Hunters expartner drops bombshell Joe on speakerphone 20 times
Transcript
00:00 attorney and former investigator to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives Sam Dewey.
00:04 Sam, good morning to you.
00:06 Four-hour closed-door testimony.
00:08 Now we're getting the spin from both sides.
00:10 What are your top takeaways?
00:13 Two things.
00:14 The first is that it is extraordinary because it completely destroys Joe Biden's narrative,
00:20 had no idea, never talked to my son, was just not involved.
00:23 Joe Biden either very much was involved and knew what he was doing or was an ostrich with
00:29 his head in the sand.
00:31 It's one thing to say hello to your son's business partners.
00:34 You don't just get on an open speakerphone with your son's business partners.
00:39 When you're the vice president and control the policy, those business partners want to
00:44 influence.
00:45 Demi—
00:46 And then—
00:47 Yes, please continue.
00:48 Sorry.
00:49 And the second point is that we need to dig down and see what else there is, because documents
00:56 and records should exist that will either corroborate Archer or corroborate Biden.
01:01 And we need to get those.
01:02 OK, to that point, if you were leading this investigation, who would you want to talk
01:06 to next, based upon Devin Archer's reported comments yesterday?
01:12 So two things.
01:13 I think the most important thing is to continue to get the records, which Chairman Comer has
01:17 done a good job on getting the bank records.
01:19 I think you want to get other records, the business emails, business transactions.
01:24 And then you want to interview the other people on the other side of those transactions.
01:29 So there was testimony that the value add Hunter Biden brought to the Burisma board
01:35 was the Biden brand.
01:36 You want to confirm that with as many people as possible.
01:39 You want to pull strings and build a fulsome case.
01:43 Yeah, so Congressman Comer, who listened to the testimony yesterday, said that Hunter
01:48 Biden was under immense pressure to get the prosecutor looking into Burisma fired.
01:54 And then a few days later, Joe Biden goes to Ukraine and threatens to withhold $1 billion
01:59 in U.S. aid unless the prosecutor looking into Burisma is fired.
02:02 And then separately, you have this FBI informant that says that Joe and Hunter Biden got paid
02:07 $10 million to make that happen, to get the prosecutor fired.
02:12 So if all of that is true, what does that mean?
02:17 Then we're definitely in the realm of impeachment.
02:20 If that actually happened and the current Department of Justice is doing everything
02:24 it can to cover things up—and let's not forget, I mentioned records.
02:28 As an attorney, if I'm defending a client, they've done nothing wrong, you just turn
02:33 over the records.
02:34 You say, "Here you go.
02:35 They may be private, but in this instance, it's better for my business, better for me
02:39 to show you everything was on the up-and-up."
02:41 That's what President Trump did with the transcript.
02:45 When George W. Bush was accused of machinations at his Department of Justice, he turned everything
02:51 over because they said, "You know what?
02:53 Yeah, normally we'd keep this confidential, but it's too important to show the American
02:57 people that we are about justice, that we are fair."
03:00 And they said, "Here, look at it.
03:02 All the records in the administration's hand, in Biden's hand, where are they?"
03:08 Yeah.
03:09 Democrats in lockstep said Archer provided no evidence to implicate Joe Biden.
03:13 Take a listen to Democrat Congressman Dan Goldman.
03:17 The witness was unequivocal and stated very clearly that they never discussed any business
03:25 on that phone conversations.
03:27 There were niceties, and there was a hello, and there were talked about the weather or
03:31 whatever it was, but it was never any business.
03:35 That's a lot of weather, Sam Dewey.
03:37 What's your reaction to that incomprehensible statement from Dan Goldman?
03:41 I mean, it's too cute to be half.
03:43 And Mr. Goldman is an experienced prosecutor.
03:46 He knows, again, that if the vice president is repeatedly getting on the phone with his
03:51 son's clients, who he has to know are involved in international policy that he's involved
03:56 in making, even if niceties are being discussed, that is significant.
04:02 That in and of itself is a problem.
04:05 And that's if you believe the Democrats at their word.
04:09 There is plenty of evidence to suggest it went further than this.
04:12 And if you are at the top end of a scheme to influence Petal or whatever else you want
04:18 to call it, you're not going to comment directly.
04:21 That's why you have people below you.
04:23 You show up, you show you're involved, and then you let your lower-level people handle
04:28 it.
04:29 That's how these conspiracies work.
04:30 Mr. Goldman's put a lot of people in jail for those things.
04:33 He knows that.
04:34 Well, Devin Archer said that Burisma paid Hunter Biden up to a million dollars a year.
04:39 So now the question becomes, what did they get in return for that money spent?
04:44 Sam Dewey, thank you for joining us this morning.
04:46 We appreciate it.
