Avengers BLOOD STOLEN From ENDGAME BATTLE Secret Invasion Confirms
Transcript
00:00 Welcome back to New Rock Stars, I'm Eric Vos.
00:01 In Avengers Endgame's final battle and aftermath
00:04 and a deeper conspiracy unfolding in the background.
00:06 Avengers blood being harvested by Nick Fury
00:09 and his Skrull associates according to Secretivation.
00:12 This is perhaps the most significant revelation
00:14 Marvel has made about the events of Endgame
00:16 in the past four years.
00:17 And when you go back to look at that film,
00:18 it actually lines up with a number of loose ends
00:21 I've always been curious about.
00:22 In particular, one new detail I just discovered
00:24 that I don't think anyone ever noticed
00:26 and I'll get to at the end of this video.
00:28 Now, I guessed it on a few episodes of The Break Room
00:30 this week and they're really important to me,
00:31 so please check them out.
00:32 As well as my analysis of Jaws,
00:34 my favorite movie to watch with my dad
00:36 over on the Deep Dive channel.
00:37 And quick note, SAG-AFTRA has informed us
00:39 that entertainment journalism outlets like New Rock Stars
00:42 are allowed to analyze movies and TV shows
00:44 without violating any strike rules.
00:45 This is not a paid promotion of anything.
00:47 We support the actors and writers on strike
00:48 and we join their call to the AMPTP
00:50 to come back to the table and negotiate in good faith.
00:54 Okay, on Secretivation this season,
00:55 part of the shape-shifting alien Skrull's plot
00:57 has been to acquire the Harvest,
00:59 the codename for an operation orchestrated by Nick Fury
01:01 during the events of Avengers Endgame
01:03 to gather blood shed by the Avengers
01:05 during the Battle of Earth
01:06 using a team of Skrulls led by Gravik.
01:08 - Nearly every Avenger spilled blood in the Battle of Earth,
01:13 even Carol Danvers.
01:14 In the aftermath, some were sent in to collect that DNA,
01:18 some with the ability to blend in.
01:22 Nobody knew about them but me and the collectors, led by--
01:27 - Gravik.
01:28 - So this very much recontextualizes
01:30 how we should look at the events of Avengers Endgame.
01:32 In the aftermath of that final battle,
01:33 Nick Fury snuck in a whole team of Skrulls
01:35 to that battlefield cleanup operation
01:37 to gather Avenger DNA.
01:38 As of episode five of Secretivation,
01:40 Gravik's Skrull team was unsuccessful
01:42 at finding any actual Avenger DNA
01:44 as Fury moved its location
01:45 to a secret drop site in Finland,
01:47 one of his many fake headstones
01:49 that required his breath to open up,
01:50 showing some DNA in clear fluid in a vial.
01:53 Now as of episode five,
01:54 it's not clear if this is multiple Avengers DNA.
01:56 If so, it was all in one vial.
01:58 It would surely be cross-contaminated
02:00 and very difficult to extract,
02:01 or if really this is just one Avengers DNA,
02:03 like Carol Danvers.
02:04 She was the one that Nick Fury singled out,
02:06 potentially the most valuable Avenger DNA,
02:08 because cosmic radiation and flight and speed
02:10 are power sets not currently represented
02:12 in the four enhanced DNA
02:13 currently in possession by the Skrulls.
02:14 Groot, Extremis, Cull Obsidian, Frost Giant,
02:17 and that covers near invulnerability and rapid healing
02:19 and limb extension, resistance to heat and power manipulation,
02:22 big boy brute strength, and resistance to extreme cold.
02:25 But if you go back and look closely
02:27 at the final half hour of Avengers Endgame,
02:29 there are just a number of standout moments
02:30 that now come under a different light.
02:32 For example, we don't actually see
02:33 Carol Danvers bleed on screen.
02:35 As she fights Thanos one-on-one,
02:36 Thanos headbutts her, but there's no effect,
02:38 which freaks Thanos out,
02:40 so he grabs the Power Stone out of the gauntlet,
02:41 and Carol makes a hilarious, "Oh, shit!"
02:44 face before Thanos super smashes her out of frame.
02:46 This is really the worst injury Carol suffers in the battle,
02:48 and it would have been the likeliest moment
02:50 she actually bled.
02:50 We don't really see her again until after the battle,
02:52 but in a deleted scene where all the Avengers take a knee,
02:54 she does look a little bruised up after that punch.
02:57 So after Tony Stark dies,
02:58 some time passes until the day of his funeral,
03:00 when every key player really in the MCU is in attendance,
03:03 including Nick Fury, who you'll notice
03:05 just watches from the front porch of Tony's house.
03:07 He stands apart from everyone else,
03:08 watching everyone suspiciously, as always.
03:10 And now, I think that just aligns with the fact
03:12 that Nick Fury now, we learn, was at that moment
03:15 ordering Skrulls to sift through the rubble
03:17 to harvest Avenger DNA.
03:18 In fact, he may have waited until the day of the funeral
03:21 when he knew that the other Avengers would be distracted,
03:23 because our man, Nick Fury, never misses an opportunity.

04:33 Now, in many videos over the years,
04:34 I have pointed out a mysterious helicopter
04:36 in the background of this scene
04:37 where Hulk, Steve, Sam, and Bucky
04:39 re-engineer the Quantum Tunnel platform.
04:41 A helicopter carries some cargo
04:43 away from the rubble of the battlefield,
04:44 and I think now we can assume
04:46 that those were the Skrulls
04:48 of Nick Fury's Harvest Operation.
04:49 We also have to remind ourselves of the timeline
04:51 of Fury's relationship with the Skrulls.
04:53 In the late '90s, Nick Fury met Gravik
04:54 when Gravik was a teenager,
04:55 and recruited Gravik to be part
04:57 of his clandestine network.
04:58 In episode three of "Sacred Invasion,"
04:59 Talos claimed that all of Fury's espionage career
05:02 advances over the years,
05:03 with S.H.I.E.L.D. and Project Pegasus in 2012,
05:05 his Project Insight plan,
05:06 and Captain America Winter Soldier.
05:07 Even when Nick Fury went rogue
05:08 and had a loose network known as Fury's crew
05:10 around the time of "Avengers Age of Ultron" and "Civil War,"
05:12 Fury's Skrull partners were there
05:13 the whole time helping him.
05:15 But then in 2018,
05:16 during the events of "Avengers Infinity War,"
05:17 Fury, of course, dusted as a result of Thanos' snap,
05:20 and everyone who dusted returned
05:21 right before the Battle of Earth,
05:22 when Bruce Banner snapped the new Stark Infinity Gauntlet.
05:25 So Fury wouldn't have had that much time
05:27 to reorient himself in the streets of New York,
05:29 realize what had been going on upstate with the battle,
05:31 and then get back in touch with the Skrull network
05:33 to begin Operation Harvest.
05:34 That would have been a real quick turnaround
05:36 in which some of the Skrulls, perhaps Gravik,
05:38 would have been like, "Oh, hey, Fury.
05:39 "We've been getting by just fine without you
05:41 "over these past five years.
05:42 "You want us to do what now?
05:43 "Who are you to boss us around, old man?"
05:46 Who's actually five years younger than he should be.
05:48 It just sounds like these post-Endgame weeks
05:50 were a critical transition period for Fury and the Skrulls,
05:53 because not only did Operation Harvest take place,
05:55 Fury shortly after this launched the Saber Space Station
05:58 and set up Earth's defenses from orbit
06:00 with a different group of Skrulls on that space station
06:02 and left it to Talos back on Earth to do things like
06:05 make sure Tony Stark's Edith glasses
06:06 got handed off to Peter Parker.
06:07 In fact, Fury's very acquisition of those Edith glasses
06:10 might have been part of Operation Harvest.
06:12 Get to all this stuff before the DODC does.
06:14 And since Happy Hogan swiped some Stark tech too,
06:16 as we saw in Spider-Man No Way Home,
06:18 he must have gone through the rubble shortly
06:19 after Fury and the Skrulls did.
06:21 So this week after Endgame,
06:22 really I think we should call Fury's second big week.
06:24 And now after episode five of Secret Invasion,
06:26 I think it would be when the Skrulls,
06:28 without Fury's consent, might have snatched
06:30 James Rhodes' Rhodey War Machine
06:32 and had Raava, the Skrull, replace him.
06:34 I've been saying that the Rhodey we saw
06:35 in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier
06:36 might have been a Skrull,
06:37 but now I think Rhodey on the day of Stark's funeral
06:40 might have been one as well.
06:41 I think that's why Fury was eyeing that DOC
06:43 so suspiciously.
06:44 Now before the funeral procession,
06:46 they played Tony's goodbye message from his helmet
06:48 in the living room for Pepper, Morgan, Happy Hogan,
06:50 and there is a moment where Rhodey looks over at the others
06:53 as if calculating how one should react to this.
06:56 And then on the DOC comes a detail I never noticed before.
06:58 Pepper lays a wreath on the lake
07:00 and then look at Rhodey and Happy.
07:01 They hug and holy shit,
07:03 they totally say something to each other here.
07:05 I never noticed because all we hear
07:07 is Alan Silvestri's music,
07:08 whatever they said had been muted.
07:09 But Favreau definitely says something
07:11 and Cheadle definitely responds.
07:13 I'm not the best lip reader,
07:14 but it looks like Happy says, "Hey man,"
07:16 and then he mumbles something and then Rhodey responds.
07:19 It almost looks like the phrase, "We took him home."
07:21 It's something, something, something,
07:22 but the last word looks like home.
07:24 Now I've speculated before that Happy Hogan
07:26 might also be a possible Skrull candidate,
07:28 someone who might have been a Skrull for a long time.
07:30 And if Rhodey had been swapped at this point,
07:32 that would make two Skrulls talking to each other.
07:34 And of course the idea of home, home in my own skin,
07:37 is an important theme for the nomadic Skrull people.
07:39 So I wanna know what you think
07:41 about this new interpretation of Avengers Endgame
07:42 and are there any other Skrulls
07:44 hiding in the background that you noticed?
07:45 Thank you for watching.
