A YouTube food review star has married his belly dancing Britain’s Got Talent contestant wife in a ceremony streamed online to their adoring fans.
Sophie Mei Lan Malin, 35, and Danny Mei Lan Malin, 43, who post online as Mr and Mrs Yorkshire, allowed their 650,000 plus combined fans to be part of their big day.
After a whirlwind romance, the pair got married on June 10 and had a Yorkshire-themed wedding which included a White Rose colour scheme and a crisp buffet.
They also had a Mr and Mrs Yorkshire themed cocktails, a belly dancer and the couple even did a burlesque chair dance as part of their first dance.
Danny, who delights millions with his hilarious reviews of kebabs and pizzas, even had a takeaway box to carry the rings down the aisle.
The couple, of Wakefield, West Yorks,. described their big day as a 'fairytale' that was 'unique to their personalities.'
Danny, a former butcher, said: "It's just been an amazing weekend.
"I would say it was unique to our personalities because we had Yorkshire Rose coloured balloons in the church and a gospel choir.
"It felt like a fairytale wedding where you've seen them fall in love, get married and live happy ever after."
The couple met in September last year after journalist Sophie interviewed Danny and they quickly fell for each other.
After going on a few dates, they became an item and Danny surprised her with a proposal November as she was cleaning the toilet.
Sophie, who belly danced her way to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2007, says Danny is the love of her life and added: "I was in complete shock.
"It went from absolute happiness and overwhelming emotions to then 'why did you do it when I had just been cleaning the toilet?'
"I was in my scruffs with my mum bun but to be honest it was very us because we went to a Toby Carvery to celebrate."
Danny said he 'didn't realise she had been cleaning the toilet' but decided to propose as he thought 'life is too short.'
He said: "I just thought that life is too short so let's not muck about.
"But I didn't realise she had been cleaning the toilet so I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.
"Then I proposed to her again in Paris, which was a bit of a better one as her hands weren't covered in bleach from the toilet.
"I was worried that she was going to say no but her face lit up like it was Christmas.
"It was really, really nice."
The couple currently have seven children between them but will be welcoming another baby - their first together - in October this year.
Danny said that although people 'might judge or criticize' the couple, he believes they are 'just two people that met and fell in love.'
He said: "Love has no time limit, you can fall in love in a split second and once you do that, I think it lasts forever.
"People might judge or criticize that and say it's a bit fast, but we're just two people that met and fell in love.
"We've connected on a level that's just unimaginable.
