00:00 Hey everyone, it's Cupquake.
00:01 Welcome to another episode of Quake and Bake.
00:02 Today I really wanted to make something Pusheen.
00:03 A lot of you guys have been requesting this and if you don't know who Pusheen is, Pusheen
00:18 is a cat and it's just a little animated kitten with a bunch of different animated gifs.
00:23 So I will provide a link in the description if you guys want to check out Pusheen's Tumblr.
00:29 But Pusheen is a little egg shaped kitten and I thought it would be perfect for cake
00:34 pops.
00:35 I know I've been on this cake pop craze but I promise this is the last consecutive cake
00:40 pop episode in a row.
00:41 Alright so I already have my cake pops made.
00:42 If you guys don't know how to make cake pops I will put a link in the description how to
00:47 make them so they are just shaped like little eggs.
00:50 So this is how Pusheen looks.
00:51 It's just a little egg shape.
00:52 So now we're going to dip these into some candy melts.
00:56 I'm going to melt some white candy melts.
00:58 I have some left over from the previous episode and I'm going to add some black food coloring
01:04 to it after it's all melted so we can create a gray color.
01:07 So let's go ahead and melt these.
01:09 Once my chocolate is all melted I'm going to add a little bit of this black food coloring
01:14 so that we can get a nice gray color for Pusheen.
01:17 So before we stick the cake pop sticks into our cake pops we're going to make a hole so
01:33 that some of the chocolate drips inside.
01:36 Then we're going to dip our cake pop stick into the chocolate and stick it into the cake
01:41 pop and let it dry completely.
01:42 So now you're going to get a toothpick and dip it in the chocolate and grab a little
01:47 bit to put on top of Pusheen's head and we're going to use miniature chocolate morsels as
01:54 his ears.
01:55 So once you place on the ears place the cake pops in the fridge for about 10 minutes and
01:59 then they'll be ready to dip.
02:01 So now that the cake pops have cooled a bit we're now ready to dip them in some chocolate.
02:10 So once your Pusheen's are all covered in chocolate we're now going to grab the same
02:19 chocolate that we did have before and add a little more black to it and I'm going to
02:23 put it in a piping bag and we're going to use this as the gray stripes as Pusheen's
02:28 decoration.
02:29 So let's go ahead and put this in a piping bag.
02:37 Now we're going to cut a teeny tiny hole at the edge of the piping bag and we're just
02:41 going to pipe on the decoration.
03:02 Now grab some black icing with a number one tip and we're going to draw on his eyes and
03:07 nose.
03:08 So make two little dots for the eyes and an upside down Y shape for the mouth.
03:13 Make sure to keep the mouth and the eyes aligned because that's one characteristic of Pusheen.
03:19 Also add two whiskers and if you like you can add little feet but there you have little
03:25 Pusheen.
03:26 Once you're done with all the facial features you now have Pusheen the cat cake pops.
03:32 These are adorable and they're really one of the easier cake pops that I've made.
03:36 I hope you guys try these out.
03:37 If you do try them out tweet me a picture @iicecookquake or post a picture on the Facebook
03:42 fan page.
03:43 I'll put the link in the description for you guys.
