00:00 Hey everyone, welcome back to my video.
00:07 Today I'm doing this spring makeup tutorial because yesterday was the first day of spring
00:15 so me and a few other girls decided to do a big collaboration and we're all doing different
00:24 kind of tutorials to with spring.
00:25 There's makeup tutorials, there's nail tutorials.
00:28 I'm pretty sure there will be some skin care routines as well.
00:32 I'm not 100% sure but every single one of them will be linked down below.
00:38 So this is what I came up with.
00:40 I kind of went with a glowy kind of base.
00:44 Overall you can see all that glow going on there because I don't know, now that spring
00:49 has come in I feel like I'm just like, yes, highlighter everywhere.
00:52 I don't know.
00:54 It's just, you know, winter, you're dull, your skin's kind of dull and when spring comes
01:00 I just like to take out all the bright colours.
01:02 Not really with this top but you know, I don't really own any bright clothes and I really
01:06 need to go shopping to buy some new spring/summer clothes anyway.
01:11 But yeah, I just kind of came up with this look here.
01:18 I also did something that I never actually did before but I really like.
01:23 It is I applied stuff to my top eyelid and kept the bottom part totally free.
01:30 There's no mascara on my bottom lashes, there's no eyeshadow under there, nothing, just concealer
01:35 and whatever powder I used to set it.
01:37 So I really like how that turned out as well.
01:39 I thought it really kind of opened up the eyes and kind of just brightened the whole
01:43 look because I really, really wanted to go with a nice bright look and kind of, you know,
01:49 a lot of bronzer, bit of blush, a lot of highlighter.
01:52 I don't know if you can see that, I even have my eyelid highlighted.
01:56 So yes, I'm going to stop the rambling and I'm going to get started with the tutorial.

02:02 Okay, so to start off this look I'm going to be taking the L'Oreal Lumier Magique primer
02:07 to prime my face.
02:10 This will just give you a really kind of glowy base.
02:17 Okay, next I am going to take a bit of Max Fix Plus because my skin is really dry at
02:29 the moment so anything that will add a bit of moisture to my skin I'm going to use.
02:34 You can skip this step if you want but I'm just showing you every single step that I'm
02:40 doing.
02:41 Okay, and once that has kind of set in, you're going to move on to foundation.
02:47 The foundation I'm going to be using is the L'Oreal Lumier Magique Light Infusing Foundation.
02:54 This is basically the True Match foundation except this one's more glowy and I think it's
02:59 more water based.
03:01 So this one's going to be a lot better for dry skin but the True Match will be better
03:06 if you have oily skin.
03:08 So I'm going to apply that with a damp beauty blender.
03:12 I have it in the shade W3 because I fake tan but I'm kind of pale at the moment.
03:19 I need to top up my tans so this could be a bit dark but we're just going to try our
03:24 best to make it work.
03:26 So I'm just kind of dabbing dots all over my face and then I'm going to be blending
03:32 it in with the beauty blender.
03:34 You can see even when I put a dot on my face it kind of starts to run down because it's
03:39 very water based which is going to be amazing for my very dry skin at the moment.
03:45 So I'm just going to be blending that in.
03:46 I'm going to be using a damp beauty blender.

07:08 I'm also going to take this powder and apply it into my crease.
07:14 You can use this or the bronzer, it doesn't really matter, but it will just save you taking
07:18 out an eyeshadow.
07:19 I'm just going to kind of define my crease a bit with the powder.
07:25 As I said, you can use the bronzer for that or the powder, it doesn't really matter.
07:40 I just had that in my hand so I used that.
07:42 What we're going to do is we're going to leave the bottom lash line totally bare, so don't
07:46 apply any colour there.
07:47 Next, I'm going to take the Sleek and Natural palette and I'm going to take this colour
07:53 here on the end.
07:55 It's just a really nice, shimmery colour.
07:57 I'm just going to use my baby finger and I'm going to apply that on the lid to give us
08:02 a nice glow there.
08:04 Once you did that, you're going to move on to the wing.
08:17 Now, I'm really excited about doing this because what I'm going to do is I'm going to do a
08:21 nice, dramatic kind of wing on the top and I'm going to leave the bottom totally bare.
08:27 I'm not going to put any eyeshadow on the bottom lash line, I'm not going to put any
08:30 mascara and I never, ever, ever have done this before.
08:33 I always have something on the bottom, whether it be eyeshadow or mascara.
08:37 So, I thought this would be nice for this spring look because we're going to have such
08:41 a glowy skin and this will really bring up and open our eyes.
08:44 We have a nice, glowy eyelid.
08:46 So, you know, I don't know.
08:47 I'm hoping it will all tie together nicely.
08:49 So, I'm going to be using the Zoe 5312 Detail Liner Brush to apply my gel liner and I'm
08:58 using the Barry Ann Waterproof Gel Eyeliner as well.
09:01 So, I'm starting by just flicking it outwards and then meeting that line and pulling it
09:07 inwards.
09:08 Next, I'm going to coat my top lashes and just remembering not to go near the bottom
09:33 at all.
09:34 I'm going to be using the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara for this.
09:38 Just use any old mascara.
09:39 I'm going to be applying nice falsies anyway.
09:42 So, I was going to apply false lashes but this mascara actually is really good and really
09:58 just complements my lashes really well because lately, like, my lashes have been looking
10:02 really short and stumpy but, you know, this mascara did the trick so I actually don't
10:09 know if I should apply lashes or not.
10:12 Okay, so I think I'm just going to leave it and not bother applying any lashes, you
10:17 know, because this is going to be more quick for you guys who are kind of in a rush if
10:20 you want to wear this look to work or school or wherever you're going.
10:24 So, you can apply lashes, of course, if you want but I'm not going to bother because
10:29 this mascara kind of did the trick anyway.
10:32 So, next I'm going to move on to blush and the blush I'm going to be using is one by
10:39 Fuchsia again.
10:42 It's just this really nice kind of peachy, pinky blush.
10:45 I think it's perfect for spring and I'm going to use the Soavea 127 Luxe Sheer Cheek Brush.
10:52 And I'm just going to blend it in with that big powder brush we used.
11:06 And then I'm going to move on to highlighter and I'm going to also use a highlighter by
11:11 Fuchsia because this is like probably my favourite highlighter ever.
11:14 This is the Golden Glow Highlighter in 4F01 and I'm just going to apply this to the tops
11:24 of my cheekbones first.
11:26 So, I don't know if this is coming up on camera but it's such a beautiful highlight, so pigmented.
11:32 I'm going to kind of just bring it up ever so slightly up to kind of my temples just
11:38 a bit.
11:40 And then I'm just going to take the Beauty Blender again and just kind of go over everything
11:55 just to kind of blend everything in so we don't have any harsh lines.
11:59 Okay, next I'm going to move on to lips and for the lips I'm going to use this NYC Intense
12:04 Lip Colour.
12:05 It's just a lip crayon.
12:06 It is in the colour 050 Park Slope Peach.
12:12 Strange name but you can see it there.
12:14 It's just a gorgeous kind of peachy orangey colour.
12:18 I think this colour is perfect for spring and it's kind of a sheer.
12:21 It's sheer enough, like it's not going to come out really intense I don't think anyway.
12:25 So, it's really easy just to top up during the day.
12:28 And then finally to finish off the look I am going to just apply a bit of Max Fix Plus
12:44 all over my face again.
12:45 This will just kind of bring out the glowiness and all that stuff.
