00:05 Hey, guys.
00:09 I'm back with another video for you today.
00:11 And I am just doing a little overview of my Ipsy bag
00:15 I got this month, the July Ipsy bag.
00:18 Just an overview of the products I got in there.
00:20 And then I'm doing a little tutorial
00:22 with two of the products, the eyeshadow quad and the lipstick.
00:26 So yeah, as you can see, the makeup look itself
00:28 is really summery.
00:30 There's nice pops of color in there.
00:32 I will leave in the description below at which time
00:34 you can fast forward to if you just
00:36 want to see the makeup look.
00:38 And yeah, that is pretty much it.
00:40 So if you would like to see what I got in my Ipsy bag
00:42 this month or this makeup tutorial,
00:44 then please keep watching.
00:46 All right, so starting with the overview of the products.
00:49 First off, the Ipsy bag this month
00:52 came in this really cute bag.
00:54 It's a little smaller than usual,
00:56 but I love the design of it.
00:57 It's so summery, and I feel you could use it
01:00 as a little wallet.
01:02 And I feel like you could use it to carry your stuff when
01:05 you go out.
01:06 And first off, you get a face wash.
01:09 It's called Vyvazonti, which I've never heard of before.
01:13 And it's brighten up enzymatic face rejuvenator.
01:18 It's an exfoliating cleanser enriched with papaya,
01:21 microcrystals, and aloe.
01:24 I honestly have not used it yet, but I've
01:26 swatched it out on my hand.
01:28 And it's definitely exfoliating.
01:30 I would use it before you fake tan to prep your skin
01:32 so your skin's all nice and fresh, the dead cells are off.
01:35 One thing I like about Ipsy is a lot of the brands, first off,
01:38 I never heard of, so I can try new things.
01:41 But also, a lot of the brands use natural ingredients,
01:44 which is really nice.
01:45 There's this dry shampoo.
01:47 So this one's Eva, Eva, I think, NYC.
01:51 And it's just a little dry shampoo.
01:53 This one I did already use once, and I do really
01:56 like it.
01:57 It smells nice, first off.
01:58 It doesn't have that weird smell that some have.
02:01 And basically, I just let it sit for about 10 minutes,
02:04 and then I rubbed it with my hands.
02:06 And it did do a really good job.
02:07 It didn't leave a lot of residue and make
02:09 my hair look grayish, whitish, or anything like that.
02:12 And it did dry up my hair very good, naturally looking.
02:16 So the one brand I did hear of was Crown Brushes.
02:20 And they gave me a little cute pink tweezer from them.
02:24 And to be perfectly honest with you guys,
02:26 I've already misplaced it, which is bad for you guys,
02:29 because you can't actually see it.
02:31 But not so bad for me, because to be honest with you,
02:34 I didn't really like it.
02:37 When I tried to tweeze my brows with it,
02:39 it was just not really pulling out the little hairs.
02:42 It literally just couldn't grip onto them.
02:44 And the ones that it did get, it was hard to do it, so it hurt.
02:48 So I wasn't a huge fan of it.
02:50 But it could be maybe useful for putting on fake eyelashes,
02:53 because it was the two tongs.
02:56 They were a little bit wider.
02:58 I don't know if that helps with putting on fake eyelashes,
03:00 but yeah, so that's that.
03:02 And the last two products are going to be the ones
03:04 that I'm going to actually do a little tutorial on.
03:07 Here's this, Nika K New York.
03:10 All the colors are shimmer, and it's definitely
03:12 a really nice summery quad, with the blue, yellow, and the two
03:16 more neutral colors.
03:17 And last but not least, this looks really fun.
03:20 I love the packaging.
03:21 So it's Tease Cosmetics, and it's
03:24 called Read My Lips Lipstick.
03:26 So I guess that's what the line of these lipsticks
03:28 are called, which is pretty cute.
03:30 Unique satin matte finish, and highly pigmented color.
03:34 And this shade I got is killing me softly.
03:37 That's how it looks.
03:40 Nice light pink.
03:42 Not too new, not too crazy dark either.
03:45 So that's about it.
03:46 If you aren't subscribed to Ipsy's services,
03:48 I do highly suggest doing it, because it's $10,
03:51 including the shipping, a month.
03:53 You get the cute little bag, like I said,
03:55 a different one every month, and five different products.
03:57 And you take your little quiz, and they give you
04:00 products based off what they think would suit you.
04:03 And if you don't like it, you can always retake the quiz.
04:06 They also do it based off reviews.
04:07 So whenever you get your products sent,
04:10 you can do a little review on them,
04:11 and you get points for that also.
04:13 Once you get a certain amount of points,
04:15 you can get a free item, kind of like Sephora and stuff
04:19 like that.
04:20 And you also get points from people using their link
04:24 and signing up.
04:25 I'm going to put mine down below in the description box.
04:29 I just really like it, and I highly suggest it.
04:32 All right, so let's go ahead and get into the makeup tutorial.
04:35 All right, so as you can see, I've already done all my makeup,
04:38 besides what I'm doing with the two products,
04:41 even like the mascara, which is a little backwards.
04:44 But I didn't want to waste time with this video,
04:46 since I'm already doing the overview of the products.
04:49 So basically, the darker color is
04:50 going to be kind of like a transition color.
04:52 The lighter one is what I'm going to do on the lid.
04:56 The blue, I'm going to do kind of a cut crease with it.
04:59 And the yellow, just on the bottom, under the lash line.
05:03 OK, so the way I'm going to do this
05:05 is I'm going to do each step off camera on one eye,
05:08 so you guys can see how it's supposed to look.
05:11 And then do it with you guys on the other eye, so you can see.
05:15 Now, I already primed my eyes.
05:17 And we're starting with the transition color,
05:19 as you can see on this eye.
05:22 The transition color is going to be this darker brown color
05:25 right here.
05:27 And you're going to literally hold your brush vertically,
05:32 like this.
05:34 Because that way, the way it blends out--
05:36 and it's a transition color, so we're
05:38 going a little bit above the crease.
05:40 Because when it blends out, it's going to literally create
05:43 that cut crease line for you.
05:45 When you do this way, it kind of blurs everything out a little
05:48 more.
05:48 But since the brushes are ending right
05:50 where we want the cut crease, it's literally just
05:52 going to do the work for you.
05:53 MAC 217 brush.
05:58 But any lightly dense transition blending brush will work good.
06:03 The same thing, you want to hold it in the same angle,
06:07 vertically, and just begin working that into the crease
06:12 and blending it with that other shade.
06:15 Before we cut the crease, we want
06:21 to put on our lid color, because we
06:24 want to see exactly where that line is going to be
06:26 and make sure not to interfere with the lid color.
06:28 I'm using a pretty thin brush.
06:34 It's not as small as this one, like one
06:38 that you would use for eyeliner or something,
06:40 because it's just going to be harder to blend out.
06:43 So you want to try something more like this
06:45 when you're first starting out.
06:47 So that way you can blend it up a little bit better.
06:51 I'm starting in the lid about a third of the way.
06:57 And just very lightly start dragging it along the crease.
07:00 Once you have the precise line, you're
07:07 just going to drag the color upwards
07:11 so it's nice and blended into your upper crease colors.
07:15 Just going to blend everything out a little bit better.
07:18 And finally, I'm going to cut that crease a little bit more
07:21 precise.
07:22 So the other one I showed you that's for eyeliner,
07:24 I'm going to lightly go over the crease once more
07:27 with the blue with this brush.
07:36 All right, and then your upper lid is complete.
07:38 I'm going to take just a little small brush like this
07:42 and pick up that yellow.
07:45 And I'm going to spray it with Fix+ so it comes out
07:47 a bit more pigmented.
07:49 All right, so that's how it's going to look.
07:50 I did drag it down pretty low.
07:53 To finish up the eyeshadow, you're
07:58 just going to take your favorite highlighter,
08:00 and you're just going to swipe it on your brow bone
08:03 and in your inner corner.
08:05 And that's it for the eyes.
08:06 Now we just have to apply the lipstick.
08:08 So again, it's Tease Cosmetics Shade Killing Me Softly.
08:12 And the lipstick is very nice.
08:13 It applied really creamy.
08:15 And it's mostly matte, a little bit satin,
08:18 just like the packaging said.
08:20 I think both of these products are really good.
08:21 I would definitely use them again.
08:23 They're both really pigmented, and I'm really happy with it.
08:27 All right, guys, that completes the video.
