise Wadier lipstick in the color Jennifer. I love this lipstick because not only is the color payoff amazing, but it's also super moisturizing.
11:45 And lastly I'm just going to lock in all that makeup with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I literally cannot live without this stuff anymore because it's so amazing.
11:57 And that is actually it for my everyday makeup routine, so I hope you guys enjoyed it and thank you so much for watching.
