00:00 Makeup artist Jenna Anton and I'm here today with Candice Swanepoel.
00:04 And we're here today to show you how to recreate the look from the VS Fantasies campaign.
00:11 In this particular shot, Candice is looking very seductive with a beautiful pink lip and
00:16 a bronzy, smoky eye.
00:18 So the first step in recreating any makeup look is to make sure to even out your skin
00:22 tone.
00:23 When picking the perfect color for you, pick three colors that you think might work for
00:29 your skin tone.
00:30 Put a little bit on the back of your hand and just do a quick swipe right along the
00:34 jawbone.
00:35 Whichever one disappears, that's the color for you.
00:38 Let's contour with Deep, the Victoria Secret tinted moisturizer.
00:42 You can use a brush, a sponge, your finger, whatever you're comfortable with.
00:46 And when contouring, you just want to think about where the sun naturally hits the face,
00:50 which is going to be the temples of the forehead, right along the bottom of the cheekbones,
00:55 and don't forget the neck.
00:58 You can also hit a little bit of the bottom of the chin.
01:02 And you want to do this before you do your regular tinted moisturizer.
01:05 This just helps give depth to the face.
01:08 It's also a great way to really warm up the skin tone.
01:11 So once we finish contouring, you're going to take her color, which is medium, and apply
01:14 it to the middle of the forehead, down the nose, along the cheek area.
01:21 Pretty much a reverse triangle, just to kind of brighten up the middle of the face.
01:29 So the next step after even out the skin tone is to do concealer.
01:32 This is a great palette.
01:34 It's got light, medium, and dark.
01:36 The green one, if you have a pimple, this will totally neutralize the red, and then
01:39 you put your regular skin tone right after it.
01:41 And if you have any sort of dark spots, this red color is really great at evening out dark
01:45 spots.
01:46 I like to use the back of my hand, just so I don't put too much product directly on the
01:49 skin.
01:50 A lot of times when using an oil-free concealer, if you go directly from the palette to the
01:54 skin, they drag, they go on very heavy.
01:57 So if you put a little bit on the back of your hand, it kind of melts, and then it makes
02:00 for a really easy application.
02:10 It's now time to move on to the eyes.
02:12 I've chosen In Between the Sheets, which is a really beautiful bronze color.
02:16 Take your brush, dip it right into your color.
02:20 Starting on the outer corners of the eyes, you just want to pat it and work your way
02:25 in.
02:26 I think this is a really beautiful color on blue eyes.
02:31 And I feel like a lot of women have the misconception that if you have blue eyes, you should stick
02:34 to blues and greens, and if you have browns, you should stick to the browns.
02:37 But I believe...
02:38 It's the opposite, I think.
02:39 Yes, absolutely.
02:40 When you have a contrast behind there, it really gives you that chance to make the eye
02:44 color pop.
02:45 So you just open your eye, having that bronzy backdrop, just the blue really jumps out at
02:50 you.
02:51 Again, just start on the outer corner, just blend it kind of three quarters of the way
02:56 in.
02:57 And we're going to just drag the same color right onto the bottom lash line, about three
03:02 quarters of the way in.
03:03 They look so pretty.
03:11 The next step is to highlight the inner corners of the eye, and we've chosen Sparkle, which
03:17 is this really beautiful gold color.
03:19 You can use a brush or your fingers.
03:21 You just want to take it, and you just want to pop the color right on the inner corners
03:26 of the eyes.
03:27 And that just really makes the eyes just pop out at you.
03:30 We're also going to take it and put it on the inner corner of the upper lid.
03:37 And blend it right in between the sheets.
03:43 We're going to finish off this look with mascara.
03:45 BS Makeup has great formulas for mascara.
03:47 They have the Voluptuous Volume, Triple Drama, High Definition.
03:51 So whatever kind of look you're looking for for your lashes, they have it.
03:55 I think we're going to use the Voluptuous Volume today.
03:59 I love the brush on this.
04:01 All you need is one coat.
04:02 You want to separate the lashes as you're applying the mascara.
04:09 So VS has a great collection of lip liners ranging in all sorts of colors, but we're
04:16 going to use Candice's favorite color today, which is--
04:19 Nude.
04:20 Nude.
04:21 You'll never see her without this color.
04:22 So you say, why do you need a lip liner?
04:24 I think it just really helps to even out the shape of the lips.
04:27 It also gives your gloss or your lipstick something to hold on to.
04:31 Let's put some lip color on there.
04:36 To balance out this look, I don't want something so glossy on the lips, so we're going to do
04:39 something more of a matte stain.
04:41 So we've chosen Hot Spot, which is a really gorgeous pink.
04:43 You just take it, put a little bit on the back of your hand, give me a little pout.
04:48 There you go.
04:51 There you go.
04:54 We've chosen Spotlight, which is a really pretty shimmery pink lipstick.
04:58 You want to take a little bit, put it right on a brush.
05:01 You can use your finger too.
05:02 Just put it right in the middle of the bottom lip.
05:05 This is just going to make your lips look a little bit fuller.
05:11 Also a great little trick that a lot of people don't know about, if you highlight the bow
05:14 area, that also gives the illusion of a fuller mouth.
05:21 That looks gorgeous.
05:22 Pretty.
05:23 Thanks everyone for joining us.
05:26 I had so much fun recreating the look.
