00:00 Gentlemen, we've been over the rules in the dressing room.
00:03 I want a good, clean fight.
00:05 Protect yourself at all times. Obey my commands at all times.
00:08 Touch 'em up.
00:10 First fight of the night. 130-pound limit here.
00:16 Ray Quadrato in the purple trunks.
00:19 Yuri Anduhar in the black trunks.
00:22 Here we go.
00:29 [whistle]
00:31 Both fighters coming out in an orthodox stance, Henry.
00:39 Ray Quadrato's already looking to start at a quick pace.
00:43 He comes out firing some body shots and firing off pretty much every punch in the book so far,
00:48 which you want to see in that first round, right? No feeling out here.
00:51 Seems like he's going right to the goal.
00:57 Ray Quadrato firing off that jab like a piston.
01:00 You've got to love that from a fighter, right? I know you tell your fighters, "Everything starts with a jab."
01:05 Absolutely. That jab is more than just a tool to hit.
01:09 It's a tool to measure your distance and create openings.
01:12 Anduhar shakes it off, but you know that means that he felt a few of those shots.
01:25 Ray Quadrato so far doing a good job controlling the pace with that jab.
01:29 Good counter shot there from Anduhar. Caught the attention of Quadrato.
01:33 Quadrato visibly grimacing as he goes back to the center of the ring.
01:38 Good left hook.
01:42 Told you, man. This is why I love club shows. There's a lot to prove for these prospects.
01:46 There's a lot to prove for a guy like Yuri Anduhar.
01:49 First round, and there's no feeling out process. There's no kind of fencing.
01:53 We're just coming in throwing leather.
01:56 Ray Quadrato quickly switched into a southpaw stance.
02:00 He switched into a southpaw stance and he fired off a left hook that was looking like a prime Terrence Crawford switch kick.
02:07 You're going to see him in the ring at the end of July against Errol Spence.
02:12 And Quadrato's looking very sharp tonight.
02:19 Quadrato doing a really good job of, like we just said, leading with the jab, but also being a counter puncher as well.
02:26 Henry, how difficult is that for someone like Anduhar?
02:29 You just don't know what's coming. Are you going to fire off a jab? Are you going to be a counter puncher?
02:33 It's definitely very hard because it kind of paralyzes you a bit because it makes you hesitant to throw.
02:38 Every time you throw, Quadrato's ready to counter and look out and counter back.
02:43 So therefore, it makes Yuri a bit hesitant to let those hands go.
02:48 Nice right there from Anduhar.
02:50 See, Anduhar, I think he's losing the round, but he's putting up some...
02:54 Oh, nice left! Both fighters throwing serious leather here in round number one with 30 seconds to go.
03:00 Fans are loving it here.
03:05 Listen, get to your seat early when you come to a Broadway Boxing, a Broadway Boxing Insider, because you don't know what you're going to miss.
03:15 And that's how you can tell that sometimes records are a bit deceiving.
03:18 Yuri Anduhar obviously doesn't have the most impressive record, but you can tell that he's game.
03:22 Oh, good...
03:25 Oh, right hand from Anduhar catches Quadrato coming in.
03:30 Very good round. Very good round.
03:33 Round one of many tonight.
03:39 Henry, I always say I never want to be a judge.
03:42 I don't want to get to the mind of a judge, but I'm going to make you be a judge tonight.
03:46 I just need to look at some of the replays from a really good first round.
03:50 How would you score that first round?
03:52 I definitely would score for Quadrato. I think he was very dominant with that jab early in the round.
03:56 And then as the round was closing in, he was landing some beautiful combinations.
04:01 Though Yuri had some good moments, Quadrato definitely outdid him.
04:05 I agree with you.
04:10 Quadrato was the aggressor. In the center of the ring where he did his best work.
04:14 I thought his most trying moments were when he was kind of switching his stances
04:20 or he was kind of staying in the pocket a little too long.
04:22 And that's when Anduhar was able to land some shots of his own.
04:26 A 10-9 round for Quadrato, but not like a blowout by any means.
04:30 Round two underway here from Sony Hall, Dan Canobio and Henry.
04:39 Oh, nice jab shot.
04:41 I was about to call you Henry Cejudo, UFC.
04:47 Henry De Leon, noted New York City trainer. He's got a close eye on this fight right now.
04:54 And we're seeing Quadrato retreat a little bit, Henry.
04:57 Yeah, I've seen Quadrato coming up from the amateurs.
05:00 He was a pretty good fighter in the amateurs and very dominant here tonight.
05:03 And this is Anduhar was the one that was retreating. He was moving back.
05:06 He's taking steps back in this round. And it's Quadrato who's moving forward.
05:11 There he goes again, switching back to Salahpour. Back to orthodox.
05:14 Do you like when fighters do that?
05:16 You know, I think tactically it's not a bad idea.
05:18 As long as the fighter is familiar with fighting in each stance.
05:21 Oh, beautiful. Beautiful right hand from Quadrato. Punch of the night.
05:26 Oh my god, another one.
05:33 That right hand can't miss from Quadrato.
05:36 Yuri Anduhar, what do you got to do here to get out of the way of that right hand?
05:40 I think you got to throw that jab a little bit more and honestly feint a little bit more.
05:42 Don't just stand in front of him. Move your head away from the center a bit.
05:45 Just about halfway through round two. We're only scheduled for four.
05:54 Four round fight, you got to come out firing.
05:58 Absolutely, especially for a four round fight. You only have a limited time to impress the judges.
06:03 Quadrato doing a really good job fighting coming forward and backwards.
06:11 Oh my god, what a beautiful combination.
06:13 Beautiful. He's countering. He's going to the body.
06:17 The stance switching is working really well for Quadrato.
06:26 Nice.
06:28 You got to give Yuri credit. Despite him getting hit, the guy refuses to go back.
06:32 Not only that, he's standing and trading too. He's not covering up. He's not holding.
06:36 Should he hold?
06:38 I mean, I always think tactically it's a smart thing to do, especially when you get caught with a good shot.
06:43 There you go. Coming right back into it.
06:54 Endorhar always got cut. He might have got cut by the...
06:58 Might have got an elbow with that little wrestling match they had just there.
07:02 Endorhar is cut. You got to keep an eye on that in the corners in between rounds.
07:06 Endorhar is very, very tough. Still coming forward despite the cut.
07:15 Still coming forward despite being outlanded in this fight so far.
07:20 [crowd shouting]
07:22 It's not a club show without some blood now, is it?
07:28 It's not a club show unless I go to the dry cleaner tomorrow and have to explain to him,
07:32 "Hey, you got to get more blood out of my shirt."
07:35 It's a great round for Ray Quadrato.
07:37 Another good round for Quadrato. A 10-9 round. I saw you just write it down.
07:41 Endorhar's got his work cut out for him.
07:44 If you were in the corner of Endorhar, what would you be telling him?
07:46 I would tell him to try and move around a little bit. He's standing in front of Ray Quadrato
07:49 and not necessarily doing anything. If you're going to stand in front of him,
07:52 either move your head, feint a little bit to create openings, or box a little bit.
07:57 Don't just stand in front of him and be a sitting punching bag for someone like Ray Quadrato,
08:01 who's very accurate.
08:03 Quadrato's corner, they're working-- Excuse me. Endorhar's corner, they're working on that cut.
08:08 He's down two rounds to nothing. Take a look at some of the highlights here.
08:13 From a very explosive round two, Raymond Quadrato landing that right hand couldn't miss.
08:19 There he goes, switching with the stance. Beautiful.
08:23 Nice. We've got our DJ playing show tunes here.
08:29 That's another reason I love New York City shows. You never know what you're going to hear from the DJ.
08:34 Round three, here we go.
08:41 Round three of four, Raymond Quadrato in the purple trunks, Yuri Endorhar in the all black.
08:47 It's been all Quadrato so far over the first six minutes, landing at will, but don't get it twisted.
08:53 Yuri Endorhar is very tough, very game. He's willing to come forward and trade for our entertainment,
08:59 and I always respect that.
09:01 Maybe that blood lit a little fire under him and gave him a sense of urgency.
09:06 You hear that a lot from fighters. Once they see blood, it's like seeing blood in the water.
09:10 They wake up a little bit and they start seeing, like you said, a little bit of urgency.
09:15 But the same could go for Ray Quadrato. He sees his opponent bleeding,
09:18 and that could also motivate him to apply a little bit more pressure.
09:21 That's really starting to leak out of his nose.
09:24 Blood flying all over here at ringside.
09:31 [crowd shouting]
09:34 I like what Quadrato's doing this round. I wouldn't say he's letting his foot off the gas, but he's boxing.
09:49 He's got two rounds on him, and he knows that he can kind of pick shots, and he's doing a good job of it.
09:54 I mean, his game plan has been working since round one. Like, why do anything different?
09:58 If you've been pretty dominant with how you started the fight.
10:02 The thing with Andrew Harre is he's so tough and he's so pesky.
10:07 Just when you think he might take a knee, just when you think he might come down,
10:10 he comes with a right hand right there and goes down to the body.
10:13 You've got to give him his credit. He definitely did not come here to lay down and pick up a paycheck.
10:18 Oh, beautiful combination.
10:26 It's Quadrato who holds for the first time in the fight.
10:29 Under a minute to go here in round number three.
10:53 It's a four-rounder, our first fight of the night.
10:56 Like I said earlier, Raymond Quadrato, on our unofficial scorecard, won the first two rounds.
11:04 He's choosing to fight this fight this round, I should say. A little bit more distance.
11:08 Beautiful left hook right there by Ray Quadrato.
11:11 As I say that, they stand and train on the inside.
11:15 I mean, Yuri is game tonight. He is not backing up.
11:18 This is an outstanding fight to start us off tonight.
11:22 [crowd noise]
11:25 Andujar coming on late. Here comes Quadrato.
11:36 Great stuff here at Sony Hall.
11:50 You know, Dan, for up-and-coming prospects, I think this is exactly what you want to see them up against.
11:55 Because it's matches like this that really challenge them to really test the prospect to see where they're at and how far they can possibly go.
12:06 Yeah, it's something that sadly has gone away.
12:10 These club shows, these grassroots shows, that's why I'm so happy the Boxing Insider teamed up with Lujan Bella and Broadway Boxing to bring them back.
12:17 Because we're getting to see great talent here in New York in Raymond Quadrato.
12:21 And a guy like Yuri Andujar, who obviously I think is losing the fight, down three rounds to nothing on our unofficial scorecards.
12:27 But putting forth a great effort where, hey, I want to see Yuri Andujar fight again.
12:32 Absolutely. I mean, Eggman has not taken a back step at all.
12:36 Fourth and final round.
12:43 Here we go, final three minutes of the fight. Raymond Quadrato in the purple trunks.
12:47 Yuri Andujar in the black trunks has been Quadrato on our scorecards leading the way with great boxing on the inside and outside.
12:55 Andujar finding his moments as well.
12:58 Andujar is just putting it all on the line now.
13:06 [crowd noise]
13:08 We're right next to Quadrato's corner. That's how we punch out. Punch out.
13:22 What exactly does that mean?
13:24 Basically just trying to keep the guy away at a distance by throwing shots.
13:29 Don't just back away from him by moving, but throw a shot as you're moving away.
13:35 First two rounds, Quadrato is looking for the ball.
13:51 Beautiful right hand. Right on command too.
13:53 First two rounds, Quadrato was brawling, but the last two rounds I feel like he's become a boxer puncher.
13:58 Which is nice to see the variance in his offense.
14:02 Absolutely, but I think that has to do with Yuri's pressure.
14:05 As the rounds went on he's obviously becoming a bit more desperate and therefore risking it all to come inside
14:10 and therefore forcing Quadrato to fight a bit more stationary.
14:14 Melionov sharpshooter.
14:19 Famous Bret Hart finishing move. Are we going to see that to end this fight?
14:23 I'll tell you what, Yuri Andujar is so tough.
14:32 He is bleeding profusely from the nose about midway through what, the third round or end of the second?
14:38 Second round I believe it was.
14:39 But he is just coming forward.
14:42 Yuri Andujar catches Ray Quadrato right there with a beautiful left hand.
14:57 Coming out of San Cristobal, DR.
14:59 I hope he gets familiar with New York City because we're going to want to see him back here in the boxing insider ring.
15:07 Fans here on their feet.
15:11 Getting a great fight for fight number one of five tonight.
15:16 Ray Quadrato and Yuri Andujar as we close out a really good four round fight.
15:21 I wouldn't mind seeing eight rounds of this.
15:23 No seriously.
15:24 Ten rounds of this.
15:31 What a fight.
15:36 Final bell.
15:38 Good back and forth action to start us off tonight here at Boxing Insider.
15:41 Broadway Boxing.
15:44 Raymond Quadrato and Yuri Andujar go the distance.
15:48 After what you saw here tonight Dan, how do you feel about this prospect Ray Quadrato?
15:54 I think he's really good man.
15:56 I like the switching of stances.
15:58 At first I thought wow that's a pretty aggressive move for a guy with under ten fights.
16:03 Did it work for him?
16:04 I like his offense.
16:05 He was switching up from being a jab guy to start off the rounds to brawling.
16:10 Which he showed off a lot of his offense despite just four rounds which is really impressive.
16:14 Take a look at some of the replays here Henry.
16:17 There was definitely a lot of nice back and forth action in this fight.
16:26 Listen I got Ray Quadrato winning on my scorecard but like you said I would not mind watching Yuri Andujar fight again.
16:35 I'm going to head up into the ring and I'm going to talk to the winner.
16:40 It's all you Henry.
16:41 It's all you my friend.
16:42 Amazing.
16:43 I'm going to head up into the ring and I'm going to talk to the winner.

17:16 It's all you Henry.
17:41 Here we go to Matt Capitello with the announcement.
17:50 Ladies and gentlemen, per the judges scorecards, John DeSantis is the winner.
18:19 John Bazzilli, Anthony Lundy and James Pierce all score in this contest.
18:24 40 to 36 for your winner by way of unanimous decision, Ray the Scientist Quadrado.
18:47 Great performance on that by the Scientist.
18:51 [LAUGHTER]
