00:00 Hi everyone! So today I'm going to show you guys how to look like my favorite Disney princess
00:08 Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I love the fact that she has red hair and she's a mermaid.
00:13 I'm obsessed with mermaids and I feel like they're so magical. So if you guys want to
00:17 learn how to look like Ariel, then keep watching.
00:24 First you want to start off with your bare face and then you can apply makeup primer
00:28 and also sunscreen. I'm going to be doing a lot of photos outdoors today so I'm going
00:33 to apply this Coats SPF 40 sunscreen before I apply the makeup.
00:39 Oh hey Flounder! I guess Flounder wants to put on some makeup too. Next I'm going to
00:43 take a light liquid foundation since you guys all know that Ariel is pretty light skinned.
00:48 So I'm just going to apply that everywhere in my body and my face.
00:54 For the brows I'm going to make them nice and round, almost like half circles. And I
00:58 feel like this is a very common eyebrow shape for cartoon characters.
01:05 Her eyebrows are dark in the movie and red in pictures so I'll just give you guys an
01:09 option. I feel like the red matches the hair better so I'm just going to make my brows
01:13 red using a red lip liner.
01:18 The first eyeshadow is this beautiful eyeshadow that just screams mermaid. And I'm going to
01:22 apply this with a flat brush generously on my eyelids.
01:29 Next I'm going to take Jessi's Girls Pure Pigment eyeshadow in brown and I just feel
01:33 like brown eyeshadows are so versatile and I love using them to contour and give my eyes
01:38 more definition.
01:43 Then I'm going to apply that same brown on my lower lash line and this just helps my
01:46 eyes look a lot wider.
01:49 Ariel is so Ariel's color so I'm taking this sparkly purple eyeshadow and applying that
01:54 beside the sea green and blending it above my crease.
01:59 Since Ariel's makeup is pretty natural I wanted to make it more fun by using colors that were
02:03 inspired by her.
02:07 Then I'm going to go in with the purple eyeshadow on my lower lash line. Oh, was that Sebastian?
02:16 If you guys are a fan of more dramatic eye makeup then feel free to use a black eyeshadow
02:20 below the purple. I like to do this because it adds depth and makes my small eyes look
02:25 really big. Also line the lower lash line with the black eyeshadow.
02:32 There is no better way to dazzle your eyes than with glitter so I'm going to take this
02:35 light green glitter and pack it on above the green eyeshadow.
02:42 Now to outline my eyes I'm going to use this black Bella Pera eyeliner and I'm going to
02:46 drag that on my upper lash line and then create a nice wing on the corner.
02:52 I also decided to add a hint of bronze on my inner eye corners and I just thought that
02:56 looked really pretty there.
03:01 If you're obsessed with false lashes like me then now is the time to glue them on.
03:07 Applying a white eyeliner on your waterline is a must every time you want to make your
03:11 eyes bigger for a character.
03:14 I want my cheeks to look like they're naturally blushing so I'm going to take this pink blush
03:18 and apply that on the apples of my cheeks.
03:24 To copy Ariel's lips I'm going to take a red lip liner that matches my wig and then I'm
03:29 going to round my cupid's bow, outline the lip shape and fill it in.
03:35 Also quick tip, if you want your lip colors to stay on for a long time you can use a lip
03:39 primer pencil like this one by Urban Decay.
03:46 And finally I'm going to take a red lipstick and apply it over the lip liner so it hydrates
03:50 my lips and also makes the color richer.
03:55 Now I'm going to show you guys how you can style the wig.
03:58 So it's really simple, all you need to do is just create a nice poof on the forehead.
04:03 For this I'm going to curl the hair in and you can also tease it to add more volume and
04:07 then secure it with bobby pins.
04:12 Ariel also wears a flower on the side of her head so put on a purple flower and I've seen
04:16 a lot of people use starfish for this as well.
04:21 On the nails I decided to go with a popular princess color pink and this one is Damsel
