00:00 It took mere moments after
00:01 the news breaking that Brani James
00:03 had suffered a cardiac arrest for
00:05 right wingers to begin spinning
00:07 opportunistic conspiracy theories
00:09 about the COVID vaccine.
00:10 That got a real big boost by
00:13 Elon Musk, who decided to just ask
00:15 questions saying, we cannot
00:17 ascribe everything to the vaccine,
00:20 but by the same token,
00:21 we cannot ascribe nothing.
00:23 Myocarditis is a known side effect.
00:25 The only question is whether it's
00:26 rare or common.
00:27 Now, there's a lot of active
00:29 misinformation just in that, but
00:31 we're way past just Elon Musk's
00:34 tweet, right wing media has gone
00:36 crazy over this, take a look.
00:38 >> Well, today Elon Musk was
00:41 pilloried for suggesting that
00:43 the COVID shot might have had
00:45 something to do with what happened
00:47 to Brani.
00:48 Now, he may be completely wrong,
00:49 it's speculation.
00:50 But we do know that myocarditis is
00:52 a side effect of the vaccine and
00:54 given everything the so-called
00:56 experts got wrong during COVID,
00:58 we shouldn't condemn anyone who's
01:00 asking questions.
01:01 >> People are angry at Elon Musk,
01:04 because Elon Musk rightly pointed
01:06 out that with young athletes,
01:09 there has been a higher incidence
01:11 of myocarditis.
01:12 Now, do I know that that was
01:14 the case here?
01:15 I have no idea, I'm thankful that
01:17 they were able to save this young
01:19 man, and that apparently he's going
01:22 to be okay, that's what I heard.
01:24 But however, I do think that we
01:26 need to look into this issue of
01:28 myocarditis more deeply, and
01:30 aneurysms more deeply, and
01:32 other impacts, and is any of it
01:34 associated with COVID or vaccines?
01:37 I don't know, but Elon Musk got
01:39 eviscerated for suggesting that we
01:42 ask the question.
01:43 >> By the way, I forgot to tell
01:45 you, big news next hour.
01:46 Elon Musk came out and
01:47 said he thinks it's the shot.
01:49 He thinks LeBron James is from
01:51 the shot.
01:51 Elon Musk suggests 18-year-old
01:54 Brani James,
01:55 cardiac arrest due to vaccine
01:57 injury, myocarditis.
01:59 Yeah, you can't stop the signal.
02:02 You thought Alex Jones was
02:03 a problem?
02:04 Now you got Elon Musk,
02:05 Tucker Carlson, and
02:07 Joe Rogan on your ass.
02:08 [LAUGH] The Lord works in
02:12 mysterious ways.
02:15 Praise God, praise Jesus.
02:18 >> Praise God that we can take
02:21 a tragedy that a family's currently
02:23 suffering from and use it for
02:25 our own devices.
02:26 [LAUGH] We've now linked
02:28 myocarditis and pneumoniacs and
02:31 all sorts of diseases.
02:33 You do not get to claim to be
02:35 a serious person asking serious
02:37 questions about a condition that
02:40 you don't even know what the word
02:42 is.
02:43 It's not myocarditis.
02:45 Anyway, the main issue is not just
02:48 that they're immediately saying,
02:50 as they do when anyone notable gets
02:53 sick, let alone dies.
02:54 They will immediately say it was
02:56 caused by the vaccine.
02:56 It doesn't need to be something
02:58 that's tied to the vaccine.
02:59 They don't need to know if
03:00 the person was vaccinated.
03:02 That's not the fundamental
03:03 problem here.
03:03 The fundamental problem is the way
03:05 that they are openly deceiving you
03:08 about what Elon Musk was doing and
03:10 trying to re-spin the narrative of
03:12 it, that he's just asking
03:14 questions.
03:15 Why are you all freaking out when
03:17 he's just suggesting boldly,
03:19 bravely, that we should look into
03:21 this as a connection?
03:23 I don't know.
03:24 Maybe because that's not the bold,
03:26 brave stance you think it is.
03:28 You know who does ask those
03:29 questions.
03:30 You know who tries to answer those
03:32 questions, effing scientists and
03:34 doctors.
03:35 They already have.
03:36 There are already studies looking
03:38 into specifically this thing that
03:39 you just are asking questions
03:41 about.
03:41 No association between out of
03:43 hospital cardiac arrest and
03:44 COVID-19 vaccination.
03:46 You can go read that if you're
03:47 actually interested in this.
03:49 They are, of course,
03:50 not actually interested in this.
03:52 They just like the idea that it
03:54 could be due to the vaccine.
03:55 And then they throw out other
03:57 dishonesty right there.
03:59 Elon Musk, Sean Hannity says,
04:01 is just noticing that there's just
04:03 a lot more of this.
04:05 First of all,
04:05 how has he demonstrated that?
04:07 That there's more of it?
04:09 Are we five years old?
04:11 Can we not distinguish between
04:13 the fact that a person with
04:14 a notable name suffered a tragic
04:16 health condition, and that means
04:18 more of it is happening?
04:19 Now, it could be that more of that
04:21 is happening.
04:22 That's the sort of thing that
04:24 actual scientists look into.
04:26 With the scientific method,
04:27 look it up.
04:28 But simply just saying, a famous
04:30 person got something, so clearly
04:31 it's due to the thing that I've
04:33 been demonizing for
04:34 the last few years, is not actually
04:36 a scientifically rigorous
04:38 position as you seem to think it is.
04:40 I've got more,
04:40 including more studies that they
04:42 won't care about, but JR,
04:43 what do you think?
04:44 >> Well, damn, John, coming in hot,
04:45 it's kind of hard to follow.
04:47 But this is the thing,
04:48 speaking of it's happening more
04:49 often, the occurrences of it keep
04:51 going down.
04:52 These are the people who are
04:54 exhibiting how much they would
04:55 control the general conversation
04:57 around topics.
04:58 Just because you talk about it
05:00 more doesn't mean it's happening
05:01 more, you're just talking about it
05:03 more.
05:04 And by the way, the way that
05:05 they're talking about it is,
05:07 what we do know, no study,
05:08 no examples, no evidence, nobody
05:10 that's actually saying what you do
05:12 know, you just said you know it
05:13 because you said you know it.
05:15 Why do I think that you know it?
05:16 Because you've convinced enough
05:17 people, once you've convinced them
05:19 of that, you can just go into any
05:21 news report and say,
05:22 what I do know is this.
05:23 Why should I trust that you know
05:24 what you're doing?
05:25 You're working for a news station
05:27 that literally had to fire their
05:29 biggest, most successful anchor and
05:31 host because he's lying, and
05:33 the rest of them are lying and
05:35 behind the scenes covering up what
05:37 they were saying to their audience.
05:39 So why should we trust what you
05:40 know from recent history is
05:42 nothing, actually what you know is
05:44 the truth, but you lie about it
05:46 openly to your audience.
05:47 Not knowing, so
05:48 calm down with all that.
05:49 But number two,
05:50 is Alex Jones is celebrating
05:51 this whole thing.
05:52 Look at all these people now
05:53 talking about it.
05:54 Elon Musk, me, Sean Hannity,
05:56 Fox News, a murderous row of people
05:58 who will continue to lie to you.
06:00 Yes, Alex Jones was on the upper
06:02 echelon of that because of how loud
06:03 he is, but doesn't mean he's not
06:05 saying the exact same things that
06:06 they were saying, don't forget.
06:08 I think people are starting to
06:09 forget this, as much of an outcast
06:11 as Alex Jones has begun to become.
06:13 Donald Trump was his best friend,
06:15 he showed up on his show,
06:17 he talked to me,
06:18 promoted him and all that.
06:20 So this wasn't some outside fringe
06:21 figure that had no connection to
06:22 Donald Trump, the administration,
06:24 the Republicans everywhere.
06:25 Because he's the exact same
06:26 position, even though he's on this
06:28 outward streaming show,
06:29 versus a Sean Hannity and
06:30 Laura Ingraham and the Fox News
06:31 folks, they're all on the same
06:33 playing level field when it comes
06:34 to people who listen to this
06:35 madness.
06:36 And again, how much do they care
06:37 about LeBron James and
06:38 his son before, when LeBron James
06:40 was talking about police brutality
06:42 and black folks being hunted down
06:43 in the streets every effing day?
06:45 How much did they care about
06:46 LeBron James and his son then?
06:47 About as much as they do now,
06:49 as they're using him for
06:50 their next benefit.
06:51 It's the same thing every time,
06:52 we hate that black athlete, but
06:54 once we can use his black son for
06:55 our benefit and our lives, all
06:57 the same, we love talking about
06:58 it, it's weird how that works.
07:00 >> And conveniently, it not only
07:02 helps to advance their argument
07:04 that the vaccine causes
07:05 myocarditis, but also, hey,
07:07 we get to look like we care about
07:09 what happened to a black person,
07:11 isn't that convenient?
07:13 So in addition to their asking
07:15 questions that they're so
07:16 disinterested in actually having
07:18 answers to that they didn't even
07:20 look into whether this has been
07:22 studied, which it has, they don't
07:24 care that the CDC has already done
07:26 analyses of this, the results of
07:28 which span many countries showing
07:30 that, yes, myocarditis was
07:32 a side effect of the first gen
07:34 vaccines.
07:34 In some cases, it was extremely
07:37 rare, but it was found.
07:38 It was far more common from people
07:40 who'd suffered COVID, which is not
07:43 hard to understand because
07:44 myocarditis is generally caused by
07:47 viral infections.
07:48 It's inflammation in the middle
07:50 layer of the muscle of the heart as
07:52 a result of viral infections
07:53 generally.
07:54 Now, the side effect of the body
07:55 adapting to a new vaccine can
07:57 temporarily cause mild symptoms of
07:59 that, but as the CDC has repeatedly
08:01 pointed out, severe forms of
08:02 myocarditis, which are an actual
08:04 threat to people's lives, are far
08:06 more common with the virus than
08:08 the vaccine.
08:09 And also, I would like to throw out
08:11 more facts that they will
08:12 completely ignore.
08:13 It sucks that following a pandemic,
08:16 an athlete like Bronny James can
08:19 just keel over with cardiac arrest.
08:22 And as I was saying earlier in
08:24 the show about conspiracism and
08:26 why it develops, it sucks to know
08:28 that we live in a world where there
08:31 is chaos like that.
08:32 That someone who looks like they're
08:34 not just in good health, but
08:35 they're impressive athletes,
08:37 they're in the best of health.
08:38 How could they possibly keel over?
08:40 Well, here's the thing,
08:41 you might want to construct some
08:43 sort of conspiratorial worldview
08:44 that makes that conceivable to you.
08:46 And if that's a more convenient,
08:48 warm, cozy place to live,
08:49 then do it.
08:50 But unfortunately, those of us who
08:52 want to live in the real world have
08:54 to contend with the real world.
08:55 And in the real world,
08:57 you know what sucks maybe even more
08:59 than the fact that it happened
09:00 to Bronny James?
09:01 It's that it happens, and
09:04 not just post COVID.
09:06 It took maybe two minutes for
09:08 me to find all of this.
09:10 2011 study, sudden cardiac death in
09:12 young athletes, a literature review
09:14 and special considerations in Asia.
09:16 Okay, this is from 2009,
09:17 sudden deaths in young competitive
09:19 athletes, analysis of 1866 deaths
09:22 in the US over a less than three
09:23 decade period.
09:24 Almost 2,000 people suddenly
09:27 keeling over despite being in
09:29 apparently very good health.
09:31 Myocarditis in the athlete,
09:33 very specifically myocarditis,
09:35 the American College of Cardiology,
09:38 that's 2018.
09:39 This is not a new thing.
09:42 It's not difficult to discover that
09:44 it's not a new thing.
09:45 It takes literally just moments to
09:46 find that out.
09:47 But it wasn't just caused by
09:49 the vaccine.
09:50 It wasn't even just caused by
09:52 COVID.
09:53 It's a thing that can happen
09:54 because we live in a cruel world,
09:56 okay, where chaotic things happen.
09:59 But that doesn't mean that you need
10:01 to suddenly try to convince yourself
10:02 that there are literal lizard men
10:04 in the White House and people eating
10:06 baby faces to make sense out of
10:07 the world that is unfortunately not
10:09 everything we wish it was.
10:11 What happened to Brani James,
10:13 what happened to the James family
10:15 is a tragedy, equally a tragedy to
10:17 the literally thousands of families
10:19 in the US and abroad where this has
10:21 happened and will continue to
10:22 happen regardless of vaccines and
10:24 COVID.
10:25 Apologies, JR.
10:27 >> No worries.
10:28 Yeah, no, by the way, there's only
10:30 one other thing really I had to say
10:32 about as far as these guys and
10:33 their propaganda on this whole
10:35 thing is Elon Musk tweeted about it.
10:37 Elon Musk, who's Elon Musk?
10:38 Elon Musk is a guy who inherited a
10:40 bunch of money and invested in some
10:42 businesses and does nothing as far
10:43 as those things is the smart aspects
10:45 of those businesses, but he just
10:47 puts his name on it as he did with
10:49 Twitter and then starts destroying
10:51 that and whatever ways he wants to
10:53 mold it within himself.
10:54 So again, he's a guy who has money
10:56 and does whatever he wants with it.
10:57 Why does that qualify him to say
10:59 anything about this?
11:00 And then to force other folks that
11:01 are in the news business,
11:03 I guess journalism you may
11:04 sometimes call it, to discuss what
11:06 he talked about by just
11:07 piggybacking on the backs of it.
11:09 This is a big indication and
11:10 illustration the way we as
11:12 Americans take information.
11:13 If the guy has money, no matter
11:15 what field he's in, no matter what
11:17 he's ever done in his life,
11:19 because he's got money,
11:20 we automatically go Elon Musk said
11:22 this, therefore it's true.
11:24 Why?
11:25 Because he's got money.
11:27 He's got money.
11:28 So therefore we should believe
11:29 anything he says that has been
11:30 absolutely and obviously debunked
11:32 by everyone that's surrounding him,
11:34 who actually know what they're
11:35 talking about, debunked the things
11:37 that he said, but he's got money
11:38 that's why we should believe him.
11:40 But oddly, the same time,
11:41 the reason we shouldn't believe
11:43 scientists is because this crazy
11:45 thing, listen, because they're
11:46 going to make money off of it.
11:48 [LAUGH] >> I know.
11:49 >> What sense does any of this
11:50 make?
11:51 And by the way, that's a lie.
11:52 So the scientists are trying to
11:54 make money off it according
11:55 to conservatives.
11:56 And that's why they're pushing
11:58 this because some deep state dark
12:00 figure named Brandon is paying
12:02 them to lie on the scientific deep
12:04 scientific studies that the 99% of
12:06 the scientific community agrees
12:08 on.
12:08 They're trying to make money off
12:09 it so we shouldn't believe them.
12:11 But the guy who has money based off
12:12 nothing around this, we should
12:14 believe because he's got money.
12:15 >> Yeah.
12:16 >> Sorry, just I had to repeat it
12:18 one more time just to make sure
12:19 that it made any sense because
12:20 it doesn't.
12:21 >> Yeah, to simplify it,
12:22 billionaires are better than us.
12:23 They're smarter than us and
12:25 you should trust them over the
12:26 evidence of your lying eyes.
12:28 That's what many of these people
12:30 actually believe and all of them
12:32 believe that they are truth seekers
12:34 and all that when all they do all
12:36 day online is just find something
12:38 warm to stick their head in so
12:40 that they don't have to contend
12:42 with how the world really is.
