00:04 New Democracy won 158 out of the 300 parliamentary seats. That is the comfortable majority that is
00:12 needed to push through with the reforms. Now, although they received the similar percentage
00:17 to the May election, they benefited from the bonus system, which gave them a reinforced
00:22 representation in parliament. Now, a big question, of course, is how much will the opposition parties
00:30 be able to impact their policymaking? Of course, main left-wing party, main opposition force,
00:39 Syriza got trounced, receiving less than 18%. However, we're seeing many French parties making
00:46 an appearance in parliament. We'll have eight parties in the Greek legislative assembly. And
00:53 will Kyriakos Mitsotakis be able to push through with his pro-investment agenda? Will he be able
01:00 to cut back on the public sector? Will he be able to push through with his health care and education
01:07 reforms? These are all the question marks that Greeks are asking this morning. But of course,
01:13 with this comfortable majority in parliament, we think that most of his program will be able
01:19 to sail through parliament. Now, another staggering development and one that should be the
01:26 main focus of this election process is the resurgence of the hard right. We're seeing
01:35 three French parties, one that is little known about, Spartans it's called. It was recently
01:41 even endorsed by a jailed former lawmaker, Elias Kasidiaris, who belonged to the now-defunct
01:47 Golden Dawn party, which found its roots in neo-Nazism. He endorsed this party. The leader
01:53 of Spartans came out thanking Elias Kasidiaris late last night. Big question marks upon what
02:02 and how the Greeks voted for. Now, another two parties also won. The Greek Solution returned
02:10 to parliament, ultra-nationalist as well. A big no on migration there. One of their ideas was to
02:19 send illegal immigrants to uninhabited Greek islands. And we also have the party Victory,
02:26 a very Christian, orthodox family values and nationalism. Will Kyriakos Mitotakis tackle
02:34 the rise of the hard right? It is a big question mark and one that has troubled
02:40 political sciences across the world. Natalie Saverkas reporting there.
