00:09 The iconic soap vet Eric Braden, who plays Victor Newman in The Young and the Restless,

00:19 has had a couple of rough past months. With his prostate cancer diagnosis,

00:23 it hasn't been the same for him anymore. But being the fighter he is, he is keeping his

00:27 fighting spirit still alive and has been battling like a pro. He is going through chemotherapy and

00:32 it has worked wonders for him. He is already back on his feet and shining through his role.

00:36 But sadly, it seems like our favorite Genoa City star has been dealing with a bit of trouble on set

00:41 and it's got something to do with his ears. In a recent tweet, Braden let us know about his visit

00:46 to an audiologist's studio. The man with the commanding voice and on-screen presence has

00:50 been having a bit of a hearing issue. According to Eric himself, he's been struggling to catch

00:55 every word his fellow actors are saying. So, when Nicky starts talking, he's all like,

01:00 "Huh? What did you say? You know, that classic 'huh?'" We've grown to love these conversations.

01:05 The good news is that he's taking it all in good spirits. He tweeted, "Everything is cool my man,

01:10 just having my hearing checked. Nicky is asking too many questions." To all those concerned about

01:14 his health, he assured everyone that he's doing alright in his battle against cancer as well.

01:19 As he tweeted, "Not finished yet. Will have further checkups in August but feel good."

01:23 Now, don't go thinking that the great Victor Newman will be changing his catchphrase anytime

01:27 soon. He's still got that "my way" or "the highway" attitude intact, even if he sometimes

01:32 needs a what-repeat from his co-stars. Classic Victor. Eric Braden might be facing a little
