03:18 Now, how to construct this,
03:20 you need just to get a red box.
03:23 And in order to get the correct length,

03:29 you need to get your three fingers
03:31 and lay it on top of the card box.
03:36 You're going to cut right,
03:39 if you have an imaginary line in your finger,
03:41 you would cut right in the middle.
03:42 You don't cut at the edge of your finger.
03:44 You cut right there,
03:45 right in the middle of your finger,
03:46 and that will be the perfect length for you.
03:49 As you can see with this gimmick,

04:41 what you're going to do is,

04:45 you're going to put the gimmick on.
04:46 Remember the flap is back like this.

04:55 as you can see.
04:57 The tabs go inside,
05:03 which is going to keep it secure.
05:05 And once everything is in,
05:11 you're going to get a rubber band.
05:12 Once again, you're going to get a rubber band
05:14 that'll fit snugly around the box,
05:16 which doesn't droop on these sides.
05:19 And you're going to super glue it just on the sides,

05:24 Because you still want to be able to snap
05:27 the rubber band on both sides,
05:30 but you want to keep it secure to the gimmick.
05:33 Once you have that set,
05:38 the piece that you actually cut off for the gimmick,
05:41 the remainder of the piece is what you're gluing on
05:43 to another blue card.
05:45 So the piece that's left off
05:46 from the gimmick that you created,
05:48 that will be glued on to a blue card.
05:51 So that when it's in there,
05:53 you're completing the picture of the card box.
05:57 I'll show you that in a second, okay?
05:59 But this is the gimmick for that.
06:01 And I put this in the back of a Joker
06:02 because you don't need that card.
06:05 Your gimmick box is good.
06:07 And here's what you need to do with the cards.
06:09 Like I said, it's a full deck of blue cards.

06:48 And you insert it into the box,

07:10 you're actually going to grab one of the blue cards
07:13 from your deck,
07:14 but you're not going to show them
07:16 what the card is just yet.

07:25 just like this.
07:29 So this is in your pocket,
07:31 and you're going to come out showing the card box like this.

07:39 I'm going to place it under the rubber band.
07:42 You turn your left hand, palm down,
07:45 and you are going to place the card under the rubber band,
07:48 but it's actually going under the gimmick as well.

08:45 making them believe that the whole entire deck is red.
08:48 Pull the deck all the way out.
08:51 Turn your left hand, palm up,
08:53 tell them to hold out their hand,
08:55 and you can literally place this whole entire box
08:57 on their hand so they can watch it the whole entire time.
09:01 You turn the deck face up,
09:04 and when you do, you want to make sure
09:06 that the crimped card is towards you.
09:09 You don't want the crimped card to be facing front.
09:12 You want to have it so it's back here facing you.
09:16 You go through the whole entire deck.
09:20 You spread all the way down to the bottom,
09:22 saying you can select any one of these cards
09:24 that you want to.
09:25 As soon as you get to the two jokers in the back,
09:28 and the two jokers are the red joker
09:32 and your gimmicked joker.
09:35 Soon as you get to the very, very bottom,
09:38 you're gonna take the gimmicked joker,
09:39 which is second from the bottom at this point,
09:42 take that, and just misplace it on the bottom.
09:47 You're gonna place it on the bottom,
09:48 saying you can select any one of these cards
09:49 that you want to, which card would you like?
09:52 You can have them either name a card,
09:53 or I like to have people hold up their finger
09:55 and just touch one.
09:57 They touch whatever card they like.
09:58 In this case, we'll say the four of spades.
10:02 Now remember, you don't want to show the backs of the cards
10:05 since they're not all red, okay?
10:06 You want to make sure that you're careful not to flash.
10:09 Take out whatever card they pick,
10:11 placing it on the top of the face up half of the deck.
10:14 Now, you're going to get a break
10:18 in between the card they chose and the rest of the deck.
10:22 You're holding the break with your thumb,
10:24 and you're going to do a double undercut.
10:28 That means you're gonna grab some cards,
10:32 transferring from the bottom to the top,
10:35 still keeping that break held by your thumb.
10:37 Grab some more cards,
10:41 transferring it, still keeping that break.
10:44 Now you're gonna cut all the cards at the break,
10:50 placing it on top, which now puts their card
10:52 at the very bottom, and the gimmick is next, okay?
10:57 You keep it that way, turn the deck around,
11:01 being careful not to show the bottom,
11:03 and you actually grab the card box from them.
11:06 Now, this is the only time that this card is out of view,
11:10 but it's so quick, people will believe
11:13 that it was never out of view at all.
11:15 So you're gonna turn it so it's towards you.
11:17 This card is towards you.
11:19 And now the crimped card is at the top right here,
11:24 which is gonna allow you to feed it
11:26 in between the gimmick and the card box.
11:28 If you see, there is a space right there
11:31 in between the card box and the gimmick.
11:36 That is where you're gonna feed in that crimped card.
11:40 Feeds in just like that.
11:45 And if you look, here's the exposed view.
11:47 Here's what's really going on.
11:48 As soon as you push it through,
11:50 you can see that your card, which is now right here,
11:55 and the gimmick right there, is feeding through the gimmick,
12:03 and it's going to cover the card that you put there
12:05 at the very beginning of your routine.
12:07 This goes pretty quick.
12:10 You just shove it straight through
12:12 and turn it right back over as you close
12:18 the lid of the box.
12:20 That's done really quick, a few seconds,
12:22 and the people will believe that the card
12:24 was not out of their sight.
12:25 You now put your right thumb on the back
12:29 of the card box like this.
12:31 And once again, you're gonna take out that card
12:35 by covering your three fingers over the gimmick.
12:39 The pinky is gonna be right here
12:40 because you are gonna turn the cards over.
12:42 You don't want them to fall out.
12:44 Pinky at the lid, three fingers covering the gimmick
12:47 as you pull back on that top card,
12:51 which is now their card, and as soon as you pull back,
12:55 the gimmick card is now being revealed right here.
12:58 And you wanna give them that flash of the card,
13:01 card box, so they can see that there was only one card
13:04 there the whole entire time.
13:06 Really what's going on is that this gimmick
13:09 is covering the original card that was there.
13:11 So you give them that flash as you pull out the cards.
13:16 You don't say anything about it.
13:17 You just give them that flash
13:18 as you completely turn the box over,
13:20 saying this card was in full view the entire time.
13:24 The amazing part is this is also the four of spades.
13:29 Now once again, this card can be signed.
13:32 Whenever you have the card pulled out
13:34 and put on top of the deck,
13:35 you can have them sign that card,
13:36 or you can just leave it this way.
13:39 And it will always match.
13:40 Whatever card they name or touch will always be the one
13:43 that you put there at the very beginning.
13:45 And that is open.
