First Impression Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation

00:00 Hey guys, it's Em, welcome back to my channel. Today's video is going to be a first impression on the Bourjois LT Mix Serum Foundation.
00:07 I have the shade 52, which is Vanilla, and I will show you how it goes.
00:11 So I thought today was the perfect day to try out my Bourjois LT Mix Serum because I do have a few imperfections, so what better day to try and see the coverage.
00:22 So I will be applying it as I usually do with a beauty blender. It's not really a beauty blender, but you know what I mean, a sponge.
00:28 So I will see how the coverage is on half my face, and we will see how it goes.
00:32 By the way, I have the shade 52, I think it's Vanilla, and it matches me, so that's good.
00:46 The coverage seems to be actually really good.
00:52 It smells like oranges and just smells delicious. That's good too.
00:59 So I'm not sure if you're going to be able to tell on camera, but in person there is a good coverage. It's not like 100% full coverage, but I would say light to medium.
01:08 It looks extremely natural, which I really, really love.
01:12 It literally looks like I'm not wearing foundation, so I really like that.
01:17 I'm going to try to apply a second coat to see if it covers a little bit more, and then I'm going to do the rest of my face.
01:22 Okay, so I feel like the second coat didn't cover that much more, so I wouldn't call it a buildable foundation, but it still looked natural, which is a big plus.
01:36 So now I'm just going to do the other side of my face and see the final result.
01:45 So now I have it on both sides, and I have to say I really love the finish. Super natural, a little bit glowy.
01:51 It doesn't cover everything, but I'm fine with that usually. I have a few pimples that I might just cover a little bit.
01:56 But it looks super natural, smells nice, it feels nice on the skin. I barely feel it.
02:01 But I have to say, Color 52 might be a little dark for me. I'm sure on camera you're going to be able to tell.
02:07 It looks way worse on camera than in person. My chest is at the widest. I have zero self-tanner.
02:14 It's a little bit dark, so this would probably be good when I have a little bit of self-tanner.
02:19 But I really seem to like it for now.
02:23 Okay, so I will go and do the rest of my makeup, and I will update you on if my makeup goes on well over it or not.
02:30 And I will update you also at the end of the day to let you know if it lasted, because it's supposed to last 16 hours.
02:35 And right now it's super early in the morning. I'm not even sure if the lighting is going to be good.
02:39 Hopefully it is decent. So I will update you also at the end of the day.
02:43 So I applied the rest of my makeup, and I have to say I really like it.
02:47 It looks super natural, it looks like skin. It did give me a good enough coverage.
02:53 My makeup went super well over it, like no issue whatsoever.
02:56 So as of now I'm really impressed, but I will update you at the end of the day.
03:00 It's now around 8 o'clock at night. I've been wearing this foundation for almost 12 hours.
03:06 And I have to say it still looks really, really nice. It didn't crease too much.
03:09 A little bit around my nose, but I didn't wear any primer, which I would usually do, so that would probably prevent that.
03:15 Other than that, I feel like it looks still really natural. It didn't like go away.
03:20 My blush is still there, so it didn't like disappear.
03:23 But overall I feel like it still looks really good. Not as good as in the beginning of the day, but like I said,
03:29 I didn't wear any powder nor primer. So just considering that, I'm really happy with the result.
03:35 Also, it didn't oxidize either, which is still really good. So as of now, I think I really like it.
03:39 I would probably let you know in a favorite video if I still love it at that point or in the comment or description box.
03:44 But as of now, I think I found a new favorite foundation. Maybe. We will see.
