00:00 I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:05 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:07 All praise is due to Allah, the One and Only.
00:09 Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger and his family.
00:13 And upon all who follow him and follow him with good conduct.
00:18 O Allah, send blessings upon our Master and Master Muhammad and upon his family and companions.
00:28 Dear viewers and listeners,
00:32 Peace and blessings be upon you.
00:36 With the program "Listen and Recite",
00:40 your host, Muhammad Suhail Raza Amjadi is here to serve you.
00:48 Dear viewers and listeners, you know that we begin the program with any topic of the Quran and Hadith.
00:59 Dear viewers and listeners,
01:01 I would like to briefly explain the topic of the program.
01:09 In the Hadith number 3664, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says that
01:23 when a person comes and asks,
01:26 "Is there any good deed left from my parents' good deeds that I can do for them after their death?"
01:36 The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Yes, to pray for them and to ask for forgiveness for their sins,
01:41 to fulfil their promises after their death,
01:46 to honour their friends,
01:49 and to establish relationships that are due to them."
01:55 Number one thing, dear viewers,
01:57 is to provide your children with a worldly education, but make them so capable of religion
02:07 that when they die, at least, your eyes will be closed.
02:11 Not everyone has to die, right?
02:13 So that your eyes are closed.
02:15 Dear viewers, don't call anyone else for the washroom,
02:20 don't call anyone else for the shroud,
02:23 and don't knock on the door for the funeral prayer.
02:28 Instead, you should teach them about the shroud and the burial,
02:34 and then pray for them after they are buried in the grave.
02:38 At least, make them capable of this.
02:41 I am saying this very bluntly.
02:45 Make them capable of this.
02:47 Dear viewers, make them capable of praying after they die.
02:52 Make them capable of reciting Surah Yasin, Surah Ikhlas, Surah Mulk.
02:58 Make them capable of reciting the Quran and sending gifts to you.
03:02 In the Hadith of the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
03:06 it is said that on the Day of Judgment, a person will see the mountains of virtues in front of him.
03:13 He will say, "Mullah, these virtues are not mine."
03:17 It will be said, "Yes, they are not yours."
03:20 There is a narration that says, "Bi istighfari waladik"
03:23 and another narration that says, "Bi dua'i waladik"
03:27 Your son is asking for forgiveness for you, he is praying for you,
03:33 so it is said that these are his virtues.
03:35 And the good deeds of parents should be continued.
03:41 It is said that asking for forgiveness for them and fulfilling their promises after they die,
03:48 whether they were giving to a poor person in a mosque or a madrasa,
03:51 or distributing food to people,
03:54 or preparing food for people,
03:57 any good deed, should be continued after they die.
04:03 If you are not capable, then Allah will forgive you,
04:07 but those deeds should be continued.
04:09 This is the beater of those virtues that will be on for them.
04:13 And all these virtues will be sent to you and to them.
04:17 And then, to honour their friends.
04:21 Those people whom they loved and were friends with,
04:27 after the death of their father,
04:29 especially to treat them well.
04:32 Similarly, if the parents are there,
04:35 then to treat the people who were in a relationship with them,
04:38 whether it was their aunt or others,
04:41 to treat them well.
04:43 After the death of Huzoor (pbuh)
04:48 when something was cooked in the house,
04:50 then to those people whom he loved,
04:55 those friends,
04:56 he used to send them food and meat.
05:00 And the last thing,
05:03 to maintain those relationships,
05:05 which are related to them.
05:07 For example,
05:09 if your grandparents are alive,
05:11 if you have uncles and aunts,
05:13 then to maintain good relations with them.
05:16 Because it is possible that you have been hurt because of them.
05:20 But you should think that they are your father's brothers,
05:25 they are his sisters,
05:26 so to maintain good relations with them.
05:28 If we adopt these few things in our life,
05:33 then Inshallah our life will be a place of peace and tranquility.
05:38 May Allah enable us to follow these things.
