00:00 Hi guys! Tonight is my wrap party for the season 5 finale of Pretty Little Liars!
00:04 And if Emily were going to this event tonight, she'd probably have a little bit more of a toned down look.
00:09 Maybe a different outfit.
00:10 And tonight I decided I want to do something a little bit more dramatic.
00:25 So I'm going to start your smoky eye with kind of a neutral, soft brown.
00:30 Right in your crease.
00:32 This one's really firm, so this is going to deposit the color a lot heavier.
00:39 Also fits perfectly just right underneath the eye.
00:41 Make sure that it connects in the corner, all the way across.
00:44 And I'm going to highlight your inner corner, and just a touch in the center of the lid.
00:48 Keep the drama on the outside of the eye.
00:50 Keep the drama out.
00:52 Or just out. Just keep it out.
00:55 We're going to go black on the inside, to a chocolate brown, to a light brown.
00:58 So it's going to give you that own gradient.
01:00 A gradient.
01:01 Yes.
01:01 When you're doing a smoky, it's important to connect the shadows.
01:04 Okay, so we've got the outer corner smoky.
01:07 I know you like your inner crease defined as well.
01:11 So I'm going to take that same color and I'm going to drag it in.
01:13 All the way in and really sharpen that.
01:15 Three different spots where you are putting the black liner.
01:18 One, on your lower waterline, as we call it.
01:21 Two, on the top underneath your lash line.
01:24 And then three, actually on your eyelid, which is where most people do it.
01:28 Yes.
01:29 Try and use waterproof.
01:30 That way you don't have to worry about your makeup smudging.
01:33 This makeup is not going anywhere.
01:35 Until I want to wash it off.
01:36 That's when I'm like, "Carleen!"
01:38 Angle it however I want the eye angled.
01:43 And then you can just bring it in and connect it.
01:50 So you want to take your tweezers, holding the lash by three quarters.
01:54 And then you just want to place it on and just kind of press it.
01:57 Being very careful, people.
01:59 With your tweezers, just to make sure that the glue and the lash are connecting to your eyelid.
02:05 Don't glue it to your lashes.
02:06 It will be a very painful removal.
02:08 Trust me, I know.
02:09 One of the last steps for the eye is the mascara.
02:13 So I like to do it in three sections, starting from the bottom and working my way up to the outer corners.
02:19 And the best way to apply this is by smiling.
02:21 I'm going to be using everybody's favorite NARS Orgasm Blush.
02:25 With the liner, frame your lips and give it that definition.
02:30 And then blend it in with your lip color.
02:36 And one of the other tips that I learned was to do it a little bit lighter in the middle part.
02:39 To kind of give it a thicker look.
02:41 You can even take kind of like a little highlight color.
02:44 This is like a little peachy gold shimmer.
02:46 Just kind of do it right on the little cupid's bow and a quick little highlight down the nose.
02:50 This really gives you that kind of like bronzy glow.
02:54 Extra glow.
02:55 So I'm actually applying it with a wet beauty blender.
02:57 I'm going to dab it off first.
02:59 And then we're going to just press it right onto the cheekbones.
