00:05 Today I'm here with a really quick video just showing you some swatches of the new fall
00:11 collection of ColourPop Cosmetics.
00:13 This is their 90's collection and they did launch 10 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, and 6 lip
00:20 colors, lipsticks and lip pencils...
00:26 Lipsticks and lip pencil sets?
00:30 Matching lipsticks and lip pen...
00:32 You know what I'm trying to say.
00:34 I am so tired you guys.
00:36 It's been a long day.
00:37 That's why this video seems a little rushed.
00:39 But there are so many of these swatch videos out right now that I wanted to just come on
00:44 here really quick and show you my first impression on these products.
00:48 You guys know with ColourPop, everything is a hit.
00:51 They're really good at their themes and color selection.
00:54 So this set does not disappoint or this collection does not disappoint.
01:00 I also love the names behind all of these products because they are very 90'sque.
01:05 They kind of remind me of when I was growing up in the 90's because I was alive.
01:13 I wasn't born in the 90's like a lot of YouTubers but I was alive in the 90's and I remember
01:20 all of these names, what they mean or what they're hinting at or where they got the name
01:24 from so that's pretty exciting.
01:26 They actually named one of their ultra matte lip colors beeper and I posted it on my Instagram.
01:31 I'll show you here.
01:32 And someone said, "What's a beeper?"
01:38 I was like, "You are too young to be watching me."
01:43 Or I'm too old to be on YouTube.
01:44 Anyway, I'm going to bring you guys in closer to show you some swatches of these products.
01:49 It really doesn't need to have a review because you know I'm a fan of ColourPop products.
01:53 They don't crease on me.
01:56 I mean they're awesome.
01:57 They're absolutely awesome.
01:58 There are very few products in ColourPop history that I haven't liked but I haven't been shy
02:05 about telling you about them.
02:07 So far for the blushes, the shadows, lippy sticks and lip pencils, they're absolutely
02:12 awesome.
02:13 So let me bring you guys in closer and show you what I'm talking about.
02:16 So the first two products in the collection are two blushes and these are both matte blushes.
02:21 And I'm really keeping up with the matte theme when it comes to this collection.
02:25 The very first blush is called Never Been Kissed, like the movie.
02:29 Isn't that the Drew Barrymore one?
02:31 So it is a matte finish.
02:33 The easiest way to apply ColourPop blushes are with your fingers or with a stipple brush
02:39 but you could also use a beauty blender.
02:42 So that's that color right there, Never Been Kissed.
02:44 The other one is called Cruel Intentions.
02:46 I was obsessed with that movie but every time I would watch it I would feel like I was doing
02:52 something bad because I knew my mom would never let me watch that movie.
02:58 And plus I was pissed because of the Sarah Michelle Keller character.
03:01 I was like, "Oh hell no."
03:03 Oh and the music in that movie was awesome.
03:07 That's that one right there.
03:08 That's Cruel Intentions.
03:09 Isn't that beautiful?
03:10 I like Cruel Intentions a little bit more than Never Been Kissed.
03:13 So this is like the peach version and this is like the pink version.
03:16 They came out with 10 eyeshadows.
03:18 Some of them are matte, some of them are pearlized, and some of them I believe are metallic.
03:23 This one here, I'm just going to grab them in a random order.
03:27 This one is Party Time.
03:29 That's that shade right there.
03:32 I love breaking into a new ColourPop shadow.
03:35 Just like ruining the embossing on top.
03:37 Just rubbing it with my finger.
03:40 Look how pretty that color is.
03:43 It's like a mauve-y brown.
03:44 Brown?
03:45 Brown.
03:46 Everyone laughs at me when I say mauve.
03:49 You guys know that's the right way to say it, right?
03:52 I'm not saying it wrong on purpose.
03:54 This is the shade Straight Trippin.
03:58 Kind of broke into this one already.
04:00 And this is a matte.
04:04 And this is like a, I don't know, like a blackened blackberry?
04:09 Like a blackened purple?
04:11 It's almost, I don't know how to describe that color except it's dark.
04:15 This is the shade Central Perk from Friends, obviously, if you guys remember Friends.
04:21 Ooh, that is soft.
04:23 Oh my gosh, look at that.
04:26 That's like the perfect java color.
04:30 Look at that.
04:31 Ooh, that is delicious.
04:34 The swatches are a little streaky because I'm not properly cleaning my fingers, you
04:38 guys.
04:39 Don't judge me.
04:40 I'm not being lazy, but my baby's about to wake up.
04:42 So I'm trying to get this done for you guys because I promised I would have it up.
04:46 This is the shade Plaid and it's a matte finish.
04:49 Okay, maybe I broke into that one too.
04:53 And that is this color.
04:55 How could I describe that color?
04:58 This is not a matte.
05:00 That is not a matte at all.
05:04 That is a black with like bronze sparkle in it.
05:08 Can you guys see that?
05:09 Can you pick up the sparkle?
05:10 Yeah, that is a black with like a bronzy sparkle inside.
05:14 Inside?
05:15 Okay.
05:16 This is the color Girl Power and this kind of reminds me of Ginger Spice.
05:21 I wonder if that's what they were going for.
05:23 Do you guys remember their shoes?
05:26 They made those like soda platforms really popular.
05:29 If you don't know what soda platforms are, I just gave you guys my age, basically.
05:35 This color is the shade Boy Band.
05:37 Ooh, that is pretty.
05:41 This is a pearlized.
05:42 It's that color right there.
05:43 Oh, baby woke up.
05:44 Right there.
05:45 Oh, goodness.
05:46 The camera doesn't pick up its beauty.
05:53 It's like a bronzed reddish copper.
05:59 Oh, it's so pretty.
06:02 This color is the shade Stereo and this is a metallic shade.
06:06 Ooh, look at that.
06:09 Stereo.
06:10 Oh, man.
06:12 Look at that color.
06:16 That is so pretty.
06:19 It's a dark base with red glitter.
06:24 This is the shade Mixed Tape and this is a pearlized shade.
06:29 It looks like an icy lilac, doesn't it?
06:35 Ooh, how pretty is that?
06:40 This is a matte shade and it's called Eye Spy.
06:44 Oh, it's so pretty.
06:50 It's like a mustard color.
06:51 No?
06:52 Imagine that as a transition shade.
06:55 Ooh, yes.
06:57 My last eyeshadow shade is the color Supermodel and it's a pearlized finish and it looks like
07:07 that.
07:08 Oh, that's pretty.
07:09 Ooh, that is so pretty.
07:12 You can't hardly tell, but all over the lid it would be so universal like sin from Urban
07:21 Decay.
07:22 In this fall collection there are also six lip colors and they are matching sets.
07:28 I guess you could say it's a lip liner and a lippy stick.
07:31 The six colors look like this and ColourPop is very precise or very ... It's really safe
07:39 when you look at the bottom of the pencils or the bottom of the lippy sticks.
07:44 The color tends to be very, very similar.
07:47 There's only been one shade where you look at the color and the color looks nothing like
07:52 it.
07:53 I can't remember which one it is, but it's one that looks red and it swatches like hot
07:58 pink.
07:59 It's totally different.
08:00 Anyway, so there are six different colors.
08:02 There is a color for everybody in this collection.
08:05 I'm going to swatch these for you guys and tell you which colors they are and then you
08:09 guys can decide or determine which ones you will be picking up for this limited edition
08:15 collection.
08:16 For the lip colors, like I said, there are six different shades and you're going to have
08:20 to forgive my swatching because I did it with my right hand.
08:24 For those of you new to my channel, I am left-handed, so this was a miracle.
08:29 This first color right here is probably my favorite one of the entire collection.
08:35 I shadow blush everything.
08:37 My favorite thing of the collection is this shade right here and this is the shade Contempo,
08:42 the liner and the lippy stick.
08:43 My favorite lip liners of all time are the ones from ColourPop.
08:47 They are super creamy.
08:49 There is not one single tug on your lip when you're applying it.
08:53 It feels almost like you're putting on a lipstick.
08:56 You don't necessarily have to get the lippy stick and the lippy pencil or the lippy stick
09:01 at all.
09:02 You could just get the pencil.
09:04 My color from ColourPop, Frida, I absolutely love the pencil.
09:07 I will go through two pencils before I ever finish a lippy stick.
09:11 Again, that's the shade Contempo.
09:13 This one right here is the shade, oh snap, right there.
09:19 This is one of those that the lip liner is a little bit different than the actual lippy
09:23 stick.
09:24 Usually, they're quite similar if not identical, but this one right here is a complimentary
09:28 set where this is a lot lighter, so you need the lip liner to kind of give it depth.
09:34 This dark color that you see is the shade Nevermind.
09:38 I'm guessing after Nirvana and that's like a deepened blackberry shade.
09:43 This brown one here I think is Grunge.
09:45 Yes, that's the shade Grunge and it's basically just a brown color.
09:49 It looks a lot like 1993 from Urban Decay.
09:53 Then that next one, that lighter red that you see is the shade Dazed.
09:58 It's almost like a ... It's like a red with a hint of raspberry.
10:04 Then this classic red down here is the shade Poison.
10:07 That is it for this ColourPop 90s collection, fall of 2015.
10:15 ColourPop outdid themselves with this collection from the names to the colors to the variety.
10:20 There's something for everyone in this collection.
10:22 The cool thing about ColourPop is too, I know a lot of times I joke about how there's collection
10:27 after collection after collection after collection and it can get a little ... It can give you
10:30 anxiety because you really can't keep up, but the good thing is that every item is priced
10:35 between $5 and $8.
10:39 It's quite affordable and they do offer free shipping for $30 or more.
10:44 If you spend $30, you do get free shipping.
10:49 That's another good thing.
10:50 With ColourPop, it's cool to wait for every couple of weeks or maybe every two months
10:56 and then you can gather which items you want to add to your collection.
11:02 ColourPop reminds me so much of pogs.
11:06 Do you guys remember pogs or tazos?
11:09 Tazos were those little discs that came with a slammer.
11:14 It was like a heavier coin and you would stack them and then you would throw the slammer
11:18 on them and they would fly and whatever tazos you threw around were the ones you could collect.
11:24 That's kind of what ColourPop reminds me of is their little collectors.
11:28 It's like how many little ColourPop pots can you have in your collection?
11:32 So many of you take pictures of your entire sea of ColourPop pots and it's so exciting
11:37 because they're affordable and you could really have a collection of ColourPop products.
