00:34 So basically, Bare Minerals came out with... the whole thing with Bare Minerals is really
00:41 natural, light coverage, embrace your own skin, just beautiful, healthy, glowy, youthful
00:50 looking skin.
00:51 I mean, with all their products, that's kind of like their emphasis.
00:54 And I really like that about them.
00:55 But I was talking to my friend Suomi about this product and she was like, "Oh yeah, I

01:02 And I was like, "Okay, well we both live here in Texas, it's really, really hot, and if
01:07 you like it, I might as well give it a try."
01:08 Before I go on one of my coffee break tangents, let me just tell you what the whole... what

01:16 This is a gel cream with sunscreen, so it's going to give you sheer to medium coverage.
01:25 I don't know about the medium, but it's supposed to give you sheer to medium coverage.
01:28 It has SPF 30.
01:31 It's supposed to give you naturally radiant color, lightweight skin quenching gel cream,
01:41 gives you the right amount of coverage, and reveals a dewy, healthy looking glow.
01:47 It also has marine botanicals to help hydrate and replenish your thirsty skin, so perfect
01:53 for people with dry skin.
01:55 It has mineral electrolytes to help energize skin, and it's a skin protecting antioxidant
02:02 that acts like your skin's bodyguard to help defend against environmental stressors.
02:08 It's a non-chemical SPF, which means that it will give you flashback.
02:12 It's a physical SPF, like the white one that you see when you're going to the beach or

04:51 It's a product that is sheer, so if you don't have your exact color, it's very forgiving.

05:30 This is a perfect product for busy moms, someone that doesn't like really heavy makeup, someone

05:44 you just want light coverage, but you also want some protection.
05:47 Like say, I don't know, if you're in high school or college, I'm being a judgy mom right

05:54 You wear makeup at the age that you want to.
05:59 That's me being politically correct, because I don't have a daughter.

06:16 So you can tell, I mean, it's pretty good.

06:23 You can see all the freckles that I have on my nose.

06:28 So it is a gel-like product, so it is going to feel almost like a serum-y type moisturizer.

06:45 So I don't know if you could tell, but it's a gel.

07:08 So it's one of those products that the way that I like to use it is I'll put it all over
07:13 my face, and then if I notice that I want a little bit extra coverage in certain places,
07:18 then I'll just pat it on in that area.
07:20 So a product from a reputable brand.

07:23 It has products or a formulation that's good for the skin.
07:28 It's only $29, and you get 1.18 fluid ounces, which is a little bit more than the usual
07:38 one ounce, which is pretty cool.

07:41 I mean, I don't think I've ever seen anything similar to this in the drugstore.

07:48 It's a gel-like, lightweight, sun protection, light coverage, dewy finish, makes you look

08:04 I mean, if I were to come up with a con is it's pretty lightweight coverage, so if you
08:08 have a lot of stuff that you need to cover up, you're still going to have to invest some
08:12 time either setting it with a powder foundation or using a lot of concealer, and it's definitely
08:18 not going to last like 12 hours, but it's a product that doesn't claim to be long wearing.
08:24 Because it is a sunscreen product, it is recommended that you reapply every couple of hours.
08:30 I wouldn't reapply it after I did all of this with my face, but I would definitely reapply
08:35 it if I was just wearing it to, let's say, the swap meet or to the park.
08:40 Because if I'm going to the park, I'm just going to wear sunscreen.
08:43 I'm not going to wear a full face of makeup.
08:45 And it's sheer enough where it's not going to give you that ghost face.
08:49 You know when you're putting on foundation and you just have your foundation on and you
08:52 look kind of like pasty or cakey or like a ghost?
08:55 It's not going to give you that look.
08:57 It's going to give you that really fresh, dewy, young, almost like glowy-like skin.
09:03 So you don't need to put anything else on.
09:05 And then you can freely reapply every couple of hours.
09:08 Anyway, I could go on and on, but it's a really great product.
09:11 If you guys are looking, if you're on the market for something that is sheer to light
09:15 coverage, it feels comfortable, if you're in a really hot state like I am, or you're
09:20 outdoors and you need sun protection, it's a good option.
09:24 Go to Ulta and maybe try a couple and feel it on your skin, see how you like it.
09:29 Because it does set, but it doesn't set powdery.
09:32 You can feel it has a little bit of stick to it, not like a sunscreen, but it doesn't
09:37 set dry.
09:40 So if that's something that you don't like, maybe it might be something that you don't
09:46 enjoy.
