00:04 Welcome back to my channel.
00:05 You are very excited about today's video because finally ColourPop was able to find their first
00:12 unicorn.
00:13 So, you guys are always hearing me joke about how ColourPop products are like pretty much
00:22 part unicorn because they're sparkly, they're pretty, they're nice, they're long wearing,
00:27 they're amazing.
00:28 But finally, our prayers have been answered and they launched highlighters.
00:33 Yes, they finally listened to us and they launched their collection of highlighters
00:38 and I'm so excited.
00:41 The highlighters are the same as the blushes.
00:45 They're the same size.
00:46 They will retail for the same price.
00:48 If you're not familiar, they are a different size as the eyeshadows.
00:52 That's why they're a little bit more expensive.
00:55 But they basically covered every angle they could of with the color variety of these highlighters.
01:05 But full disclosure is the formula of the highlighters is different than the formula
01:11 of the blushes and the eyeshadows.
01:15 So the blushes and the eyeshadows have this really interesting formula where it's like
01:20 a spongy, moussey, kind of Play-Doh-y texture.
01:26 The product itself, the product of the highlighter is the same.
01:29 It's that spongy, Play-Doh-like moussey texture.
01:34 But these actually dry or set on the skin and they don't go anywhere.
01:39 I was joking with you guys in my blush video about how I cried for some random reason and
01:45 my blush stayed in place and did not go anywhere.
01:48 The eyeshadow, once it sets, it does not go anywhere.
01:52 If you swatch any of these eyeshadows on your hand and you let them dry, they're not moving
01:56 unless you take a makeup wipe or soap and water and scrub it off.
02:01 Highlighters are a little bit different because they don't actually set.
02:05 They kind of just stay on the skin.
02:08 So they're a product that was perfectly timed for release because spring and summer around
02:16 the corner, even if you don't want to have dewy skin, you're going to have dewy skin
02:21 because it's warmer weather.
02:23 So with products like these that don't actually dry down or set on the skin, they're always
02:28 going to give you that dewy, young, very glowy look.
02:33 And that's what you want.
02:34 So this is a really great product that is not a cream product, but it floats on the
02:40 skin like if it was one.
02:43 Once it warms up to the skin, you can tell it's so beautiful.
02:47 The color variety, the texture, the finish.
02:50 I mean, look at my cheeks.
02:52 Look at my cheeks right now.
02:53 It looks like a unicorn just came up to me right now and licked me across the apples
02:58 of my cheeks, right?
02:59 It's so beautiful.
03:00 This is actually my favorite color and I already have a dip in it because I've used it so much
03:06 and it's called Monster, of all names, Monster.
03:10 It's like a pink pearlescent duo chrome.
03:13 I was hesitant to do this video because on film, with my lighting, photography, it's
03:19 impossible to capture the beauty of these highlighters.
03:22 So I'm going to bring you guys in closer to show you some up close ... to just show you
03:27 them up close because that's all I'm going to do.

04:13 It's like you go from the normal classic type of highlighters here and then you start getting
04:19 a little bit more unique, more different, and then bam, look at these.

04:24 The warmer months around the corner, this is like the perfect product to just make your
04:29 skin look young, vibrant, glowy, dewy, almost like ... I don't know, like a beach day or
04:38 pool day, just that beautiful glow.
