Collective Sephora Makeup Haul 2015

00:00 Hey everyone, it's Anne. Welcome back to Beauty with Emily Fox. Today's video is going to be a collective Sephora haul as you can see in the background.
00:06 I have a big bag full of new products, and I can't wait to share them with you, so let's just get right into it.
00:12 By the way, I'm not sure how it's going to look on camera, but I have like a really sunburn on my chest right now.
00:18 And if I do this, you can really see.
00:20 Yeah, I got a little bit too much sun.
00:24 So if my face doesn't perfectly match my body, it's because I don't have a right foundation.
00:28 So, makeup time.
00:30 Speaking of foundation, I picked up two different ones. The first one is the Sephora, this is the Etuorial Natural Finish Foundation.
00:36 I picked up the color 14, which is soft beige. I'm hoping it's going to match me. I did purchase it online.
00:42 Actually, I made a purchase before the 1st of July, which is, they changed everything for Canada, so now it ships from Canada.
00:48 So there's a few brands that we don't even have access to anymore.
00:51 Some of them are in there, so I'm sorry about that.
00:53 But I'm pretty sure they will adjust it really quickly because it would be really stupid to not let us have access to have the brands.

01:01 So, I picked up this one. I'm hoping it's going to match me.
01:03 It seems like a good match, but maybe not right now because I'm so red.
01:06 But a little bit of bronzer, it's probably going to work.
01:09 So let me know if you want to see a first impression on this, because I can totally do that.
01:12 It's supposed to be a like satin finish to be really lightweight, which is what I'm all about, and looking flawless.
01:19 I really like natural looking foundation, but when they give you a little bit of coverage, it's even better, right?
01:23 So I picked up this one.
01:24 The 2nd one, I believe you can't even get in Canada right now.
01:28 This is the Tarte BB Cream. This is the SPF 30.
01:31 I got the color light, which maybe I should have went with the medium one.
01:35 We'll see how it goes because from the top, it does look pretty light.
01:39 But I wanted to get this just for the SPF 30 when I don't want to wear like a full face of makeup.
01:44 I just want something quick and easy in the morning.
01:46 You don't necessarily want to apply like moisturizer, then the SPF, then this, then that.
01:51 So I thought that could be really quick, so I got the smaller size too, hoping the color is going to match me.
01:56 The more I look at it, the more I'm like, "Eee, that's a little bit pale."
01:58 But you know, I'm exceptionally tan right now.
02:02 It's supposed to be a primer, but I'm going to use it as a BB cream.
02:05 We'll see how it goes because they're supposed to have a good coverage in there.
02:08 Pore minimizing and skin brightening, so it's not something I would love.
02:12 Speaking of SPF, I decided to try the new sunscreen from Tarte.
02:15 This is the Tarte Garde Dirty.
02:17 It's basically a sunscreen with a SPF of 30.
02:20 It is so small.
02:21 I wanted one for when I'm traveling this summer, but how tiny is this?
02:26 It's supposed to smell good.
02:27 Let's see how it smells like.
02:28 Okay, it's quite perfumey, but at least it doesn't smell like sunscreen.
02:32 So if you don't like the scent of sunscreen, this might work for you.
02:35 But wow, it's so small compared to box.
02:38 I'll try it out and let you know if it's worth the money or not.
02:41 I think it's probably more worth it if you buy the big one.
02:43 But I just wanted to try it because I do have a few more SPF,
02:46 but I think they're running low.
02:47 So I wanted one for traveling.
02:49 Exciting things.
02:50 I decided to pick up the Becca Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector Press Highlighter
02:55 in Champagne Pop, which everybody has been mentioning.
02:59 So I needed to try it for myself.
03:01 And this is what it looks like.
03:03 It is beautiful.
03:04 It is super, super intense highlighter.
03:06 Like if you don't like something that is really frosty, you will not like this.
03:10 I'm actually wearing it today.
03:11 I did film this Get Ready With Me video, so I will be posting it before or after.
03:16 Whenever it is, I will link it down below.
03:17 But I did apply this today for the first time.
03:20 And it goes on beautifully, but I do have to blend it quite a bit into my skin tone for it to work.
03:26 If you have really fair skin, this might look like a gold streak on your face.
03:30 So I know that it personally won't be working for me whenever it's winter,
03:34 but right now it does match me.
03:35 And I have like maybe NW20 skin if you compare it in MAC.
03:40 Any lighter, you might have to use a really light hand.
03:42 And I do feel like I have to blend it a little bit just to make it look more even.
03:46 First time using it, so I can't really say much about it.
03:48 I know it looks similar as if you mix it with Opal and Moonstone.
03:52 So if you weren't able to get your hands on it,
03:55 or you have the two other ones and are not sure if you should get this one,
03:59 you might be able to skip it if you already have the two other ones.
04:01 Next highlighter, I'm actually more excited about it.
04:04 And it is the Laura Mercier.
04:05 This is the Matte Radiance Baked Powder.
04:07 It's the shade 01, but I'm not sure if they even have a second one.
04:11 Let me know if I'm wrong.
04:12 But I have been loving this so, so much.
04:15 I've heard Katleen Lights mention this,
04:17 and I had to pick it up when she said that it looked super natural,
04:20 like a glow from within, which is what I'm all about for highlighter lately.
04:24 And I've been loving this so much.
04:26 I've been wearing this pretty much every day.
04:28 I haven't been able to not wear it except today,
04:31 because I had to try the other one.
04:32 But I love this so much.
04:34 It gives you the most natural glow from within look.
04:37 It's just something that you absolutely need to pick up.
04:40 If you like something that is natural for highlight,
04:42 that doesn't have any shimmer or glitter, you need to try this one.
04:45 I absolutely love this.
04:46 This is the first time I can see myself finishing a highlighter,
04:49 which... can you even finish a highlighter?
04:51 I'm sure I'm gonna finish that one, that's for sure.
04:54 I finally decided to get the Tarte Tarte Lette Palette.
04:58 I've heard so many people mention this.
05:00 Everybody was raving about it, and I just missed out on it.
05:04 It was out of stock when I wanted to purchase it during the Sephora sale in November.
05:08 Or was it in April?
05:09 I think it was in April, so I finally decided to get it.
05:12 And it's a beauty.
05:13 I'm so happy.
05:14 All matte shades, and they lean towards the cool-toned side,
05:17 which is what I really like.
05:18 And they're all matte.
05:19 Like, can you ever have too many mattes and they could look gorgeous?
05:22 There's some purple, some brown, some neutral shades.

05:27 because I am sure I'm gonna be wearing this a ton.
05:30 I also picked up the Ardency Inn.
05:32 This is one of the eyeshadows.
05:34 I know you can't purchase it online in Canada right now,
05:36 but you can probably still get it in store,
05:38 because I believe I saw them not like, not long ago.
05:41 From the US, you won't have a problem.
05:42 This is the color Rose Gold, which is just the most stunning color ever.
05:46 This is my first time trying them, and they are so creamy and pigmented.
05:49 I can't believe it.
05:50 I want more shades, but like I said, you can't even order it now from Canada,
05:54 so I might have to do a little road trip to the US and pick up a few more colors.

06:22 This is the Farsay Beauty Ultra Repair Cream.
06:24 This is my holy grail product.
06:26 I have like three tub of this.
06:28 Actually, I finished one tub, and I will never be without this.
06:31 This is my favorite cream.
06:32 If you have like dry patches on your face,
06:34 or around your nose when you're sick,
06:35 or all over your body, you need to try this.
06:37 Love this.
06:38 So I have two of those now, those smaller size.
06:40 One is actually my purse right now.
06:42 I went a little bronzer crazy, but you know,
06:44 summer is the perfect time, right?
06:46 Stila came out with some new ones for its summer collection.
06:49 This is the Stila Stay All Day Bronzer, Face and Body,
06:52 and I got the color number two, which is medium.
06:55 And how huge is this thing?
06:57 I wanted something a little bit darker than what I have right now.
07:00 I was wearing today the Tarte one, but it is like much lighter,
07:04 and a lot used up.
07:06 Like I hit pan big time on this one.
07:08 So I wanted to try this one,
07:10 and I thought why not have a huge ones too for your body,
07:13 so I can bronze my neck if I don't match,
07:16 or if I'm burned right now.
07:17 So my neck is white, my body's red.
07:20 I'm really excited to try that one out.
07:21 It was really finely milled.
07:23 I did like the color, it was not too orangey.
07:26 So it is not fully cool tone, but more of a neutral one.
07:29 So if you have tan skin, you can still wear it.
07:31 It won't give you that like sunburn look, but I do like that.
07:35 I want something a little bit more cool tone.
07:36 I just like that type of color a little bit more.
07:38 The second bronzer I wanted to try is from Make Up For Ever.
07:40 They came out with six new shades, five new shades, could be wrong.
07:44 Some of them are matte, some of them are shimmery.
07:46 I decided to try the color 20M, which is a matte shade.
07:50 Pattern on this thing is so beautiful.
07:52 I got one that is matte.
07:54 It's not like matte, matte, matte.
07:56 I feel like there's a little bit of a satin finish to it,
07:58 but it looks gorgeous.
07:58 They had some that were a little bit more warm.
08:00 I felt like the lightest one was quite orangey.
08:03 So I thought, might as well try this one.
08:05 And I'm kind of afraid to use it.
08:07 I haven't tried it on my face yet because the pattern is so pretty
08:10 and I don't want to ruin it.
08:11 It's how it works, right?
08:11 A product looks so pretty that you have to have it.
08:14 But then when you own it, you're like, I can't use it.
08:16 It's too pretty.
08:17 So beautiful bronzer.
08:18 Once again, I will be including swatches.
08:20 It looks gorgeous, super finely milled.
08:22 It seems to blend really beautifully on my hand.
08:24 I will have to try it out on my face in the future.

08:28 The first one is a skincare product from First Aid Beauty.
08:30 Can you tell it's one of my favorite brands?
08:32 This is the First Aid Beauty Vitamin Hydrating Mist.
08:36 I missed out on the MAC Fix Pluses.
08:38 So I wanted to, you know,
08:41 it just felt like I needed some type of mist on my face.
08:43 And I love toners.
08:45 Like I know a lot of people think it's just, you know, expensive water,
08:48 which some of them are, I'm not going to lie.
08:50 But this one has some great oils in there and some great ingredients.
08:53 So I decided, why not?
08:54 It smells quite strong, like not really fruity, but kind of fruity.
08:58 It is a small bottle too.
08:59 I was quite disappointed.
09:00 I ordered it online without looking at the amount of product that was in there.
09:04 And there's just two fluid ounce.
09:06 So it's a little bit small.
09:08 It wasn't as expensive as the other ones that Sephora sells,
09:11 but it is quite small.
09:11 So keep that in mind.
09:12 But so far, I do like it.
09:14 It feels really refreshing.
09:15 I like using them before applying my serums.
09:17 I just feel like they spread more easily on my face.
09:20 And I just love skincare.
09:22 So I decided to try this one.
09:23 Last but not least, a new product from Sephora.
09:26 Actually, I was looking at their new concealers.
09:29 The reviews were not really good.
09:30 Apparently, they just are a average concealer.
09:32 So let me know in the comments, what are your favorite concealers from drugstore?
09:35 Or even foundation?
09:36 Because like I said, I will do probably a little road trip to the US.
09:39 And I will probably go crazy in the drugstore section.
09:42 So let me know everything I need to pick up.
09:44 From the new products, I decided to try the Sephora Universal Brow Freeze.
09:48 I got the non-colored one so I can fix my brows with it.
09:52 Because my brows are always doing crazy things.
09:54 Like I will do them, they look fine.
09:56 And then I can start filming.
09:57 And then there's one that just decides to do this.
10:00 And when I'm editing, I'm like, why?
10:01 So I will see if this helps with my little brows.
10:05 Because they're doing their own thing.
10:07 And when it's really warm outside, it's kind of not helping.
10:10 Again, I will be trying that one.
10:12 They had a few colors.
10:13 I think there was three other colors that were colored.
10:15 So if you like that.
10:16 But personally, I prefer being like really precise with my brows.
10:19 Because they're pretty thin naturally.
10:21 So I just wanted something like a little wax to make them stay in place.
