00:25 That's why many of us are using e-wallets and in the middle of this system is the SIM.

00:31 It was given by the Department of Information and Communications Technology to allow everyone to register their SIM.

00:37 July 25 is a hard deadline.

00:40 By 1201 of July 26, those who did not register their SIM card will no longer have connectivity.

00:48 According to the National Telecommunications Commission, the contents of e-wallets will not be lost.

00:53 But the recovery of the account will be delayed.

00:56 They will not be able to access if their e-wallet account is associated with the SIM that they did not register.

01:04 So to avoid trouble, the SIM must be registered.

01:07 Either for fraud or they are really used for scams and they will not be registered.

01:14 According to the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group,

01:17 there are now a lot of groups that use e-wallets for illegal activities.

01:22 They warn the public not to buy your account.

01:24 If you sold your registered digital wallets or registered SIM cards,

01:29 if the police backtracked, they will lead you.
