00:00 Annyeonghaseyo my dear viewers! Today I'm going to do a Korean inspired makeup tutorial which is something like the makeup I wore in my 2013 favorites video.
00:10 Many of you have requested it so here we go!
00:13 Starting off with a bare face, I've already put my primer on but instead of using my usual foundation, I'm opting for a CC cream this time which will help me achieve the dewy Korean skin look.
00:23 This is probably the only CC cream I use because it magically turns from a white to suit my skin tone.
00:29 Most CC creams that I've come across are either too dark or too oily for me but surprisingly this works just fine.
00:35 That's why I'm loving it so far!
00:38 I'll leave it to set and then move on to prime my eyes.
00:41 Here I'm using Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Apply it all over your eyelids.
00:45 My favorite part of playing with makeup is eyeshadows.
00:48 First, I'll highlight my brow bone with this super cute pigmented eyeshadow.
00:53 And then taking a shimmery bronze, blend it under your brow bone as a transition color.
00:58 Then using a taupe color, fill in your crease and under eyes to create depth and definition.
01:03 I'm gonna curl my lashes first this time because I don't want it to smudge my eyeliner later on.
01:08 And boom! I have lashes!
01:11 For the eyeliner, I'm using both black and brown eyeliners to create a gradient look.
01:15 Adding the brown will soften the harsh black outlines and enlarge your eyes but still achieve the defined look.
01:21 Taking the same brown, line your bottom lash line.
01:24 I'm going back in by adding a darker brown to the outer corners of my eyes where the wing ends to further intensify the look.
01:30 So for the brows, Koreans nowadays are rocking the thick straight brows.
01:35 It gives them a kinda innocent, youthful feel.
01:38 Simply shape and fill in those brows and you're good to go!
01:41 Using half falsies, I'll be placing them only at the outer corners of my eyes to give it a fluttery effect.
01:47 Remember to wait for the glue to dry before your itchy hand touches the lashes.
01:51 We're going all out for the wide eye look.
01:53 So line your bottom waterline with a white eyeliner.
01:56 Next, we're going to create the signature Korean eye giggle style.
01:59 Using the same highlighting eyeshadow I mentioned earlier, smile and find your happy eye bags.
02:05 After you're done highlighting, use the same brown to shade underneath your highlight.
02:10 At last, you're done with the eyes.
02:12 Zooming out, let's focus on the rest of the face.
02:15 Start off by concealing any visible imperfections.
02:18 Also, conceal your lips at the same time to prep it for later on.
02:21 A rosy blush is a must for this look.
02:24 Here I'm using Posay Tint from Benefit.
02:26 It's a light pink stain.
02:28 I really really like this blush simply because it's such a cute pink.
02:32 Blend it in a circular manner for even pigmentation.
02:35 I like to set my makeup simply because it helps it last longer and it prevents any unnecessary shine.
02:41 Last but not least, I'm going to create a glossy pink gradient lip.
02:44 I'm putting a bubbly pink lip colour on the inside and slowly blending it outwards.
02:49 With a little pop of gloss, your lips will look like candy!
02:53 I gave my hair a quick style and we have the final look!
02:57 Ta-da!
02:58 And I hope you like this Korean-inspired look and learn a tip or two from my tutorial.
03:04 Do give me a thumbs up if you like this look and I'll see you soon.
03:07 Bye!
