00:00 Hey everyone, I'm here with Bailey.
00:02 - Hello.
00:03 - And we're going to make a rainbow cake for you guys.
00:06 I got this recipe off taste.com.
00:09 - Mm, tasty.
00:10 - The first step is to preheat the oven to 180.
00:14 - Yeah.
00:16 - The second step is to use an electric mixer,
00:21 beat butter, vanilla, sugar until light and fluffy.
00:24 We have our electric mixer here.
00:26 (mixer whirring)
00:29 So we are going to get a bowl.
00:32 Then we're going to get 125 grams of softened butter.
00:36 - Or tortilla.
00:37 We are unorganized, do you think?
00:39 Okay, how much do we need?
00:41 - 125.
00:41 - 125.
00:42 - Yummy.
00:47 - It's not yummy.
00:49 - Did you eat it?
00:51 Okay.
00:56 Vanilla, which is one teaspoon.
01:00 Oh my God.
01:01 - What did you eat?
01:02 Too hot, too hot, too hot.
01:05 - It's going to start very soon.
01:07 Can you please be able to see?
01:09 We are then going to get one teaspoon of vanilla extract.
01:12 - Do you have a spoon?
01:16 - No, this is a cap.
01:17 Cap.
01:21 - That's not a teaspoon.
01:22 - What do you saw?
01:24 (laughing)
01:26 - Just put it in.
01:29 - Then we're going,
01:32 we are then going to get three quarters
01:35 of a cup of caster sugar.
01:37 - Is that three?
01:38 - Yes.
01:39 - So first off, we're going to,
01:42 (laughing)
01:44 we are then going to mix this,
01:46 just so when we buzz it,
01:48 - Jake, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, that's killing me.
01:51 - You don't hold a spoon like that.
01:54 - No.
01:54 Hold it like that, because I'm there.
01:57 - So we're just going to buzz it up.
02:02 (whirring)
02:04 - Three and a quarter.
02:13 - We are then going to crack these eggs one at a time
02:20 and pour them in, beating after each one.
02:22 (laughing)
02:24 Teamwork!
02:25 So we're just going to beat the eggs after each one.
02:30 - No more people going through that.
02:33 - It's very sweet, Jake, try some.
02:40 - It's really good.
02:43 - Can I try some?
02:43 - Yeah, try some.
02:45 - Oh, that's yummy.
02:46 - I can taste the egg.
02:49 - I couldn't taste the egg.
02:51 - So we're then going to get one and a half cups
02:54 of self-raising flour, and we're going to sift it.
02:58 - That's stanky.
03:00 - We will be adding half a cup of milk.
03:07 - Pour just half of it in there.
03:10 - You're holding it most often, why are you like--
03:12 - Help me to hold it.
03:15 - Bye bye, Rose.
03:16 - Goodbye, Rose.
03:19 - Next up, we will split this into five.
03:22 - I don't know how much stuff we need to put in the bowls.
03:34 - We're then going to get five colors.
03:39 We're going to pour some colors into each of the things,
03:43 I guess.
03:45 - This is really good.
03:47 - It's going to die on my nose.
03:50 It's going to die on my nose.
03:52 - I've got a cookie here.
03:54 - What color should we start with?
03:58 - Blue.
03:58 We could just put it in like that.
04:01 - Yeah, we'll do that.
04:03 We might need to cut them.
04:04 Never mind, you don't need to cut around.
04:08 So first off, we are going to put blue in first.
04:11 There's no real thing to put in.
04:16 - Just put in whatever color you want to do,
04:19 and we do it.
04:20 Camera.
04:24 If you can tell, we have never done this before.
04:30 - Is that good?
04:31 - So we're just spreading it out.
04:37 Bailey failed miserably.
04:39 That's great, Bailey.
04:42 - Thank you.
04:43 - I'm so lucky.
04:45 Green?
04:51 - Next we're going to do green.
04:54 As you can see, we have never done this.
05:01 I like this green, it's like my mood.
05:04 - Grass.
05:05 - You have to then put it in the pan,
05:10 and then you have to put it in the oven
05:12 for one hour and 10 minutes,
05:15 or until skewer is put in the middle
05:17 and comes out clean.
05:20 Which we'll probably have to go all the way down to.
05:23 And then stand in pan for five minutes,
05:26 then out onto wire rack to cool.
05:29 - Cool bucket.
05:41 (ice clinking)
05:44 - Hey guys, we're back.
05:46 We split all these up, they've come out pretty good.
05:49 We've got the butter, 125.
05:51 One and a half cups of icing sugar.
05:54 - That's a bit worse.
05:55 - And we're just going to stir it.
06:04 We've got a lot of icing.
06:10 - We did our cake.
06:12 - Woo!
06:13 - Thanks for watching.
