The Blues Kitchen has launched its brand new eight-week Taste of Texas food and drink menus curated by renowned Texan chefs and mixologists.
The popular restaurant, bar and live music venue launched its new menus at its London and Manchester locations on Saturday July 1 and will be serving the delicious additions until August 31.
These new menus have been created in collaboration with Travel Texas and beloved Texas restaurants Beto & Sons and Nitro Burgers, to transport The Blues Kitchen guests all the way to the Lone Star State.
The new dishes include two Texas-influenced tacos and one stuffed-to-the-brim burger, and for drinks there are two new spicy margaritas to try and a Smokey paloma and we absolutely had to head down and try them out for ourselves.
I sat down with Jack Hersh, the live music programmer for the Colombo Group who own and manage The Blues Kitchen, and he was able to give me an overview of the inspiration behind the Taste of Texas menu and what was in each dish.
