Do the Denver Broncos Need more Help on the OL?

  • last year
The Denver Broncos invested a lot of money into the offensive line in the offseason, but do they need more help there, especially at guard or center?

00:00 Abrima John, thank you for being in the stream this evening.
00:04 Welcome, thank you for the question.
00:06 Wants to know, Zach, how is the Broncos inside offensive line unit?
00:12 So when you look at the starting trio, or at least projected starting trio,
00:17 we know for sure it's going to be Ben Powers, the left guard.
00:21 We know with probably like 90% surety that it'll be Lloyd Cushenberry at center.
00:27 And probably like 99% surety that it'll be Quinn Miners at right guard.
00:32 Behind them, who do you got?
00:33 Seventh round rookie, center, Alex Forsythe.
00:37 You've got Kyle Fuller, a kind of journeyman veteran interior guy,
00:42 has snapped to Russell Wilson in regular season games in the past for
00:45 what it's worth.
00:46 Who else am I missing?
00:48 Luke Wattenberg.
00:49 But who else am I maybe missing as interior guys?
00:53 >> No one important.
00:54 And I was gonna say to answer the question that it falls off dramatically after
00:58 the starters.
00:59 The Broncos are really good with Miners and Ben Powers, but
01:03 I would love a veteran to come in there,
01:05 kind of like Cameron Fleming just to solidify that unit.
01:09 I don't think the Broncos, Chad, are done here though, similar to kicker.
01:12 They're gonna let camp play out maybe a preseason game or two, and
01:16 then sign a veteran who gets cut or who's trimmed down on the 53 man cut day.
01:21 They can't be done here.
01:22 They have to add some experience because if Miners or
01:25 Ben Powers goes down, God forbid, they're in trouble.
