00:12 Just wanted to get in your words, why is Eugene gonna be home for you?
00:16 >> Man, football is a big part of my life.
00:18 I love the game of football.
00:19 I just wanna play ball and get developed.
00:21 And I feel like, man, it's no better place than Oregon.
00:24 If you wanna play defense out west, you come to Oregon, it's pretty simple.
00:28 So yeah, I just wanna play defense for Oregon for sure.
00:31 >> See, it's interesting that you say that because Oregon hasn't always been
00:34 known for their defense.
00:36 >> For sure. >> When did that kinda click for you?
00:39 That if you wanna play defense, you go to Oregon.

00:43 their background speaks for itself.
00:45 So just taking a deep dive into their background and
00:47 talking with them one on one, I know for sure.
00:50 I feel like me personally, from my situation,
00:53 inside linebacker position, Coach Dan Lanning, Coach Tasha Boyd,
00:56 Coach V Mike are the best to do what they do when it comes to developing linebackers

01:00 >> So you were a former USC commit, and I talked to you on the day that you
01:04 decommitted, you told me that Oregon now has led since then.
01:10 Why was it that Oregon led?
01:11 What was it like going through that process?
01:13 >> I know for sure, I've been talking to Oregon since.
01:15 They've offered me, they have a plan, and they're separating a natty back west, and
01:19 they're not playing.
01:20 We wanna play football and get developed, and they want the best of the best players,
01:23 and they feel like I'm one of the best of the best players.
01:26 So I've been wanting to go to Oregon since then.
01:29 >> So now that you're committed, Dylan, a lot of times guys go from recruit to
01:32 recruiter.
01:33 There's some guys you're hoping join the Ducks in this 24 class?
01:36 >> Yeah, I'm really right now just focusing on getting Dakota Fields.
01:40 He's a USC commit right now.
01:42 I really want him to come play with me and
01:44 come be on the same side as me and come play up in Eugene for sure.
01:48 >> Last one for you, Dylan, heading into your senior year at Poly.
01:51 What's the mindset?
01:52 What's the goal?
01:53 >> Man, we, Poly, we looking for state championship.
01:56 I just wanna guide my young guys and show them a way.
01:59 Cuz I never expected to be a big recruit.
02:02 I always hear that the numbers, a 1% chance that you go play D1.
02:05 I just wanna show my young guys that it's the way.
02:07 I wanna be one of the best linebackers to ever come out of Poly.
02:10 I wanna be the best linebacker in the area, also while carrying my team for sure.
