00:00 Hello my name is Zac Harvey and I am here at Fan Lodge just off Bickershire Lane and
00:06 I'm running a junior cart match for all the kids in the area because in our area, in the
00:13 Wigan area, there's nothing like this for kids.
00:15 So this is my third year of doing it and this year because it's getting well known we've
00:20 had a fantastic attendance of 26 kids.
00:23 I am on the committee of Wigan Angling Association so they have given us this lake here to put
00:29 this event on today.
00:31 It starts at 9 o'clock and finishes at 4 o'clock.
00:36 Great event, kids love it, they are down with the parents.
00:39 We've got a couple of celebrity professional carp anglers, Jake Wildboar and Neil Smith,
00:44 they come down and have a chat with the kids and at the end everybody gets a prize.
00:49 There's a competition for the biggest fish that's caught throughout the day and also
00:54 is the biggest weight of fish.
00:56 So if some people catch 3 fish and they are like £10 each and somebody catches a £40
01:01 it's the biggest weight that wins at the end.
01:04 Then we've got the first, second and third and this event will be on every single year.
