00:05 Coffee break with me. Woo! Hi guys!
00:07 Today I'm back with a review and, okay, if you are new to my channel you're like,
00:15 "Crazy girl, why are you so hyper?" I'm not hyper, I just get really happy about
00:21 things. There's a difference. I don't need medication. So today I am back and I'm
00:26 excited because I have a colorful review for you guys. I recently discovered a fantastic,
00:33 amazing, colorful eyeshadow brand and I didn't discover it on my own. I'm not going to take
00:39 all the credit. I actually heard Bailey B talking about it and Bailey B has a YouTube
00:44 channel which I will list in the description box below. Let me tell you a little bit about
00:48 Bailey B. Bailey is, she basically tells you everything that I tell you except without
00:56 all the jibber jabber, long winded, long conversations that I have with you guys. So if you're more
01:03 of a person that's in a hurry and like people to get to the point, you will love Bailey
01:09 because she is graceful and eloquent and articulate and she will get to the point and she will
01:16 literally break down a product in a minute. Yes, she has 60 second reviews. So I aspire
01:23 to one day be a 60 second reviewer. No I don't. I love talking to you guys. But she was talking
01:31 about these eyeshadows and I was like, "That seems like something that I need in my life."
01:38 So I am talking to you guys about the ColourPop eyeshadows or ColourPop Pots. These are the
01:46 most unique product. No, not the most unique. These are one of the most unique products
01:55 that I have seen on the beauty market. These are like fluffy, creamy eyeshadows. Normally
02:02 with creamy eyeshadows I use them just as bases because I don't feel like it's easy
02:10 to blend a cream product with my regular eye brushes. You know I have like four eye brushes
02:15 that I use to do my eyeshadow look. So typically I just use those as bases because I use my
02:20 finger and then I move on with my day. But these are so peculiar. Let me first start
02:26 off by telling you that ColourPop is a US brand. It's made in the USA. It's from California.
02:33 Each of these eyeshadows is $5 so it's wallet friendly. And the best part is they do not
02:39 test on animals. So they even joke about how they only test on humans and humans are their
02:43 guinea pigs. So it's kind of cute. It's a really fun brand. It's a very young brand.
02:48 I love the principle behind their business. So when I saw Bailey B talking about it I
02:52 was like, "Oh, I need to get all over this." The first thing that I want to share with
02:55 you guys is how their items come. When I was like, "I'm going to order 12 eyeshadows in
03:01 the mail and they're single pots," those are going to arrive a wreck. But no, my friends,
03:07 they actually arrive in this amazing box with like 37 layers of foam. You see all this white
03:19 on the edges? All of that is padding. Literally nothing will break in here, not even your
03:25 heart. Everything is packaged incredibly well. It's amazing. They handwrite a note in your
03:32 box. And I'm telling you this, I'm telling you that they handwrite you a note because
03:37 I didn't get sent these products as a PR sample. I'm not affiliated with them. I went on the
03:42 site, I ordered them, they have no idea who I am, and they handwrote me a note. So everyone
03:49 is special for them. Not to mention, their product comes with a postcard that tells you
03:54 the best tips and tricks on how to apply their products. Because their product is so unique,
04:00 you kind of want a CliffsNotes version or a cheat sheet on how to be successful using
04:06 their product. So it tells you how to blend them, how to get the maximum coverage, all
04:12 of that is on here. It's just amazing. It's just a great product. So what I'm going to
04:16 do with you guys, I'm going to show you kind of from start to finish how it comes, what
04:21 it looks like, a couple swatches, and show you a close up of my look, which is the colors,
04:27 which I'm wearing two of the colors that I will be talking to you guys about. So I'm
04:32 going to bring you guys in closer. Welcome to my face. Do you see that one? That was
04:36 an extra special one because I always forget. So first things first, they come in a really
04:41 beautiful sturdy box. Nothing is going to break. Although it is a soft product, it is
04:47 kind of like the L'Oreal infallibles where they're soft but they can still break. I haven't
04:54 tried breaking one of these, but I'm pretty sure it could happen. On their website, they
04:57 have several types of super shock shadows, which is what they're called. They're supposed
05:01 to be highly pigmented, highly glittery, highly in your face, wake up your mama type of product.
05:08 So they are called super shock shadows and they come in this really pretty little cardboard
05:12 box. So every one is individually wrapped and then each of the items comes in a pot.
05:18 These products, if I wanted to describe the texture to you guys, it's kind of a combination
05:23 between the texture of a L'Oreal infallible shadow. You guys know these that are really,
05:30 really rich and pigmented, how they come with this stopper. The texture is similar to this.
05:36 If the L'Oreal infallible and a Maybelline bouncy blush had a baby, that's the texture
05:42 of these shadows. If you push your finger in too hard, it will sink in, but it's not
05:47 wet. Does that make sense? It's almost like a really soft play-doh, like an aerated fluffy
05:54 play-doh. That's kind of what it feels like. And then the pots, unlike most pots that you
06:00 twist off the cap and the cap is shallow and then the base is thick, the cap on these is
06:06 wide. Do you guys see how deep the cap goes in? And these are special lids to prevent
06:12 the product from drying. These eyeshadows will dry out and they will die, basically.
06:18 So you don't want to leave them open. You want to tightly put on that lid after you're
06:24 done using them. And like I always tell you guys, don't do your makeup under the fan,
06:29 open window, under a vent, because it will dry out the product. So they do come with
06:33 a screw-on cap. And then the product is inside. The product inside is so, it's like majestic
06:40 unicorn powders all put in a little tiny pot. The first one that I want to show you guys
06:47 is called Juicer. And this is just a really bright yellow color. Look at that. That's
06:53 amazing. I was almost hesitant to film this video because I was like, every time I show
06:57 them the shadow, it's going to dry out just a little bit and then it's going to be that
07:00 closer to being unusable. And I was like, Dani, sacrifice yourself for Coffee Break
07:05 Research purposes. So that is the yellow one. I will show you guys some swatches in a minute,
07:10 but in a minute so I don't get all dirty. The second one is one of the ones that I'm
07:15 wearing today and this is called Sour. And this is a really beautiful lime green color.
07:21 The color that you see in the pot is the color that will show up on your lid. And I'm not
07:27 talking about NYX white base in milk. No, this is not a, it needs a white base to look
07:34 neon. Nope. All you need to do is dip your finger into this product and put it on and
07:38 it shows up the exact same color that's in the pot. This isn't one of those products
07:43 that requires an extra step, a white primer, a white base, no siree. Did you see how passionate
07:50 I got there for a second? I forgot to tell you the name. This is Sunny's and this is
07:53 an orange color. You can tell how it looks like when it's brand new. I haven't used this
07:58 one yet. I'm kind of excited because, not to toot my own horn, but I like how I look
08:05 in orange shadows. This other one is called Cheeky and this is just a really beautiful
08:10 peach. I always fall for the peach shadow. Always. I got it at Inglot when I went to
08:15 IMATS. I got it, that single from Urban Decay, what's that called? Love? Struck? No. I'm
08:23 always talking about it. This one is called Rex and this is a blue and purple duo chrome.
08:30 Can you see that magicness? Yeah, I said magicness. Can you see that? Isn't that amazing? This
08:38 is so beautiful. Some of them have micro glitter, some of them are high metallics, others have
08:45 regular glitter. None of them are chunky or uncomfortable. This one is called Dare and
08:50 this is just a bright metallic purple. I don't know why, but I think my friend Sammy Sam
08:55 Sam would like this color. She probably looks good in purple. That's probably why. This
09:01 next one I'm wearing on my lid and this is Ibiza. Ibiza? Ibiza? You know what I'm talking
09:07 about. Do you see those nail marks in there? See what I'm talking about? How soft it is?
09:12 That's what I mean. Obviously this is my favorite color. Then, obviously, I couldn't go without
09:19 a mint and this color is called Chipper. Look at that. How beautiful is that color? I keep
09:25 looking this way because you guys know I don't have a viewfinder, so I'm trying to see my
09:29 reflection in the mirror to see if I'm actually showing you the product because I might be
09:33 like ... This color over here is ... You know what I mean?
09:39 Another color is called Empire and that is just a beautiful emerald green. Oh my God,
09:46 I can't wait to use this in the fall. I'm going to be like, "Look at my emerald green
09:49 eyes." Then we have Kimono. This is the one that disappointed me. Not disappointed me.
09:56 If I had to pick one that disappointed me, it would be this one. Even though it's not
10:03 a bad shadow, it doesn't show up as bright as it looks in the pot. This is the only one
10:07 that I was like, "Meh." It didn't really work as well. Kimono, just a really pretty, almost
10:13 like electric violet blue, sort of. This one, if you like gold shadows, you guys, get lucky.
10:20 That's the name. The color that it shows up here, it shows up on your eyes. It looks like
10:28 a layer of thick, metallic, liquid gold on your eyelid. It's amazing. Then the last one
10:36 is called Mermaid Kiss. Yes, it's a tie-dye one. Here is a close-up of the swatches. You
10:43 guys can see how beautiful the colors are. I tried to put them in color order, but I'm
10:51 very good at that, obviously. You can see how some of them are glittery, others are
10:57 metallic. Look at that gold that I told you guys. Isn't that amazing? Then we have the
11:03 darker colors over here. This is that blue that I was telling you, kimono. You see how
11:07 it's more of a lighter blue than it looks in the pot? In the pot, it looks almost like
11:11 an electric navy. Here, it's okay. Then this is a black with purple and blue duochrome.
11:18 It's crazy. This terrible clip of my swatches is not doing it justice whatsoever, but they
11:26 are so amazing. Welcome to my super face. I wanted to bring you guys as close as possible
11:33 so I could show you the texture of these shadows. I'm going to show you guys with my favorite
11:40 color, this turquoise. Just so you could see, you see how my fingerprint stays in the shadow?
11:47 It's super soft, very pigmented. Like I told you guys, no white base. Because it's so moist
11:56 and soft and delicate, you want to make sure that you take that lid and you put it on really,
12:01 really well. I mean, make sure that it's on there tight because you don't want these majestic,
12:07 beautiful, beautiful unicorn babies to dry out. That is it for this review. I really
12:12 hope you guys enjoyed it. If you are a colorful shadow lover like me, I really think you guys
12:17 will like these Super Shock Shadows from ColourPop. I will link their online, I guess store. They're
12:25 only available online, I think. I'll link their blog and their online store and all
12:29 that information will be listed in the description box. Again, these are $5 shadows. It might
12:34 be a cool, it might be an affordable option if you're kind of getting into colorfuls or
12:41 brights and you're like, "Well, summer's the perfect time. Maybe I'll start doing a pop
12:45 of color in the lower lash line." It is a $5 product. It doesn't crease. It dries. You
12:52 can layer the color. It's such a great product. I am completely in love, so don't be surprised
12:58 if for the next three months all of my looks are crazy colorful. Again, all of that information
13:04 will be listed in the description box below along with my nail color, my shirt, my earrings,
13:08 all that stuff will be listed in the description box below. As always, if you guys found this
13:12 video useful, entertaining, or learned something, please give me a thumbs up or subscribe if
13:16 you haven't already. Until next time, this copy break is over. Bye, guys.
13:19 Bye guys!
