April Favorites 2015 - MAC, Too Faced, Benefit, Sephora

00:00 Everyone welcome back on my channel today's video is going to be my April
00:04 favorite so I will be sharing everything that I've been loving this month. This
00:08 one has been really one extreme or the other. Either I look like a complete
00:11 homeless person or I was wearing a full face of makeup so it really is a mix of
00:17 stuff. I've been really rediscovering this foundation it's actually BB cream
00:21 this is the Lio elli beyond the solution BB cream. I know a lot of people like
00:26 the triple the solution I much prefer this one it's a little bit darker it's a
00:30 little less coverage it's like not that the other one is cakey but this one is
00:33 really a natural skin finish which I absolutely love it gives me really glowy
00:39 perfect skin I'm wearing it today and as you can see it's not really dark which
00:43 is the only thing about this I can only wear this at certain times during the
00:47 year because if it was like a Mac foundation it would be nw-15 you can get
00:51 away with it if you're nw-20 but that's about it it really is like a little bit
00:56 of a great tint to it but if you have this type of skin especially if you have
01:00 dry skin and love a really natural finish you need to try this as you can
01:04 see I'm almost done with it and I know I will repurchase this quickly gonna
01:08 mention an eyeshadow palette because the days I was wearing makeup I was wearing
01:13 the Too Faced chocolate bar palette we've all seen this palette I only
01:18 discovered it this month and I've been really enjoying it I'm wearing it today
01:22 on my eyes I've been doing pretty boring looks with it but at the same time it's
01:26 a neutral palette there's only so much you can do but I think it's pretty fun
01:29 I'm pretty sure it's gonna show up on camera I've been going a little darker
01:32 because I know in front of the window everything seems to be washed out so
01:36 currently today I'm wearing the gold shade all over my lid and I'm wearing a
01:39 little bit of these two in my crease to make it a little bit more smoky and the
01:45 fact that it smells like chocolate doesn't hurt so so far I've been really
01:48 enjoying it I have to try it a little bit more but so far so good on the days
01:52 I wasn't wearing makeup or very little one thing I've been really enjoying is
01:56 this little guy this is the benefit Gimme Brow this is the darkest shade
02:00 they have I've been really enjoying this I will be doing a video comparing this
02:05 to other brow gel but so far I love this so so much the brush is so tiny it does
02:12 such a great job I just this honestly does everything you want a brow gel to
02:17 do so far really liking it I will give my full thoughts during the review about
02:22 it but so far but sneak peek if you're thinking about this and weren't sure get
02:29 it for my cheeks I've been using the Mac taupe blush to contour quite a bit and
02:34 it looks like nothing in the pan but I've been really enjoying using it as
02:39 you can see I'm wearing it today I feel like it just gives me a really well
02:42 defined cheekbone I recommend it if you're not super pale because I feel
02:46 like it's a in too dark a hint I feel like it's a hint too dark whenever I'm
02:50 at my palest but right now I'm like and I can really get away with this it's a
02:55 matte finish so these tend to be a little bit more pigmented I would say
02:59 probably tan skin tone can still get away with this because it is really
03:03 pigmented and you can build it up again if you were thinking about trying this I
03:06 really recommend this I really enjoy it like I don't even know what to talk about
03:10 lips let's just talk about lips because who doesn't love lipsticks this I've
03:15 been going towards two extremes I'm either wearing like bright purple lips
03:18 or I'm wearing something like I'm wearing right now pretty much a beautiful
03:21 nude shade that isn't too pale the one I'm currently wearing is deep Mac brave
03:26 lipstick because it's so beautiful it is just a hint less cool tone than faux
03:34 they're pretty much the same color to non expert eyes you know they're
03:38 extremely similar but I do enjoy this one too I feel like the up for one might
03:43 be a little bit too cool tone for a lot of people if you're not sure what if
03:46 I'm trying this one instead the second one I did a video comparing it to the
03:50 NYX extreme lip glosses to see how well it lasted throughout the day and I'm
03:54 talking about the Sephora lustre matte long wear lip color in the color petal I
03:58 enjoy this so so much for second I thought was fig if you can't use liquid
04:03 lipsticks because you find them to drying but you like the fact that they
04:06 last so well throughout the day really recommend trying these type of lipsticks
04:10 they are amazing they do transfer but your lips will feel moisturized all day
04:15 long which is so difficult even lip glosses sometimes can be drying not this
04:19 one seriously Sephora has some amazing lip product and talking about more lip
04:23 product from Sephora I want to mention this baby this is the Sephora cream
04:28 lip stain which I have a lip swatch video that I will link down below this
04:34 one is the color 12 which I believe is the African valid color this is the one
04:37 that I was wearing at night during my birthday I love this color so so much it
04:42 is so beautiful like really a quite unique color really enjoying this and
04:47 also the one that looks actually pretty similar I was wearing it during the day
04:51 this is the bite Beauty luminous cream lipstick in the color violet again such
04:57 a beautiful color you really need to try these they currently have this one
05:01 actually is still on sale like little duos I think they're so worth it I think
05:06 they are $12 US 15 Canadian and you get two lipsticks how often do you finish a
05:11 lipstick you just get two beautiful colors it's enough lipstick in there to
05:14 last you for a while also have a duo with more neutral shades that I also
05:18 recommend I've been wearing this nail polish on my nails all month long I
05:22 cannot stop to wear it and it is the OPI you're such a Budapest so everyone that
05:27 has been asking me this is what I've been wearing I absolutely love this the
05:31 color is like a beautiful periwinkle shade love this I love the formula to
05:35 the last like around a week on me which is all I want next product is a blush
05:39 that I've been really enjoying it is the benefit Dallas blush everyone has been
05:43 telling me that it was going to be discontinued so obviously I needed to
05:47 get it and as you can see it doesn't look like much in the pan looks like a
05:51 beautiful like Mavi nude color maybe but when you swatch it you can see it is much
05:56 more warm tone this is Dean ours Olympia blush duo that I just wanted to compare
06:01 it to so you can see this one is way lighter and it is a little bit more on
06:05 the cool tone side so this one is more like a orangey shade on my cheeks as you
06:09 can see kind of something that can use as a bronzer in a blush all-in-one so if
06:13 you are interested in this one I really recommend this I've been really enjoying
06:15 it I usually don't mention disappointing product let me know if you want to see a
06:19 full video on them or if you just want them to be added to my favorites of the
06:24 month the two that I have to mention this month are actually both mascaras
06:29 I've been trying out some mascara and I tried the mango one this is the L'Oreal
06:33 voluminous miss manga and I did not like this at all like the formula is fine is
06:39 just the brush as you can see it looks fine but every time I tried to curl my
06:44 lashes you know using it it does this I just apply a little bit of pressure you
06:49 know just to curl my lash and it just every time it bends and it just does
06:53 absolutely nothing for me the lashes on the corner especially like they really
06:56 tend to go really downward and this did not help that whatsoever I could curl my
07:01 lashes before but those especially on the side just they don't curl they just
07:05 they do their own thing and this did not work for me the next one I'm sure
07:09 everyone already know what I'm gonna say it is the Too Faced better than sex
07:13 mascara I know a lot of people love this but it really did not work for me it
07:17 flaked so bad and every time I've been trying it ever since the first
07:21 impression video I did but overall the flaking is what's gonna make me return
07:26 this I'm actually gonna exchange it for the benefit roller lash and I have a
07:30 little sample of it I absolutely love that mascara so I'm gonna go and exchange
