Transcript
00:00 Today we've got all our internal teams going. We've got six teams competing at the moment for this season.
00:05 It's a very tight tussle right now. We've still got new kids coming, which is brilliant.
00:10 We've got quite a few girls now starting to turn up as well, which is excellent because that
00:16 hopefully leads us into having a girls team in the next couple of years in Ballarat League.
00:22 A lot of these kids will then make up another team to go back into Ballarat League next year,
00:26 which is where we want to get back to them and get back to be.
00:29 It's a huge challenge for these kids, but they're working really, really hard to get there.
00:34 Friday night they turn up at training at 5.30 and go until about 6.37, sometimes a little bit later.
00:40 What we're doing and how we're going.
00:42 And then Sundays from 12.30 onwards we have games.
00:45 So we have three games every week.
00:47 Two early ones and then a later one and they all rotate as to
00:50 whether using the big goals or the small goals or the later game or the early game.
00:54 But pretty much evens out throughout the year.
00:57 And then come the end of the year, we'll have a semi-final weekend and then a grand final weekend,
01:02 which also include a kids versus parents match.
01:04 Women's World Cup is going on at the moment. Has that seen any uptick in trend for people to come down here?
01:10 Not yet.
01:11 But I know the girls and some other families are really red hot on following it, as myself.
01:17 Only just not happy that not every game is televised like the men's. It should be.
01:22 It irritates me that it's not.
