00:00 Greg McIlroy may have said it.
00:03 He has probably upset all the blue-blooded fanbases in the Southeastern Conference when
00:08 he said this.
00:12 Ole Miss is the most dangerous team in the SEC.
00:16 Nobody's talking about them right now.
00:18 This is something that he has been pretty consistent with for a while on his own podcast
00:25 and on his own personality.
00:27 Ole Miss is his surprise team at a level like TCU was last year.
00:33 He loves the Ole Miss Rebels, and specifically he loves Quenshawn Judkins, and we'll get
00:38 to his second take in just a second.
00:41 But he is talking about how Ole Miss has brought in Pete Golding, and that is going to help
00:46 out the defensive system just by Pete being there with a healthy defense and an improved
00:52 passing game, which he is talking about how he's heard that Jackson Dart is getting rave
00:57 reviews.
00:58 We've been talking about that for weeks at this point.
01:02 That if these two things happen with Quenshawn Judkins and all the explosiveness that this
01:08 offense can have, this Ole Miss team has a chance to win nine, ten ballgames.
01:13 Even with the schedule, I'm putting up air quotes right now, that is so brutal, which
01:18 essentially is playing at Georgia, which is an unbelievably hard game, not saying that
01:23 it's not, and 11 games that are probably easier than they were a year ago.
01:28 So understand that Ole Miss has a chance to compete.
01:33 Now normally I sit on an island on my predictions and my takes and everything that I've said,
01:38 and there has probably been a video that you've listened to in the last three or four months,
01:43 heck, the last three or four weeks of mine where you just roll your eyes and it's like,
01:47 "Okay, Steve's at it again."
01:50 But all of a sudden I'm not on an island on this.
01:56 I've put up statistics to back up and show my work of how I got here.
02:01 The fact that the ESPN-FPI has Ole Miss at over a 60% probability of winning nine games.
02:10 Now Ole Miss is probably going to lose a game they're supposed to win.
02:13 They're probably going to win a game they're supposed to lose.
02:16 And it always kind of balances out.
02:18 But if you go straight by the numbers, straight by chalk, each game Ole Miss has a 60% chance
02:25 of win in nine of the 12.
02:28 The three that they are under 60% and they're actually under 40% is the LSU game, which
02:34 they are a 34% chance of winning that game.
02:42 And Alabama and Georgia where they're each at 11% chance of winning that game.
02:46 But if you look at the numbers across the analytics, the things that can't be changed,
02:52 all of a sudden you can see that this Ole Miss team has a chance to do this.
02:56 At least the analytics support the fact that they can do this as well.
