00:00 Hi I'm Jenny Meath, I'm here with Clive Anderson who has just performed in his The
00:08 Macbeth and I show. And you talk about Macbeth and in The Catchable Tales it's about love
00:12 to see Macbeth. When I spoke to you Clive the first time I then had a really terrible
00:17 day because my car broke down and it turned out that I'd run out of petrol. Yes, that's
00:22 not really a breakdown is it? That's you running out of petrol. And I suppose that's bad luck
00:26 but I don't know it does seem to attract, in researching this I keep finding more and
00:31 more disasters. They're hard to analyse statistically but an awful lot of things have got going
00:36 on. Once I've got going on this has been alright but the main battle I was starting a tour
00:41 because I was going to start in March 2020 and the whole world came to a grinding halt
00:47 so I had to, and then in Edinburgh I had to wait two years to start my tour which is odd
00:54 because I was just on dates here and there last year and this year. So if I carry on
00:59 doing it the world will come to Edinburgh. Maybe it is isn't it? Warming, burning up
01:04 Europe as we speak. I don't know why I'm laughing this morning. But I just thought your interview
01:09 technique, have you enjoyed my interview today? Fabulous, yes you've moved on from the bad
01:15 days of me doing it. You're too nice to your own peculiarity.
01:19 Can you make a childhood dream come true and just say now it's over to Jenny Beak on
01:30 the piano? Now it's over to Jenny Beak on the piano!
01:35 I don't know the piano, that's bad luck isn't it?
01:38 You're door stopping me in my dressing room as I'm picking up, it seemed like a lovely
01:44 experience. The show is too long and I keep trying to cut it down. I know it's an old
01:50 building and it's an old theatre but it's an interesting shape. It's almost like a ship
01:55 inside, does that make sense? There's an inside of a ship.
01:59 It's my advice. I just want to finish with, you really inspired me. I think the chastity
02:07 of the film about how I performed a kind of a story, a one that can go on, you massively
02:12 inspired me when I was young and I just want to say thank you.
02:15 Oh well thank you for saying that, whether it's true or not.
02:17 I appreciate it. Thank you.
02:20 Thank you for calling me.
