00:00 >> All right, TJ, here are the top people to team.
00:02 You're one of the guys that stuck out.
00:04 What's allowed you to kind of get to your game attacking the basket and
00:06 just showing overall skill?
00:08 >> Just being confident in my game, my hard work I've been putting in.
00:12 Since I started playing basketball, really this whole summer,
00:14 just being confident in my game, coming here,
00:16 knowing some of these guys, playing with them in my conference.
00:19 It's been real good playing with them and just kind of showing what I can do.
00:22 For real.
00:22 >> All right, what would you say is the competition level in a team environment
00:26 like this?
00:27 Sometimes it's like, [INAUDIBLE]
00:36 >> I mean, like you said, it's top 50.
00:37 All the best guys from each team, each HBCU team.
00:41 So I mean, real big competition.
00:43 Everybody's playing hard, everybody's trying to show what they can do.
00:45 So you just gotta bring it every game, for real.
00:49 >> When we talk about the top 50, it's a chance for
00:52 black college basketball to show its prowess.
00:53 We see all this stuff with football, Tron Bowl, Legacy Bowl.
00:58 Basketball is now in the spotlight.
00:59 How does it feel to kind of be a part of that and
01:00 help bring more black college basketball?
01:03 >> I mean, I'm really honored to play for HBCU, just kind of for
01:08 the black community, it's all, I mean, we got big time players in our conference and
01:12 the whole community.
01:13 So I mean, it feels good to be able to show what we can do.
01:17 Everybody here, just show them what they can do.
01:19 It feels real good.
01:20 >> And then last one, at the camp, what's something that you're looking forward to
01:25 as you're gearing up for the season, playing for black college basketball?
01:29 >> Well, just leading my team to a better season, a slight championship, for
01:33 real, that's our main goal, slight championship.
01:36 Just getting better as a team.
01:38 >> That's a question for me, just my Alabama state.
01:40 Because I know last year was very rough, trying to deal with things.
01:43 My day of rage is back.
01:45 Just need to walk into the comeback from injury, and I'm finished.
01:48 >> How do you guys feel about the team going to U2 and
01:50 you can talk to your teammates?
01:51 >> I mean, we are working this summer, man, we're all on the same page.
01:57 We're all glued in to the plan, the big goal, everybody's on one accord.
02:03 So I mean, we're gonna be right for sure.
02:05 >> I appreciate it.
