The Clifton rock slide is a very weird and wonderful hidden gem in the city. Essentially, the slide is a strip of rock that has been smoothed by bristolians backs over the decades. The slide is located by the Clifton observatory and overlooks the iconic suspension bridge. But why is this weird and wonderful slide so iconic to the city?
