On Thursday evening, the Haryana government razed shanties of immigrants living in Tauru, which is about 20 km away from violence-hit Nuh. The government said that they were bulldozed for encroaching on government land. However, the move is also being seen as action against alleged rioters. The bulldozer action came after both the district administration and the Chief Minister earlier alleged immigrants were involved in the clashes. Sources said that Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar ordered the demolition.
