00:00Due to the two-day transport strike that was initiated by the Piston and Manibela group,
00:04local governments were quick to respond to the demands of passengers.
00:08In Quezon City, almost 100 Q-City buses were distributed for passengers,
00:14such as E-trike, QC-owned vehicles, and barangay vehicles of Luzon.
00:18The Mulabon City Government distributed six buses
00:22to ensure that there is a proper alternative transportation
00:26for its passengers on the other side of the transport strike.
00:29Pasay City Police Station Substation 8 used their vehicles
00:34for free transportation for those affected by the transport strike.
00:37While 14 police vehicles of Police Region 5 were distributed
00:41for passengers in Legazpi City, Albay.
00:45The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board
00:48has already agreed that they are ready for the transport strike
00:50that will continue until today.
00:53They also asked the government agencies and local government units
00:56to evacuate commuters.
00:58The LTFRB urged drivers who will be affected by the strike
01:02not to be the reason for the heavy traffic on the main roads.
