00:00 Well before we turn to the formalities of the day, look, words really don't do the job
00:07 of expressing just how we're feeling with the news of the body that's been discovered.
00:13 We just want to thank our police and emergency service personnel who've worked so hard to
00:21 bring this matter to justice, ultimately.
00:24 This is a really important day for justice, but it's a tragic day for the family and we
00:30 grieve with them.
00:31 As parents ourselves, we just can't imagine how hard it's going to be for them today and
00:38 in coming days.
00:40 And on behalf of the government, I can say that our whole community will be standing
00:44 with the loved ones of the deceased.
00:48 We're just tragically affected by this and grateful at least that police have done such
00:55 a wonderful job in what will be a difficult day for many, many Tasmanian people and families,
01:02 but in particular, the loved ones.
01:04 Obviously, I'll leave the further detail to the police, but we did really want to express
01:09 today on behalf of the government and on behalf of the people of Tasmania, just how tragically
01:14 affected we all feel about this and our hearts really do go out to the people who are loved
01:20 by that victim.
01:23 And we'll leave that there.
