00:23 a little bit and talk about what Women of Worth is, where it comes from and where it's
00:29 going to.
00:30 Ladies and gentlemen, please help me welcome on stage Outlook Business Editor N. Mahalakshmi.
00:50 Ladies and gentlemen, lots of ladies and the few, especially the few gentlemen who are
00:55 accompanying the ladies.
00:58 Such an overwhelming response from Bangalore for their first ever event.

01:15 So I'm very proud to say that we are the youngest business magazine in the country.
01:19 We are thirteen years old.
01:22 And but we have been the fastest growing magazine and I'm very proud to say that now we are
01:27 the second largest red business magazine in the country.
01:30 And this has really been made possible because of our starkly differentiated content.
01:36 And one of the beautifulest example of… examples of that is the Women of Worth platform
01:42 that we created four years ago.
01:44 When most other publications focused on powerful women, most influential women and they were
01:51 repetitive names, we decided that we needed to tell the most inspirational stories of
01:56 women entrepreneurs.
01:58 And there were a whole bunch of skeptics.
01:59 They said the idea is great but after two years Mahalakshmi, rest assured you're going
02:03 to be scratching your head and thinking whom am I going to profile because there aren't
02:08 so many women entrepreneurs who really scaled up businesses and will be worthy of making
02:14 very brilliant stories in your magazine.
02:16 And to our delight, after three years we figured that we had enough and more stories and very
02:22 less space in the magazine to cover so many beautiful stories.
02:26 So last year we decided that we needed to do more and we decided to create a portal
02:30 which is live now, wow.outlookbusiness.com.
02:35 And this space and the platform is very, very, very important for us and super special for
02:43 me personally because we've done something people were not really gung-ho about and it's
02:49 become much bigger than what we anticipated.
02:53 And it's going to be a far larger platform than just the portal and the magazine stories.
02:59 We are extremely excited about it and I'm really, truly touched, delighted about the
03:06 overwhelming response in Bangalore.
