00:00 Hi guys! So as you can tell by my naked face, today we're going to do a makeup transformation inspired by this fake knife that I got at a Halloween store.
00:08 You guys asked for a gruesome makeup and we are about to go there with a cut up smile and a chopped off head.
00:14 Warning, viewer discretion is advised. I have to tell you this because younger audiences should not be watching this.
00:20 It's going to get super duper gory and gruesome. The most gorious, horrific, bloody makeup transformation I've ever done on this channel.
00:28 So now that I have told you, let's start with the makeup transformation.
00:31 And I'm just cleansing my face with a toner to get any excess oils and makeup off.
00:36 Even though I came on here bare faced, you never know.
00:39 Now this face cut can be painted on but we're going to do something more extravagant with actual products of makeup special effects.
00:45 Or you can skip it entirely and just go on to the next half part of this gruesome makeup look. Stay tuned.
00:51 Then I'm going to use this special effects makeup product called 3rd Degree.
00:55 If you do not know how to use or cannot find 3rd Degree, you can use nose and scar wax or gelatin.
01:00 Or you can do this with just straight up makeup if you're not confident using these extra products.
01:04 But like I said, I'm just using 3rd Degree. Equal parts of A and B. You mix it together and I'm just getting little bits at first.
01:11 Doing the top layer of this cut mouth, I am doing something called the Chelsea smile.
01:17 I think that's what it's called. It's what the Joker has on his face.
01:20 I put it on with a spatula first and then use a throw away paint brush from a craft store so that my edges don't show.
01:26 And then I'm getting a stipple sponge just to put in some texture so it blends nicely into our natural skin.
01:31 Now I'm doing the same thing with the bottom half of our mouth.
01:34 And it looks like I am covering a lot of my work with this mirror because I want to make sure I get this precise and well done.
01:42 But basically it's just the same thing we did on the top but with a gap on the bottom lip.
01:47 You want to connect it with your normal bottom lip. I feel like I should have built up more scar tissue on this bottom.
01:53 Since my bottom lip is like ginormous.
01:56 Small amounts of the product because it sets so fast.
01:59 Once you think your 3rd Degree product or gelatin or nose and scar wax with some sealer, I hope you did if you're using nose and scar wax, has set.
02:07 We are going to powder it down. I'm just using translucent powder with a fluffy brush.
02:12 All over this so that it takes away some shine so it looks more like actual skin that's like ripped on your face.
02:18 Now just getting some red pigment cream paint. This is from the Makeup Forever Flash palette but this is so expensive.
02:24 You could just use Ben Nye creams or any type of cream makeup. You could probably even use lipstick.
02:28 I'm actually going to use lipstick later on in this cut tutorial.
02:32 Now I'm just creating my own blood tone alcohol paint from this alcohol palette.
02:37 If you don't have alcohol paint, just get some 99% alcohol with a q-tip and dab it in some of that cream paint of the red that we put in there.
02:45 And have it flow outside of the cut that we did.
02:49 We want this to have an irritated skin look. That's why I'm getting this texture sponge with the alcohol paint.
02:55 Because alcohol paint is so great. It's not only waterproof but it mimics the skin so well into like real tones of injuries.
03:03 Now just getting a burgundy cream product. You could use Ben Nye bruise wheels or I am getting a burgundy lipstick here.
03:10 And putting that in the cracks as well. You want it to have like some flesh toned reds, some more burgundy darker blood tones.
03:18 Now that we think the Chelsea smile of that cut in our mouth is irritated enough, we are going to get a black cream paint.
03:25 You could use black gel liner, black lipstick, whatever you have on hand.
03:30 You want to do it in the cracks on the inside of that Chelsea smile where we did the third degree where it's building up the thickest.
03:36 You want to put black marks right there. You can use your fingers to dab it around but just do not smear and lift the third degree product.
03:43 And now it's time to get to the gruesome gooey bits. We are going to get some fake blood.
03:48 This is one of my all time favorite brands of fake blood. But any fake blood will do with a q-tip.
03:53 Let it drip and ooze out of the cracks of the mouth.
03:56 Like little tear drops of fake blood in some areas like you're a little vampire who just sucks some blood out of your victims.
04:02 And once you're satisfied with your split cut open mouth, it is time to move on to the other injury that we're going to do.
04:08 Which is a decapitated head. So we're going to get a white eyeliner and start drawing out the hole on your neck.
04:14 Any of your smaller shape of a weird like you want to think of the spinal bone that's connecting your neck to your head.
04:22 Once you're done with that outline, I'm just getting some hula bronzer and just hollowing and dirtying certain parts of my neck, collarbone.
04:30 You know, you want to do some parts of your face and like in your eye sockets to make yourself look you know sick and dead.
04:36 Like the skin is shrinking a little bit after it's losing blood from your head.
04:41 I know it's very graphic and creepy to think about but girl I studied.
04:45 Now I'm moving on to one of my favorite products which is aqua paints.
04:48 You can use some cream products as well in this neck region but I like to use aqua paints.
04:53 Just so that it doesn't like drip and like get all in the creases of my neck.
04:59 Aqua paints or cream paints will be great for this.
05:01 Then I'm getting some red lightly around that white piece of like the little spinal bone on our neck.
05:08 Around that circle oval that we drew on before.
05:11 Now using that same burgundy lipstick or whatever cream paint you used before.
05:16 We are going to trace the line of that cut where our head escaped the rest of our body.
05:22 I know that's really creepy to think about.
05:24 But I'm just drawing a line there and around the bits of the white and where our skin is lifting.
05:29 Where it is being chopped off from the rest of our head.
05:32 And dotting it in certain areas and then using a paintbrush to blend it in with some red cream paint.
05:38 I know this is really creepy to think about but what really helped me was looking up reference pictures.
05:43 I couldn't stomach up looking up real decapitated heads.
05:46 So what I looked up is the headless man from Harry Potter.
05:51 Do you know who I'm talking about?
05:52 I forgot his name at the moment. It escaped my mind.
05:55 But remember he was the ghost of Hogwarts who floated around and like lifted his head up.
05:58 And his head had been chopped off in his previous life.
06:01 Yeah him.
06:02 I really studied that picture because I couldn't stomach the real stuff.
06:05 Because I'm a baby sometimes.
06:06 Even though I could paint this gruesome detail on my body.
06:09 But as shown here we just want to make certain textures that are bloody.
06:13 You want it to have a texture of like flesh and juiciness.
06:17 Does that make sense? I know it sounds creepy and really odd.
06:19 So just layering on the burgundy cream paint with the red cream paint.
06:23 Altering between that and just a tad bit of black in certain areas to darken in certain spots.
06:28 Where the bone of that white around the bloody red tissue.
06:33 You know some shadows around there.
06:35 And then we are revisiting the alcohol palette with the stippling sponge.
06:39 And doing irritated marks because you know once the head separates from the body.
06:44 There's like some irritation from the knife slicing across your throat.
06:47 Like I said I apologize for the creepiness but it gets bloody.
06:51 I'm hoping with all these irritation marks the headless horseman will be proud.
06:55 Gosh I want to watch Sleepy Hollow like right now. The one with Johnny Depp in it.
06:58 Yes please.
06:59 Now once you think that our neck cut is juicy enough and looks detailed enough.
07:04 We are going to move on to some black aqua paint.
07:07 I really recommend the black aqua paint because using this much black cream paint.
07:11 Is going to get sticky around your neck.
07:14 Use a big paintbrush at first if you're doing this.
07:16 And then go in smaller detail around the chunks of flesh lifting from your neck with the black paint.
07:23 You can stop any part of the line of your neck.
07:25 Just make sure there's a good couple inches of gap of blackness.
07:28 Between the fake flesh lifting where your head used to be and the chin area.
07:34 The black background really does help with this.
07:36 But what I would suggest is maybe getting a black jacket.
07:39 If you're going to do this for Halloween with a popped collar.
07:41 Or even like one of those screen mask hoods.
07:44 Even like just a black hoodie would look great.
07:46 If you could fit the knife through your head.
07:48 If you're going to do a knife later on that's fake through your temples.
07:52 If you're going to go to that gruesome of a Halloween party.
07:54 I do not suggest scaring children with this whatsoever.
07:58 Children should not watch this, see this or even think about it.
08:01 So I'm sorry.
08:02 Now once you're happy with the placement of that black paint.
08:04 We are going to get some red irritation of the alcohol palette once again.
08:08 I love doing this step because you just like tap it on your skin.
08:12 And it makes it look bloody and rashy and gross.
08:15 I could do boils and red irritation all day every day.
08:19 I put some different colors under my eyes of like blue tones.
08:22 To make it look like I'm very hollow and sad.
08:25 That my head is missing from the rest of my body.
08:27 Now I'm just getting some fake blood.
08:29 I got some crusty old fake blood and put it on the edges of that cut.
08:33 And then I got the regular fake blood like we put in our mouth.
08:36 That's like the drippy kind of dark blood not bright blood.
08:40 And then you could spray some water on it to make it really drip in certain areas.
08:44 It really even creeps me out just watching it.
08:47 Even though I know it's fake.
08:48 And then with that q-tip and the fake blood.
08:51 I made it go near my eyeballs.
08:53 But not in your eyeballs.
08:54 Just like bloody tears.
08:56 And I put some around my ears like my ears were actually oozing blood.
09:00 Just like my eyes, my ears, just like your mouth.
09:03 Then I got some bluey purple tones very lightly of alcohol paint.
09:08 With a very very thin paintbrush.
09:10 And did in some vein marks very lightly.
09:13 So it looks like the struggle before my head was like sliced off from the rest of my body.
09:18 Just like losing all that blood.
09:20 Putting some darkness in my eyes and near my lips.
09:23 Putting more bloody crying tears and blood in my nose.
09:27 You want to spray it to make it really look oozy.
09:30 And a little slash mark across my forehead.
09:33 Now time for a fun part.
09:35 I am drying my teeth off to do some fake blood there.
09:38 Make sure that the blood that you put in your mouth is safe to put in your mouth before you do this.
09:42 Really caking it on there.
09:43 Getting it dingy because I'm afraid of it coming off.
09:46 But once we are done with that.
09:47 It's time to reattach the fake knife onto the temples of our forehead.
09:51 That inspired us to make this makeup transformation.
09:55 And why not stop there?
09:56 We could totally stop there.
09:57 But I decided to get some crazy contacts of course.
10:00 Some meshed out white ones so it looks like my eyeballs just rolled into the back of my skull.
10:05 From being so terrified and so shocked of me getting my head chopped off.
10:10 And my face sliced up.
10:11 This looks like a very gruesome attack.
10:13 And it all was inspired by this $10 fake knife that looks like it's going through my head.
10:19 Again I suggest to young children not watch this if you got this far.
10:22 Oh my goodness why'd you do it?
10:24 Please do not frighten people to death if you do this.
10:27 Thank you guys so much for watching though.
10:29 I had so much incredible amounts of fun doing this.
10:32 You guys said you wanted something gruesome and I went way over the top I feel like.
10:36 But Halloween is only once a year which is very sad and it's one of my favorite times.
10:40 So why not just go there?
10:42 Over the edge a little bit.
10:43 If you guys recreate any of my makeups please tag me on Instagram.
10:47 Show me on Twitter.
10:48 Email whatever way possible.
10:50 But just don't show anybody else if it looks too crazy and real.
10:54 And don't get in trouble.
10:55 And sadly it is time to take this off.
10:58 I wish I could walk around this outside without getting in trouble or maybe even arrested.
11:02 Thank you guys so much for watching and hanging out with me today.
11:05 As always all the products I use in this video will be listed down below.
11:09 And all the alternatives.
11:11 If you guys want to attempt this look with just paint that is totally fine.
11:15 It'll look really cool just the same.
11:17 But if you want to use different products like the ones I did in this.
11:20 I mean go for it.
11:21 Just don't hurt yourself.
11:23 Third degree nose and scar wax.
11:24 Just play with things until you recreate something you are proud of.
11:29 Anyone who puts thought into their Halloween costumes.
11:32 I appreciate this is the time of year where everybody's a makeup artist.
11:35 Don't be so hard on yourself.
11:36 Just have fun.
11:37 That's what Halloween's all about.
11:39 Like if you could find a fake knife for just $10 like I did at a Halloween store.
11:44 And get some lipsticks and paints.
11:46 You can make this look so great.
11:47 Taking this off was not that hard.
11:49 I just used some makeup remover wipes with the alcohol paint.
11:52 You might have to use some alcohol to take it off.
11:55 Isopropyl Myrostate is always the key if there's nothing else that will take your makeup off.
11:59 Last resort because it's not my favorite product.
12:01 But it will take anything off.
12:03 Showers are great too.
12:04 Like always every day.
12:05 And I hope you guys are having fun.
12:06 Be safe this Halloween.
12:08 And I love you all.
12:08 Bye.
