00:00 We saw that aggressive racing between the 11 of Denny Hamlin and you.
00:04 Assess what happened.
00:05 Was there somebody in the right and somebody in the wrong?
00:09 >> First off, just really proud of my team to get us in position to race for a win.
00:14 We got spun early and car wasn't the same after that.
00:18 But they played the strategy really well to get us up there.
00:23 Just unfortunate, but I've been cost a lot of good finishes by him throughout my career.
00:33 I know he says I race a certain way.
00:35 I don't think I've ever had to apologize to him about anything.
00:37 So not that I'm sure he's going to say sorry after this.
00:41 But it is what it is.
00:44 So whatever.
00:45 Just move on.
00:46 Move on.
00:47 Try to go to -- I don't even know where we're at next week.
00:51 Richmond, I think.
00:52 I guess we won there earlier this year.
00:54 So try to get a good run in.
00:56 But thanks to the crowd here in Pennsylvania.
00:59 I got a lot of support here in P.A.
01:00 So always love coming here.
01:03 >> You and Denny are friends off the racetrack.
01:04 Do you have an inclination to reach out to him or wait and see?
01:08 I know you said you don't think he'll apologize.
01:10 >> No, I mean, it is what it is.
01:13 Like, yeah, we're friends.
01:16 Yes, this makes things awkward.
01:19 But you know, whatever.
01:22 You know, he's always right.
01:24 All the buddies know.
01:25 Denny's always right.
01:26 So I'm sure he was in the right there as well.
01:29 But it is what it is.
01:31 I'm not going to let it tarnish our friendship on track.
01:35 But I am pissed.
01:37 And I feel like I should be pissed.
01:38 But I'm sure tuning into action is detrimental.
01:42 He'll have a long clip about it.
01:44 >> You race him differently on track then?
01:46 >> I think at this point I have to, right?
01:49 Like I said, I've never had to apologize to him about anything.
01:53 Anything I've done on the racetrack.
01:55 I can count four or five times where he's had to reach out to me.
01:58 Oh, man, sorry, I put you in a bad spot there.
02:01 Whatever.
02:02 So eventually, like he says, you got to start raising people a certain way to get the respect
02:07 back.
02:08 So I mean, he pulled the same move on Ross last year.
02:11 Which Ross probably deserved it, right?
02:14 With all the stuff that he's done to Denny in his career, again, I haven't done that
02:21 to Denny.
02:22 So I don't think I deserve to be, you know, run into before I ever got to the wall.
02:27 So just it is what it is.
02:31 I'm going to go race the sprint car on Tuesday night.
02:34 I'm going to forget about it here in a few hours.
02:37 And that's the best medicine for a tough result.
02:40 So look forward to getting the 57 sprint car on Tuesday at Grandview and move on to Richmond.
02:46 A very frustrated Kyle Larson comes home in the 21st position.
