00:13 And this week, we are going to be doing
00:15 a makeup inspired by our idol/favorite celebrity,
00:19 suggested by our fellow drag queen, Peaches and Cream.

00:25 My makeup is inspired by my idol, Selena Quintanilla Perez.

00:33 Selena has been my idol since, like, day one.
00:37 Oh, my god.
00:38 I love her.
00:39 Girl, if she was still alive, she'd
00:40 be killing the game right now.
00:41 She'd be bigger than Beyonce.
00:44 Rest in peace.
00:45 So I put together a little tutorial for you
00:47 guys on this makeup look.
00:49 And I hope you like it.
00:50 Let's get started.
00:53 All right, so this is me in my boy form.
00:55 That's my little sister and my little brother
00:59 without eyebrows, because I want to be like their brother.
01:01 So I'm starting off with my eyebrows
01:05 and a black eyebrow pencil.
01:07 And Selena's eyebrows were very dark and defined.
01:10 And they were rounded in the front.
01:12 And they got skinnier towards the end.
01:15 And here, I'm just cleaning up the edge
01:18 to make it look crisp and neat.
01:20 And now, here's where the magic happens.
01:22 I'm taking a flat concealer brush and a concealer
01:24 and cleaning up my eyebrows and making them
01:28 round and skinny as possible.
01:29 And now, I'm taking my foundation
01:37 and cleaning up the top.
01:39 And then, just blending it with my finger.
01:42 And then, I'm taking a brow gel just to secure the brows
01:50 and keep them in place.
01:52 And I'm going in with my foundation, which
01:54 is the Maybelline Fit Me Stick in the color 240.
01:57 And I love this stick because it gives a very matte finish.
02:00 And taking a damp beauty blender,
02:07 this is where you beat yo face.
02:11 Beat it.
02:13 Beat that face.
02:14 And now, with a full coverage concealer,
02:16 I'm highlighting my face.
02:18 And I'm using several pictures as references.
02:23 I'm just highlighting my T-zone, basically, my nose, my forehead,
02:30 my cheek, and my chin.
02:33 And then, I'm blending it all out with my damp beauty
02:40 blender.
02:41 And taking a translucent powder, you're
02:46 going to want to set your whole entire face with it
02:49 and make sure to pack it in the areas that you highlighted.
02:52 Now, I'm taking bronzer.
02:58 And I'm going to warm up my face and contour my forehead.
03:01 And again, I'm using reference pictures,
03:03 so I can't tell you exactly how I'm contouring my forehead.
03:08 Sorry about it.
03:13 And using a big, fluffy brush, blend, blend, blend away.
03:17 Don't forget to blend.
03:18 And Selena's cheek contour was very wide and triangular.
03:25 So starting from my temple, where
03:28 I left off from the contouring, I'm
03:30 going to bring that down and make a triangular shape.
03:34 And you could use your finger to help make
03:42 the line a little more neat, I guess.
03:45 That's what I do.
03:47 And then, go back with your fluffy brush
03:49 and blend it away, because I see a lot of girls that
03:52 don't blend after they contour.
03:54 No tea, no shade, no pink lemonade, girl.
03:57 Mm-mm.
03:59 And now, with an even darker bronzer,
04:01 I'm just going to push the contour colors even further.
04:05 And then, after you're done with that,
04:07 you're going to want to blend, blend, blend.
04:10 The key to contouring is blending.
04:13 Here's a little trick that I use to cut the contour.
04:19 I just take my finger and I just swipe it.
04:21 And let's not forget to contour our jawline.
04:27 Selena had a very defined jaw.
04:29 Next, I'm taking a primer and I'm
04:34 priming all over my lid, all the way up to the brow bone.
04:37 And then, I'm taking a very light beige, almost white.
04:40 I shadow and placing that all over my lid,
04:43 all the way up to the brow bone.
04:45 Then, I'm going to take a light brown eyeshadow
04:48 and I'm going to make a V shape in the corner of my eye.
04:53 And you do not want to go past the front part of your brow.
04:59 Next, you're going to want to blend it out,
05:01 like super blend it out, because Selena
05:03 looked like she hardly ever wore any eye shadow.
05:06 And you're not going to want to go above your crease,
05:08 because you want to keep your brow bone really highlighted.
05:11 And here's a close up, so you can
05:15 see the difference between both eyes after you blend them.
05:19 Now, it's time for eyeliner.
05:21 First things first, you're going to want to hope and pray
05:23 that you don't mess up, like I already did.
05:25 JK.
05:26 But first, you're going to want to start off
05:28 from the inner corner and you're going
05:30 to drag the line all the way across to the outer corner.
05:33 You're going to make sure it's very skinny,
05:35 because Selena's eyeliner was not that thick, you know?
05:40 And then you're just going to give a little wing,
05:42 like a little baby wing.
05:43 And Selena had those very Native American almond eyes,
05:51 which I also kind of have.
05:53 So to enhance that, I will be putting the same eyeshadow
05:56 that we used on the lid on the under eye
05:59 and will not be putting any mascara on the bottom lash.
06:05 And I'll be using a very rosy blush,
06:08 and I'll be putting that on the high parts of my cheekbone
06:12 and even on the temples.
06:13 Next, I'm just taking a highlighter
06:20 and I'm just going over the places
06:22 that I already highlighted.
06:23 Now, on to the lips.
06:30 I'm taking a red lip liner and just lining my natural lips,
06:33 because I found that my lip shape are
06:36 very similar to Selena's lips.
06:39 To get the perfect shade of red that Selena wears,
06:41 I'm taking a dark red and just lining
06:44 the outer part of my lips.
06:47 And then I'm going in with a brighter red
06:53 and just filling the rest of my lips in.
06:55 So my camera died while I was making that little curly Q
07:02 whatever at the top.
07:05 But yeah, so now I'm just adding some baby lashes,
07:07 because drag lashes were too dramatic for the look.
07:12 And I totally forgot about my nose contour,
07:15 so I'm just contouring my nose and looking
07:18 at reference pictures.
07:19 And from what I could tell, Selena's nose
07:21 goes from a little skinny to a little bit wide
07:24 towards the end of her nose.
07:26 So I'm just doing that.
07:30 And then blend it out, and that's it for the look.
