An electrical fire on June 17th, at 24 Poplar Way, Bramley, ripped through a Leeds council house.

The family living there accused contractors from Leeds City Council of saying the scorched property was safe to move back into. However, a spokesperson for the authority said the council agrees the house is currently unsafe to live in and has offered alternative accommodation.
