Pinky Promise! A Wearable Pink Makeup Tutorial

00:10 To begin, I'm starting off with my favorite moisturizer of all time to prep my skin for
00:16 makeup.
00:24 And this is optional, but I like to apply my coffee bean eye cream under my makeup as
00:28 well and I simply tap it in the same way as I would before bed.
00:32 Now get your Pandora ready and let's put on some makeup.
00:42 I'm using this really thin brow brush to fill in my eyebrows with hair like strokes of course,
00:48 and then I'm blending it all in for a more natural look.
00:59 I can't go on creating a radiant look like this without applying my luminous primer of
01:04 course, which is my favorite one from 100% Pure.
01:07 And I sometimes even wear this primer on days that I'm not wearing makeup at all.
01:17 I hope you're not tired of seeing this foundation just yet in my videos because I absolutely
01:21 love it as you can see, especially for Valentine's Day because it covers just enough but not
01:26 too much so that your skin looks as if it's naturally airbrushed.
01:30 And trust me, your date will not even know the difference.
01:33 After applying it with my fingers, I like to use my beauty blender for a seamless blend
01:37 and now I'm using my Shea Moisture color correcting system for a little more coverage on my problem
01:42 areas.
01:44 I've really been loving this Josie Moran Illuminizer and what I like to do is either apply it alone
01:49 on my highlighting areas or I simply blend it into my foundation for a slight glow all
01:54 over.
01:55 And I'm just so addicted to this product, I've been wearing it basically every time
01:58 I do my makeup.
02:05 Now to set my foundation, I'm applying this powder everywhere except right under my eyes
02:10 because I'll be concealing there later.
02:12 And I'm using this powder with a spilling brush for an airbrushed finish.
02:29 To prepare my eyes for eyeshadow, I'm using my Gabriel Cosmetics Eyeshadow Primer.
02:43 From my Shea Moisture palette, I'm starting with a blush instead of an eyeshadow actually.
02:48 Yup, a blush.
02:50 And I'm using it on my eyes to create a rosy base so that later I can create a rose gold
02:56 effect on my eyelids.
03:09 To add a little copper warmth, I'm using this eyeshadow to blend into my crease.
03:20 Now I'm taking this beautiful gold eyeshadow and with the same brush, I'm blending it into
03:25 my lid for that rose gold color I told you about earlier.
03:47 And to clean this all up, I'm using this matte eyeshadow from Shea Moisture to brighten up
04:01 my brow bone.
04:15 And we can now complete the eyes without a little light gold shimmer on the inner corner
04:19 to attract more attention to your eye shape.
04:25 Moving on to the face, I'm using my favorite concealer to conceal and highlight under my
04:29 eyes and I'm blending it in a triangular motion with my beauty blender.
04:53 I'm using a darker face powder to slightly blend on the sides of my nose to bring back
04:58 that definition I lose from using foundation.
05:01 And to set my concealer in place, I'm using this universal powder from Pacifica under
05:05 my eyes and the bridge of my nose.
05:21 And as my bronzer, I'm using this Shea Moisture Illuminating Powder in Havana Sunrise on my
05:26 cheekbones and on the temples of my forehead as well.
05:45 And although this eyeshadow may appear pink, it's actually a golden color that I always
05:50 use as my beautiful highlight on my cheekbones and my bridge of my nose.
05:55 I'm so obsessed with this color, you would not even know how obsessed I am with it.
06:05 Make sure to load up on mascara to enhance your lashes, but also make sure you don't
06:09 overdo it, at least not on Valentine's Day.
06:12 And here's my not so gracious mascara face, which I forgot I was filming so I went back
06:16 to the other face.
06:21 And a quick tip for removing mascara boo-boos is to let your mascara dry and then it easily
06:26 flicks off without smudging all of your work.
06:28 I promise.
06:34 And you all may know that I am not a lip gloss type of girl, but this pink gloss by Juice
06:38 Beauty is an exception because it's not annoying or disgusting to me.
06:42 So that means it's amazing because I love having it on.
06:50 But I also love my neutral lip liner because it's long lasting and it looks as if I'm wearing
06:54 nothing.
06:55 And that is why I wear this lip liner so much because you can never ever go wrong with it.
07:06 Today I'm using this lip and cheek balm to add slight color with a little bit of hydration
07:12 while still keeping a natural look.
