Transcript
00:00 Four OFWs have returned to their country and are now in Saudi Arabia.
00:04 According to Migrant Workers Undersecretary Hans Leo Katnak,
00:07 OFWs were imprisoned for almost five years in a deportation facility
00:13 because of debts.
00:15 Now, they have been given financial assistance.
00:19 The DMW is also helping them to find work.
00:23 The Philippine government is thankful to Saudi Arabia
00:27 for their cooperation in bringing OFWs back to the Philippines.
00:32 This is the type of work, legal assistance, handling specific cases of jailed OFWs
00:41 that we had picked up from the DFA.
00:44 And these are the types of cases we will address,
00:46 and these are the types of courses of action we will take.
00:50 If a Filipino is imprisoned, we will give them the best legal defense,
00:54 the best means possible to open the door, literally, for them to come home.
