00:00 It is wrong to send children under the age of 12 to work in the house.
00:05 This is wrong, legally and morally.
00:07 I have not seen the visuals of 15 year old Rizwana since I saw him.
00:11 I have not seen him properly yet.
00:15 Because he is so scary.
00:17 It would be enough to shock any Zeeshowar society.
00:21 But it doesn't make any difference to us.
00:23 He is an administrative officer of Islamabad complex.
00:26 He and his wife's house, who know the law and implement it.
00:31 This girl was working in their house.
00:33 The way he was killed, I would recommend a psychiatric treatment or analysis.
00:39 How can a small girl be killed?
00:41 The development that has taken place is that at least in FIR,
00:45 those charges have been included which the civil society wanted to include from day one.
00:50 The case of breaking freedom, 328A, has been included.
00:56 When the girl was killed by the wife of civil judge Asim Hafeez,
00:59 this punishment was not included.
01:02 Before this, the case filed in FIR was a warrant and we saw that it was also found.
01:06 The case 328A has been filed in the light of medical report.
01:10 Islamabad police filed this case only to keep the case in the mind of the accused and to threaten to kill.
01:16 And because of the weak FIR, the wife of civil judge Asim Hafeez of Islamabad had taken a bail from the court.
01:25 This is not the first incident as I told you.
01:27 This happened many times with girls before this.
01:29 But what happened after that?
01:31 Let's follow up on those cases.
01:32 In 2017, a 9 year old girl, Akhtar Hussain, was killed by her owners.
01:37 And the child died.
01:40 Her owner was a Rukun parliament.
01:43 He was a powerful man and power dynamics matter a lot.
01:47 After a deal between Akhtar and his parents, the court acquitted him.
01:53 In 2018, we all remember that 10 year old Taiba was shot dead by another session judge and his wife.
02:02 He was burned in the hand, he was kept in a wrong prison and he was killed.
02:07 In 2019, a 16 year old Uzma was found dead. She was also from a rich family in Lahore.
02:14 And her salary was only 4000 rupees.
02:18 And she was killed after being hit on the head.
02:21 In 2020, a 7 year old girl, Zehra was killed by her owners after they freed her from the cage.
02:29 In 2020, a 8 year old girl named Sana was shot dead.
02:34 In 2022, a 11 year old Kamran was shot dead. He was also shot dead.
02:40 There was no punishment in all these cases.
02:42 Either the case was settled or people made a mistake and their families are still doing legal work.
02:49 But how will all these families, lawyers and their families continue to pay the fees and continue to take the case forward.
02:58 There are many myths and myths about this.
03:01 When children work in other people's homes, the biggest criticism is that their lifestyle improves.
03:06 When they are taken out of poverty and go to rich or well-to-do families, their life improves.
03:14 The first myth is that we give jobs to poor children and reduce poverty in the society.
03:18 When you talk to such families and confront them, they give you the first reason.
03:22 The facts are exactly the opposite.
03:25 The facts about Green Development Pakistan's child labour and the pamphlet on facts are very dangerous.
03:33 Children's domestic workers are paid a small amount and sometimes they are kept for their parents' loans.
03:41 In addition, children's domestic workers work for a long time.
03:46 They are not able to access professional training programs and do not learn any useful skills.
03:52 They are not able to earn enough to improve their family's economic condition.
03:57 So, what you call improving the children's condition is not happening.
04:01 It is a statement based on lack of knowledge.
04:04 The second myth is that the owners do not give any difficult work to the children who work in their homes.
04:09 The employees can play with the children of the owners and can get all the toys that their parents cannot buy.
04:16 The facts are exactly the opposite.
04:19 Instead of playing with the children of the owners, the children who are busy with domestic work take care of them.
04:25 The children who are busy with domestic work are given responsibilities that are not suitable for their age.
04:30 They have to face severe discrimination.
04:33 The last myth is that the children who work at home are in a much better condition than their owners.
04:40 They get adequate food and comfortable conditions.
04:43 This is also not correct.
04:45 The facts are exactly the opposite.
04:49 The facts say that the children who are busy with domestic work are in a much better condition than their owners.
04:53 They can get burnt, injured, have to carry heavy loads, run the household appliances, use domestic chemicals and other chemicals.
05:03 The children who are busy with domestic work are separated from their families for a long time.
05:08 Often they are given inadequate food.
05:13 So these are all myths.
