00:00 - So Sophie, Brianna left season six off pregnant,
00:04 which is never especially safe on "Outlander."
00:08 So how much does this pregnancy and motherhood
00:12 weigh on your character for how season seven picks up?
00:17 - I think if I'm honest, season seven picks up
00:20 with Brianna feeling a little more content
00:22 about this pregnancy.
00:23 Obviously her one before wasn't under ideal circumstances
00:26 and it was a hard thing for her to navigate.
00:29 But given that she's given birth before now
00:31 in this time period,
00:32 and she's been pregnant in this time period,
00:33 I think she's a little more conditioned to it
00:36 and used to it.
00:37 And she's got Roger by her side now,
00:38 which is so much better.
00:40 And also in season six,
00:41 what I loved is that we had the storyline
00:43 that really showed the difficulty
00:44 of these two getting pregnant.
00:45 And so I think now the fact that she is,
00:48 she just feels so blessed and content and happy.
00:50 And she's got Roger by her side.
00:52 She has her family there.
00:53 So really I think her heart's just very full
00:55 and she's feeling a lot more relaxed
00:56 about this pregnancy and about the safety of it.
00:59 - Well, speaking of being blessed,
01:03 Roger at the end of last season,
01:05 he got the good news that he's Jemmy's biological father.
01:09 They got their matching haircuts.
01:10 He's gonna be a minister.
01:12 So he seemed very optimistic at the end of last season.
01:16 So do you see that as something that can
01:18 and will last into this season?
01:21 - Yeah, I think you're right.
01:25 He's very content, sort of happy.
01:27 He's finding his place there,
01:30 really settling as a family.
01:31 But if you know Outlander, nothing really lasts.
01:36 Something will come along to test them.
01:38 And yeah, but they are much more solid as a couple
01:43 and really, really supportive of each other.
01:49 So they're in a good place to kind of take on
01:53 anything that comes.
01:55 They won't necessarily always be right by each other's side,
02:01 which makes things a bit more difficult for them.
