00:15 The Medani treatment scheme is a joint project by the Government

00:18 to meet the health needs of B40s

00:22 who are in the care of patients with external illnesses.

00:24 The case-by-case ratio is currently 1.5.

00:27 The scheme is designed to meet the needs of B40s who are in the care of patients with external illnesses.

00:32 What are the benefits of this scheme?

00:36 In simple terms, B40s can receive free treatment at a private clinic

00:43 registered with the scheme

00:46 without having to go to the Government Hospital.

00:50 The next question is, what diseases can be treated through this scheme?

00:55 Such as fever and cold,

00:57 cough and cough,

00:58 cold,

00:59 headache,

01:00 mild trauma such as mild injuries, and so on.

01:04 This scheme has been in operation since 15 June 2023

01:07 which is beneficial to those receiving financial support.

01:11 If you are a recipient of the STR,

01:13 you will automatically qualify for this scheme.

01:18 But don't forget to register first.

01:22 There are 4 steps to enjoy this scheme.

01:26 First, register at the INGO Registration Office.

01:29 Enter your ID card number and click 'Register'.

01:33 If you are qualified,

01:34 the second step is to find a nearby private clinic

01:37 that has registered with this scheme at the INGO Registration Office.

01:41 Select the country, city and region.

01:43 Click 'Search'.

01:44 Select which clinic is closest to you.

01:47 Third, receive treatment at your chosen private clinic for free.

01:52 After receiving treatment,

01:54 the last step is to collect the credit for the scheme and clinic before going home.

01:59 The credit is for this scheme,

02:01 each family will receive RM250 for each household item,

02:06 RM125 for the goldsmiths without a partner,

02:09 and RM75 for the carpenter.

02:12 Every time you receive treatment,

02:14 the credit will be deducted.

02:16 Treatment can be made up to the deducted credit,

02:19 after being used.

02:21 The Minister and Finance Minister, Anwar Ibrahim,

02:24 announced that the health sector will receive the second largest deduction in 2023,

02:30 which is a total of RM36.3 billion.

02:40 Including Kuala Lumpur, Gombak, Kululangan, Kelang and Petaling in Selangor,

02:49 New Johor in Johor, Kota Kinabalu in Sabah and Kuching in Sarawak.

03:03 For example, Bergerak Clinic,

03:04 a health care scheme for the B40 group or in short, B40 workers,

03:10 for health samples, which is now being expanded, including diabetes samples.

03:15 People are also subsidized to do mammogram samples,

03:18 that is, initial samples to identify blood vessel cancer.

03:22 In addition to the Cancer Service Sample Program,

03:24 using high-tech equipment,

03:27 the newly introduced HPV DNA test.

03:31 Several hospital and clinic development projects are underway,

03:35 with 26 hospitals available to be expanded,

03:39 including the expansion of Kuala Kalsar Hospital in Perak,

03:43 Jelebu Hospital in Negeri Sembilan and Pontiang Hospital in Johor.

03:48 This treatment initiative is a government-funded project

03:52 providing special treatment assistance to the B40 group.
