00:00 A deal for a joint collaboration between the DSWD and the DepEd to improve children's reading skills was inked today at the Rizal High School in Pasig City.
00:10 Vice President/DepEd Chief Sara Duterte Carpio and DSWD Head Honcho Rex Gachalian signed a memorandum of agreement launching a tutoring program to teach young kids how to read, dubbed Tara Basa.
00:24 This reformatted educational assistance program by the DSWD seeks to shepherd students of low-income households all the way to college in the hope of helping them find gainful work after graduation.
00:36 The program is focused on helping lift students from learning poverty by improving their reading skills.
