00:00 Oh, it's good to be back. Everybody had a good summer, I hope.
00:04 Yeah.
00:05 That's good.
00:06 How was it ending the practice there in two minutes, having some success, finding the end zone?
00:10 Yeah, it was awesome to watch, you know, after a hot practice and everybody's pretty tired, but still executed at a high level.
00:17 And finish practice that way as an offense was awesome to see.
00:20 Ryan, physically, how are you feeling just given how everything went last season, getting back into the swing of things and, you know, practicing?
00:27 Yeah, I'm feeling good. You know, obviously we have a plan set in place coming into camp.
00:34 You know, we're executing right now and we're finding the best plan of attack to keep the knee feeling really good like it is right now.
00:42 And we're going to keep forward with that.
00:44 Ryan, your story is so unique, to say the least.
00:46 And I don't know, one day maybe they'll call it the Ryan Jensen method, like Tommy John, right?
00:50 But like, can you really take us through, you know, I know you ended up meeting Dr. Shelborn at some point,
00:56 and finally spent a year just tripping the care of your knee.
00:59 All of that is so remarkable.
01:01 But just what you went through, I think, was your suffering today.
01:05 Yeah, definitely. You know, there was a lot of decisions I had to make.
01:08 It's actually kind of funny, ironic today that it's actually a year from today that I got hurt and all that.
01:15 So, you know, it was a journey, that's for sure.
01:17 Right after, you know, you go get all the imaging done, all this and that, and you start sending out that to different doctors.
01:24 And, you know, like I had mentioned before, I had five separate opinions,
01:28 and ended up going with Dr. Shelborn, who thought that it was going to be better for me not to have an operation done,
01:35 and went that route.
01:37 So I'm feeling good. You know, ligaments are healthy and healed, and just ready to keep going.
01:43 Were those some tough days in the hotel room and that place?
01:46 Oh, I mean, it was very tough, you know, being away from the family for 10 days, you know,
01:51 after going through something like that. But it was, I think, the right thing to do for me and my knee.
01:57 How many people called you about it? Like, just even though, like, I don't know if you told your doctors or whatever,
02:02 but like, this is something that you probably want to hear from others about.
02:05 Yeah, definitely. I think I've gotten asked a couple different times from separate players that have gone through similar,
02:11 or, you know, have been injured, and asking if I have any regrets about going this route.
02:16 And frankly, I don't. I think it was the best thing that was for me.
02:20 Did you have to undergo any sort of procedure in the off-season or anything?
02:23 No. No, I haven't been cut open at all. And just the natural, natural slow.
